Hotel was exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable and a short walk to old Lyon . Staff was super friendly. Other reviews comments on the size of the rooms but truthfully for the price they are just excellent value. Not much smaller than anything I had in Paris for three times the price. Yes, the bathroom is small but it is quite functional and we didn't have a problem with its size at all. There is parking nearby for 20 euros per night or free parking on the street from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. Parking in the area on the street after 9:00 a.m. is €60 per day.

All the receptionists were kind and welcoming. I want to give a special thanks to Abibou, who always had a sincere smile and was consistently kind, helpful, and welcoming, whether you arrived during the day or in the middle of the night while he was cleaning. The hotel was quiet, with no noise from outside or other rooms, and it was generally clean.

The shower could be improved by replacing the curtain with a shower cabin. The location was somewhat inconvenient, as accessing other streets was difficult due to the nearby highway and station. Additionally, there was an unpleasant smell, likely from the carpets, which could be improved by removing them for a fresher environment.

The room was small, perfectly adequate, just a little small. I loved the utter efficiency of the room - everything was there, the shower while very small, fit perfectly - the shower curtain didn't touch me - there was enough room! The breakfast offering was INCREDIBLE! Beautifully and efficiently set up, and then well-maintained by an attentive person who kept all offerings fresh and full, and cleared tables in a second to have room for the next guests. The desk personnel both morning and evening were kind, helpful and patient. We were made to feel welcome, as were all other guests. My compliments on an establishment well-run! Bien merci! Everything was excellent.

Very good location, near public transportation and center. Stuff very professional. And good breakfast also.

Everything was great. I have just one suggestion which is not related to a negative thing, but to better serve the clients. The eggs at breakfast are not boiled, and althought yes, there is an egg boiler just besides them, I think a simple note besides the eggs to inform the clients they should boil the eggs will help. I saw 3 persons in one morning crushing eggs as they thought are already boiled. :))

This was my 2nd stay with them. Excellent location, easy to walk to the old town, city centre and main metro/tram/train station around the corner. Superb staff, they are really the best. Love the interior decor and the train theme. There is a small corner store that is open through the night at the end of the street which is very useful.

Bathrooms are very small, as is typical of France. Breakfast was ok but limited choices and does not vary from one day to the next, so it can get boring.

Greeted by beautiful staff member, Loris set the tone for a terrific evening. He gave us excellent info on getting around town and couldn’t be more helpful. The bed was super comfy and even though it was the tiniest bathroom ever, the room was great. Breakfast was nice with many choices. The coffee machine was ok

The egg cooker needed higher heat and the desk staff insisted on turning it down off the boil. Didn’t find the desk staff warm and pleasant like Loris the night before.

I loved the location & I loved how they had a parking agreement in place so parking wasn’t a problem. The metro was easily around 100 meters at most (~300ft US units). The staff were amazing! The breakfast delicious and the rooms clean.

I wish they asked for room name or ID confirmation when picking up your room key and the lift is a tight squeeze (no surprise for us but some might balk at its size). I also think it is hard to find something to critique the hotel about since they were quite wonderful!

This petite hotel was an amazing choice for our 1 week stay. The room was quite small but cozy and had everything needed. We particularly enjoyed the tiny bathroom which reminded of a little toilet cabin in the train :) but it was nice because the hotel has its theme related to the Orient express train. We also liked the breakfast, it was quite basic but more than enough to start a day. Also the personnel was attentive and responsive to our requests. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Lyon!

Liked the room. Bed was good size and comfortable. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Close to Lyon Perrache station and in a modern area of the city but we could walk to the Hotel de ville. Brasserie Georges next door was good.

The train travel themed decor is lovely but it also includes the bathroom which was a bit on the small side. Could do with a few more hooks for hanging up stuff.

Our room was on the 1st level with a tiny corridor, but when we got inside the room, it felt nice. Comfy bed, good size room for near old town location. The best is being beside the brasserie Georges restaurant. Go to the hotel first before parking at perrache archives parking (1.9m high). Buy a discounted 24h car park. It's just 350m away from the hotel and my 5m long van got in, so good experience anyhow.

Im not a fan of cubicle modular shower & and toilet, but i have say that this capsule shower closet is probably the biggest or spacious one I've tried. Sink was narrow but deep so making it correct in size. Shower area was a bit lacking of space but hey it's a cubicle. No coffee in the room nor a coffee vendo machine to go.
