Excellent value for money. Very comfortable beds. Very good WiFi. Spotlessly clean. English news on TV. Very helpful, courteous staff.

Only that the parking was up a steep hill from the hotel (but you could deposit your luggage at the hotel before parking the vehicle). Not a real problem for us but could be for others. Also no tea/coffee making facilities but as they are keeping their costs down this is understandable. We could have been unlucky, but there was a fair bit of very early morning noise from maintenance vehicles in the street below. However this was reduced by shutting the windows!

For the price I paid for my room, I was greatly satisfied. The staff were helpful at all times, even if they were a little busy, they would apologize for the wait. The young man at the front desk helped me get my phone activated, and the young girl in the dining room was an angel--the one from Portugal. Sorry I am really bad with names, I could tell that the staff were very conscientious and wanting to make everyone happy. The location was excellent, with an elevator at the end of the road that lowered us to the main level of the town. The bus stop to the train station was a few blocks away. Mainly it is worth the stay for the attention of the staff and the location.

I didn't like waiting for the elevator on busy days.

The hotel was in a central location and was very functional - clean beds and bathroom. The front desk manager prepared great cappuccinos in the morning.

We only stayed there for one night so this wasn't a major issue, but we booked the hotel partly because it had air conditioning. They had put in a central override where the AC in our rooms couldn't be set to our desired temperature. When we went to the front desk with this issue, they just shrugged their shoulders and said we'd have to live with it. Not ideal, IMO.

The cleanliness, the bath tub and bidet. The dining room and welcoming staff. The bday wish of spaghetti bolognese for longer life and surprise champagne. Only I am not an alcohol drinker, just a bit.

Wish Christine granted my request for fresh linens on the 4th night for my 70th bday since I was staying for 7 nights. A hot water jug is a must. The location is not that close to the entrance of the sanctuary as described. The uphill climb was a challenge given that I suffer from asthma and back problems. And taking the external lift.

The receptionist Sonia was absolutely great, very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were large and comfortable. The hotel is VERY close to the sanctuary, which is just perfect to attend the evening procession. There is free parking, within a short uphill walk of the hotel (so it's best to drop off your luggage first).

Although the hotel has undergone some recent refurbishments, the bedroom doors don't block out any sounds, so there's a lot of noise from the corridors. The hotel serves meals for an extra cost; we had dinner there on the night we arrived, and although the service was friendly, the food was very basic and bland. However, we opted to have breakfast elsewhere, and that turned out to be a bad decision, since there are almost no decent or reasonable options nearby.

The room was comfortable. Breakfast could be more varied for vegetarians

We have traveled during the night and would be nice if could check in earlier as requested. We arrived before 10 am to Loudres and had to wait until 3 pm to check in when we were exhausted. That was the only thing we were disappointed with the hotel. Every year we visit Loudres and always stayed at this hotel.

The breakfast was good and had reasonable varieties of food and snacks. The meals were tasty 😋 The location is excellent 👌. I enjoyed the shower and the toilet is clean. The hotel is generally clean . Staff are friendly.

Breakfast was a little bit early for me . There was no extra coffee or tea , milk. sachet and kettle in the room. Also there was no adaptor for charging phones. The hotel can do more to have charging port in the rooms or sockets.

Parked outside close to 6pm so happy about that. Not far to any of the restaurants or the sanctuary. The procession at 9pm in the sanctuary is special and not to be missed. Bar open late hubby happy he could grab a cold beer.

The location to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes was close.

No complimentary tea and coffee in the room. No kettle that you needed most especially when you went back to hotel every late and need hot water so you need to go to the bar ask for hot water and bring to your room.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was perfect to walk to the Lourdes grotto from. The lady at reception very kindly ordered a taxi for us to get back to the airport when we were leaving. Definitely would stay again.

The toilet seat was broken in my bathroom, but still usable
