Location, location, location. Close to absolutely everything. Quiet room. The staff was very helpful. We prefer smaller hotels.

Although the picture gallery showed rooms with windows, our room did not have a window. The bathroom had two large and very nice (frosted glass) windows. The sliding glass door on the bathroom was odd since it wasn't completely obscured. Decoration was quirky. We'd been in France for 3 weeks and stayed at 5 hotels. Language barrier was most challenging at this hotel. Our other hotels had their most language fluent and outgoing staff at the reception desk during the busiest check-in times. First impressions set the tone for the stay.

Lovely looking stylish hotel, friendly staff, easy check in and check out process. Excellent location in relation to loads of restaurants, pharmacy and the beach/beach clubs. There is a small lift that works perfectly and fits two people and two suitcases. 15-20 minute walk away from main train station, towel/clothes heater in room is a nice touch and a very clean hotel overall. You can also rent beach towels here for the day. Didn't have breakfast here but definitely recommend this hotel for solo/couples travelling.

Minor concerns/personal preferences - minimal bench space & very small fridge

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are big enough to accommodate sleeping for two adults and they are very clean. Do not expect massive rooms since the hotel is in a typical French old building that is renovated and repurposed into a hotel, also everything is explained before booking. Staff at reception were very friendly and answered questions quickly, even before our arrival. We got fortunate, because our room was ready before the advised check-in time, and we also got upgraded to a balcony room which I highly recommend!! The view from the room is amazing (can even see the Mediterranean sea). We are grateful since the price paid for the hotel location is justified with nothing that compares nearby. It is worth mentioning that the hotel lift is small, but that's not an issue as it's perfectly fine to fit up to 3-4 people. There are loads of shops, restaurants and bus, tram stops nearby within 5-7 mins. walking. I would definitely book the hotel when visiting next year. Location is gold!! Thank you.

Friendly helpful staff. Very clean throughout. Plenty of lights in the bedroom. Fridge and safe in bedroom. Generous breakfast (16€ I think), with well-staffed table service (unusual these days) and with staff frequently offering further items to eat - e.g. eggs, coffee top ups. I liked the 1920s style of architecture combined with modern comforts and some fun decor. Excellent location, just round the corner from a main pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants, yet not noisy at night. Near the sea front and not too far to walk to Vieux Nice. Less than ten minutes walk to the tram stop for the journey to and from the airport.

Nothing much to say here. The swags that hold the curtains open could have been supplied with larger hooks so one didn't have to tie knots!

Really loved this little hotel on a quiet street. Full of style and character. Lovely friendly staff. 1930s style is one of my favourites. Comfortable room, proper mattresses and clean bathroom. The only thing that lets them down is the toilet seat. Clip on thin plastic? Be careful as you sit down as it makes a snappy noise. Shame as 1. it is not comfortable, 2. it is not in keeping with your lovely decor. It didn't spoil our stay, it was just surprising. Lovely breakfast served to us, thank you, so pleasant fruit, eggs, cheeses and pastries, etc. I would stay again.

The hotel has an artistic vibe. It offers a sense of history with modern upgrades . Excellent and convenient location steps from the beach, active night life and shopping . Tge staff were professional , informative and very friendly .

Don’t have enough good things to say about this hotel! Everything was excellent from the staff to room comfort to location. So close to the beach and other restaurants shops etc. given the beach is rocky, it is amazing they have chairs for you to use! This is one of the few places in Europe Id stay at again. 10/10 recommend!!

WiFi didn’t really work, but not a huge issue

Cleanliness. The staff were very helpful , friendly, whilst being completely professional. We loved that it is a small French hotel. The decor and original features from the 1920s added greatly to our enjoyment. We felt totally at home and comfortable.

Well decorated, clean, comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Could not fault room, had everything for a very comfortable stay. In a perfect location.

Reception area unwelcoming and cluttered, stairs and landings full of stuff. Lighting could be brighter in stairwells and corridors, too dull and uninviting. Put off ordering breakfast in hotel as tables set out in reception.

Great location!! We were 3, took the bigger and more expensive room, so the size was ok. Renovated bathroom. Very nice breakfast

The lobby is very small and not welcoming, at the beginning when we saw it from the outside we had concerns about the hotel. Breakfast is also served in this lobby.
