Everything about this hotel was amazing including the location (close to train station, shopping etc..). The rooms were very spacious, clean and well-maintained. The lady at the reception (I did not get her name) but she was great. I was sick for 2 days and she was empathetic and very helpful. I recommend highly.

The only thing to watch is the rooms in the back building are smaller than the rooms in the front but when we asked to be moved to front building they did.

Super friendly staff. Ample breakfast that was regularly replenished. Good location (quiet despite being opposite a church). Little playground by the church. Easy access to tram and metro and shopping :) I noticed there were items you could borrow, like a kid's stroller, little bike, games etc, which was a nice touch.

Our room (duplex apartment) was REALLY warm at night. We couldn't sleep with the windows open and the AC didn't seem to reach upstairs by the bedroom. The bathroom smelled badly from the (visible) mildew in there. Bath towels were rather small and toilet paper was very thin! I'm not convinced that the hair in our bed sheets was from us :( and there were some stains on the sheets that I noticed when pulling out the duvet on the last morning (not from us). Suggest you check the beds upon arrival.

Bread at breakfast could have been better (larger, tastier loaves). Just one cheese was disappointing for France. Duvet was too warm for summer. Room colour was dark, drab, would improve with some colourful accessories Kitchen equipment was locked up and you have to ask for unlocking. Should be offered. Paper beakers for hot drinks

A very comfortable apartment very close to the center and to a lot of shops and services. A fantastic shopping center was located very close ( 5 minutes walk) and, on the other side of the Station (Gare de Lyon), there were all the center shops and restaurants. The staff has been incredibly kind and professional helping me in all check in operation ( they were very gentle to take me to the garage and to the apartment even if it was very cold outside ).

Honestly I didn't find anything to improve. All was according our expectations.

Room was comfortable and really good value for money. Place very conveniently situated, with its own parking space for 11e per day, cost less than 2 hours parking in the street.

Some youngsters were partying and running between the floors, but they stopped just at midnight. Breakfast was overpriced: 14e per person did not sound right for the quality of coffee and choice. A lot of canned fruits and lovely jams but barely scrambled eggs and no vegetables at all to match.

Well firstly, I asked for a quiet room as I am a poor sleeper. Most hotels just reply 'subject to availability' as they cant be bothered attending to such requests. However, this hotel replied: Bien noté and they did give me a room at the end of a corridor and facing the quiet side, so I was very happy about this! One night I slept for 11 hours which I have not done for about 15 years! The room was large (the bathroom was unusually large which was rather comical) and the bed was lovely. The staff were great, really friendly and helpful. I decided to try and speak French right from the beginning and they were so patient and polite, never once immediately switching to English to insult me and not smirking at my dreadful French. My suitcase broke and I asked for a screwdriver, the lady searched everywhere to provide me with several different ones in various sizes! The location is excellent as its right in between the 2 rivers, lovely for running in the mornings or just sitting by the river in the evening but still a short walk to town. Loved this hotel!

The kitchen was rather strange as there was nothing provided in the way of washing up materials. I had to buy a cloth, liquid etc. But thats not really a problem, just something to consider. I am used to a large cup of tea in the morning so also had to buy a mug, but thats not a reason to rate the hotel poorly, its just a consideration for improvement.

The staff were exceptionally helpful during our stay, driving back to Calais. It was a great stop over. But because it was so well situated with only a 20/25 minute walk to the centre and only a 15 minute walk to the shopping mall it is an ideal location. Secure car parking was an additional bonus, but there were really no faults at all. Literally local next door restaurants were also very good when it poured down one evening and we took refuge in one, the food was great. A great stay and we would return simply for the location and value for money. Thanks.

ROOM: The room was very spacious and the bathroom was big. The kitchenette facily was as expected. Very big tv Everything was working properly VERY CLEAN: The cleaners cleaned throughly every day RECEPTION: There was always someone at reception would you need any help. TRAIN: Near the train station Perrache and 10 minutes walk to a big Carrefour (at Confluence)

BATHTUB: The AP shaped bathtub resulted on being a narrow bathtub when wanting a bath, now ideal for bath lovers LOCATION TO CENTRAL LYON: It was a bit far to walk to the main shopping street Rue de la République (about 25 minutes), the same for the Old Lyon but you can always use the Tram if you wish.

The location was very good. The staff at the reception were always friendly and helpful. I also liked it that our room faced the courtyard, so we never heard the traffic. The housekeeping was also very well done. The room always looked neat and clean upon our return. The Turkish/Lebanese restaurant a few doors away was excellent. Lots of small markets and patisseries on the same street.

My bed was a bit on the lumpy side - you could hear the springs squeak. but I still managed to sleep well. Also, despite the nice thick red curtains, the morning light still came into the room, so we always woke up early. It's because there's a gap between the curtains and the wall. I suggest a quick fix - put hooks on the wall next to the windows. Then put studs (a hole) in the curtains. At night, guests just need to loop the curtains onto the hooks and seal off the gaps completely.
