We loved the unique themes of each room and the entire aesthetic of the hotel overall. The garden was perfect for some poolside reading. We also took advantage of the bar by ordering a glass or two of rosé each evening while we read. We must also appreciate the fantastic staff that were nothing short of exceptional in their attempts to be welcoming and helpful.

I didn't like that we had to leave after our stay :( We would prefer if we could stay forever!!

The room was good but nothing special. The key attraction was the view overlooking the semi tropical courtyard with a balcony where we could sit outside and appreciate that beautiful view. It is a green oasis in the heart of Nice. We arrived at the hotel at 5:30 PM and had made dinner reservations at their restaurant. Seating is within the beautiful courtyard and the dinner was excellent. The location in the heart of Nice with everything walkable is perfect. Service at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful.

The ground floor was a bit shabby. The bar was not inviting and was always empty.

I absolutely loved the hotel. The staff is very friendly and made my stay a great experience. I really felt very welcome and well taken care of: they explained me the hotel and the facilities upon arrival. You really should take the time to go through the wonderful tropical garden and relax there. I arrived a bit later in the evening and they enabled me to still use the sauna cabin, so that I could relax after my long travel to Nice. Sauna comes with an extra payment of 15€ for 30 mins and opening times are usually 9am - 8pm, so plan your arrival accordingly. Breakfast was really great with a huge range of salty and sweet offers and fruits. Fully recommended!

The location is ideal. To get from the airport you just take the tram to the Alsace-Lorraine stop and then the hotel is just a few minutes' walk away. It is also a few minutes walk to the Promenade des Anglais and the sea and, in the other direction, to the railway station which is useful for days out to other towns along the coast. The centre of the city is also a gentle stroll away. The hotel is in what seems to be a very pleasant area. There are several restaurants and cafes very close by and some very grand buildings. The room was a very decent size and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a desk, a table and chairs and a wardrobe so plenty of room for our belongings. There was a fault with the safe when we arrived but the staff sorted the problem out. The lighting was fine. There were light by the bed which meant that there was no problem reading. The bathroom was much bigger than those in many hotels we have stayed in, and the shower pressure was fine. A little balcony looked out onto the street. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and a fridge. It was very quiet. We heard no sound from the street (or from other rooms). Staff were welcoming and friendly. We had emailed the hotel a few days before arriving and had some helpful reponses about getting to the hotel and nearby restaurants. We arrived before check-in time and were given a welcome drink, some information about the hotel and a map. We were able to leave our suitcases while we went for lunch and our first look round Nice. Every time we went in or out of the hotel we had a cheery greeting from the staff at the reception desk. It really added something to our stay. We stayed on a room only basis. We had breakfast on the hotel on two occasions. The first time we had the continental breakfast, on the second (our last day) we went for the full buffet. There is a little garden with an aviary and a small pool which would no doubt be very pleasant in the summer.

I liked everything about this hotel!

The staff were so friendly and helpful (and patient with my poor French!). The location for me was excellent. It was 10-15 mins walk from main shopping area, 10 mins to area with lots of restaurants amd maybe 20 mins walk to beach. There is a wee shop a few doors down if you wanted snacks, fruit etc. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Welcome gift and drink was a lovely touch. Although I didn't use it, there is a beautiful outdoor terrace with lots of greenery and a pool area as well. It is a really interesting hotel with lots of unusual artwork.

Nothing in particular.

Excellent location, close to restaurants, sea front and main station. Very easy transfer from the airport using the tram which picks up immediately outside both terminals. We didn't use the restaurant as it was too formal for us but it seemed quite popular for breakfast and the evening meal options.

Our visit was late March and the air temp was only peaking around 17c, during the day, but our room was quite warm overnight and the aircon couldn't cope and if you open the windows (there are shutters) it's quite noisy.

We arrived late because of a flight delay. I did not like my room but the receptionist found me a room I loved. The restaurant had stopped service at 9.30 and by the time we were settled it was already 9.40 but the chef managed to rustle up a delicious light meal for us for which we were extremely grateful. The breakfast was delicious with all sorts of divine viennoiseries. The garden was so cool and welcoming to sit out or have breakfast in. The reception, breakfast staff and chambermaids were extremely helpful and friendly. As for the location, it could not have been better within walking distance of two tramstops and a local minibus, a few minutes walk to the Promenade des Anglais and with so many restaurants within easy reach. There are three tramlines and we bought a 1.50 ticket at the airport on Line 2 which took us to the stop Alsace-Lorraine within ten minutes walk to the hotel along Blvd Victor Hugo. We asked about tickets at the hotel the next morning and were told about a 7-day tram and bus ticket for 15 euros which took us everywhere we wanted to go within Nice, including back to the airport, to Port Lympia and to the railway station for tickets to Antibes and Cannes. We caught the local bus from Jean-Medecin tramstop to our hotel on the way home when we were tired from a day out and got off at Congres/Joffre which was two minutes from our hotel and saved us going down and up at the Jean-Medecin stop. Fantastic value. We were there for a week The area was very quiet as was the hotel. No noise from other guests.

It was difficult hauling our suitcases up and down the entrance steps but other guests helped a little. Otherwise, I can't think of anything.

Very nice, big and comfortable room. Loved the balcony and the view. All staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful. We came very early, but we were allowed to use the pool facilities, and they even carried our luggage to the room and informed us that the room was ready for us. Excellent location for beach, restaurants and shopping. Pool is not so big, and water was a bit dirty due to the garden, but it was still a great facility to have access to given how central the hotel is. And the garden was a beautiful place to relax on a warm day. Aircondition worked very well, compared to other places we have stayed in Nice.

Bathroom was a bit small and dated.

Overall the room was great (despite the strange design) and had almost everything we needed. The staff were nice and the location was excellent (close to public transport, supermarkets, restaurants).

For us the main issue was the fact that the air conditioning didn’t work on cold (the hotel said it was not the season to activate it), and the room was sometimes very hot during day and night, which forced us to open the balcony door to get some cold air. However, almost every time we did there was lots of noise coming out of the street below us, so we couldn’t sleep properly.

Very tranquil setting, lovely gardens and small pool. Room had two French windows opening onto a terrace that led straight down to the garden area, Quality of meals at dinner was exceptional with service to match from all the staff.

Breakfast was adequate but not quite up to the standard of the meals at dinner time. There was very little not to like at the hotel although I was surprised to be charged for the water provided in the room as I didn't see any message that it was not complimentary.
