This hotel was in a central location. It’s about 8-10 minute walk from the train station, and it’s about 8-10 minute walk from the Grotto. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The lady at the reception helped me book the taxi for the next morning so that I could catch the earliest flight out of Lourdes. The next morning, the gentleman at the front desk opened the door and turned on the t.v. for me as I waited for my taxi. There’s a postal box across the street if you’d like to mail your postcards. I love the spiral staircase. I love how they gave me a room on the second level with the view of the street below me. I was very surprised to discover that St. Bernadette’s birthplace was just around the corner, maybe around 2-3 minute walk from the hotel.

Location is perfect to visit the Sanctuary and grotto, turn left as you leave the hotel and you will reach the Sanctuary within five minutes. Good 15 minute walk from the rail station where the Airport bus terminates. Staff very friendly. Frederique was a star and always had a smile for us.

Mealtimes were pleasant but as a vegetarian you will not have a good choice. This is indicative of Lourdes and France more than this hotel though, who did their best to accommodate us (omelettes, pasta etc). The soup and bread saved the day. Vegans should go self catering or live on bread and chips!

Great location, comfortable and very clean, lovely big bathroom, very quiet area at night once the processions are over there is absolutely no noise outside, I had a toddler so her sleep schedule was maintained, friendly and very very helpful staff definitely recommend great value for money.

Only downside no tea/coffee facilities in the room, busy little hotel so the bar/cafe in reception wasn't manned so had to go outside hotel to get coffee...if room had a kettle it would have been perfect as the French have no idea how to make decent tea that was the only downside to this trip

. The room was comfortable quite.The clean and comfortable beds.The location of hotel was to visit excellent to Sanctuary and a few minutes walk up hill the station. We had breakfast daily it wasn't a big breakfast just humble one piece baguette one slice of good ham&cheese coffee they always served plain yoghurt. In was convenient we had half board it was always something different every day.

We didn't have air conditioning or a fan but it's not the hotel fault as temperature 43°to 40 for the first three day.It an old fashioned hotel but nothing to complain about as the price we paid was fair one.

the floor boards in the room were so creaky couldn’t move with out waking some one up, could even hear them in the room next door

Location was absolutely excellent,The rooms were very clean and it was a continental breakfast, which was good. We found Fred to be very friendly and would give him 10 out of 10, he couldn’t do enough for us,he always had a smile on his face,It was also great to have a bar in the hotel for a night cap.

We could not say anything bad about the place.

Extremely close to the church with shops as soon as you walk outside. Staff were very friendly. Room was average sized with a balcony.

It was stated that they give adapters but they didn’t have much of a range so we couldn’t use any. The view from the window was just a wall with a road above (people walk past and can see right into the room if you leave the door open).

We were very happy with everything. Nice room and very close to Lourdes and shops. Everything was just walking distance. Breakfast and dinner was great. Staff are very polite and helpful.

Nothing to complain about. Great service. Happy with everything. We had a great time. The only thing is we wish McDonald was closer.

The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, they even let us leave our luggage at the reception desk while we visited the city after having checked out. Breakfast was nice and filling and the rooms were clean and comfy. The location is the perfect walking distance from the sanctuary, shops, restaurants and the train station.
