A very old cosy hotel, in a good and lively neighbourhood, very friendly and helpful service. More like a more private hostel than a hotel, but a good value for one night.

Everything is tiny, there room, the bathroom, the stairs. Good for one night, but would be uncomfortable for a long stay. The house is very old and a bit run down, but it adds to the atmosphere.

Good value for money , individual room in the city centre. The building seem to have a long history. walls and decoration look a bit old but I like that, it still feels like it was classy in the good old days, . Although not really a "all you can eat" buffet for breakfast, there was enough food to have a good start and go ,with bread, mini-croissant, cheese , jam , different kinds of cornflakes and orange juice, and you can watch the street from the breakfast room.

Nice quiet hotel right in the city center. I got exactly what I expected for the price they offer. The room was clean and quiet with a nice view to the street. The personnel is very nice and kind. The location was perfect for me.

The rooms are old but for me it was ok, it created an atmosphere like in old French movies :)

Location was great! Very central and safe. Close to everything or a short subway ride away. The room was small but I was only sleeping there, so it was fine. It was a bit hot but there was a fan, which was useful during the night. Clean room. Minimal but perfect for a short stay. I was happy with it.

location - in the city centre but without noises from the street. unfortunately I can here everything from my neighbours (the walls are so tony that I had felling that someone wants to open my door). staff was very friendly

very small shower (and I am slim), it would be useful to refresh the rooms (holes in the walls), towels or hair dryer could be in the room (there are available but you must ask in the reception). I knew this things because I have read all the comments.

Small cozy clean room for one person. I felt very comfortable and at ease in this hotel. It is very clean and pleasant here, even though the hotel has one star. I was very surprised by the cleanliness of the room, the location and the friendly staff.

Excellent small hotel right in the old center of Lyon .Excellent service, pleasant personnel and a good breakfast for a very low price. Recommended to all who prefer quality above high hotel prices in the center of Lyon!!

All was perfect

This is not a modern business hotel, and it is not luxurious. What it is, is -- a fabulous location for the old quarter, and so all the sights, restaurants, churches, at an extremely reasonable price. When I visited it was basically 50% of the price of the next cheapest available hotel. The staircase is a little tatty, but my room was very clean -- recently refurbished (2022). Lots of hot water in the shower. The windows are not double-glazed, and the wifi (on 4th floor) was slow / intermittent. If you want to spend most of your time looking around the city, and you're on a budget, I can't imagine a much better choice.

If you have mobility problems you probably won't be able to manage the staircase. Bathroom a little cramped. Wifi intermittent. Window single glazed.

Location fantastic. Literally 5 mins from Cordeliers metro stop. Right in the heart of the city. Staff lovely. I needed city centre and got city centre.

Spiral staircase to fourth floor a bit awkward with two bags. My room didn't have a bathroom door. But then it was a single. Room steamed up using the shower.
