The professional and friendly staff, especially Sylvie, made my stay truly exceptional. The hotel's prime location was convenient for exploring the area. My room was incredibly spacious, and the balcony offered a fabulous view and an abundance of sunlight, especially for February. Additionally, I appreciated the option to request breakfast in the room. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend this hotel to others. On top of everything, the great value for money made my experience even more satisfying. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

This is a comfortable, centrally situated hotel, with staff on hand to assist at all times of the day. The price of drinks in the bar was reasonable. Breakfast was a delight with a wide choice of hot and cold food and good coffee. Staff were helpful but their knowledge of some local facilities was lacking. The room was spacious, quiet and exceeded expectation. The weather was perfect for late November!

Oddly, the hall carpet on the third floor looked worn, stained and out of character with the standard of all other facilities. The pillows had some strange, inorganic filling. Some information from staff at reception was inaccurate re transport to air terminal and bus tours. There was not enough information on the website detailing how close the hotel was to two metro stations. Room temperature was not easily controllable.

1) We loved the location - so near to everything. A few minutes walk to the promenade, the shops, the train station and the tram stop. 2) We thought the hotel was charming and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had an exec room and had requested a twin beds, but when we arrived the room had a double bed. But it was no problem and the staff changed it to two beds straightaway. They were brilliant! 3) Lovely breakfast and service.

Only one mishap. There is a small step outside the hotel where I tripped and hurt my knee. Please take care there. I was looking up and dragging my case behind me and didn't see it!

Hotel is very conveniently located on Victor Hugo str. just 5 minute walk from Gare Nice, 5 minute walk to the sea and promenade, and 3 minute walk to tram Line 2. Nice walking area around with plenty of restaurants. The room we had was well-equipped, with comfortable bed, gorgeous views over the terrace, with a really huge bathroom! Both the room and generally facilities of the hotel are well-maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and super-helpful, we’d like to say special thanks Akim and also to young lady (whose name slipped from my mind) for valuable advice and assistance during our stay.

The team at La Malmaison were brilliant. We were upgraded due to a special occasion and all the staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. Sylvie who checked us in was really knowledgeable who recommended a number of restaurants which we visited as well as things to do on our first visit to Nice. The hotel was conveniently located to the beach and a station and an easy walk into the Old Town. Will definitely be staying here when we next return.

Hotel was very nice & cosy! Very clean & staff were amazing & very accommodating to whatever request we made. Decent location, short walking distance to many of the main attractions & promenade! We wished we stayed longer, defo would recommend to others!

Facilities in the bathroom need updated! We had 2 triple rooms, 1 was totally fine whereas other one had faulty bath plus so water wouldn’t drain if you shower & hair & body dispenser was not working. And in both rooms the bathroom extractor fan weren’t working. But overall clean bathroom! Still would go again!

Loved the location of the hotel! It was extremely central, a short walk to the beach and felt very safe. Located on a street with great restaurants. My room was on the 5th floor and was a great size with a stunning view of the neighborhood. I sat out there and had coffee every morning from the lovely nespresso machine. The bathroom was also fabulous and had clean towels and great Nuxe bath amenities. I also loved the jacuzzi spa tub which was great after a long day walking around town. Lastly, the TV was huge for the room and had a great selection of recent and classic hits. A perfect stay!

The only issue was the elevator which runs a bit slow. Other than that, everything was truly fantastic!

The Hotel was situated in a peaceful neighbourhood, close to the Promenade d’Anglais and only a feel minutes’ walk from a tram stop. A very good breakfast, a friendly staff and a clean room & a stylish interior. Everything went very smoothly!

Well there was actually nothing to complain about! It’s worth noticing though, that in order to reach the Place Massena or Ville Vielle (Old Town), you have to walk quite a bit (for us it wasn’t a problem). Also if you like to stay in an area with a lot of restaurants and entertainment, this isn’t the neighbourhood for you.

The friendliness and service from the staff, was off the charts. Absolutely perfect. It was conveniently located, and most aspects of the building itself extremely charming.

As an American traveler, there’s a baseline, expectation, right or wrong around bathrooms specific to showers. It’s not that it fell short of expectations more than there was a significant learning curve, needed to avoid spraying the shower in the bathroom for a tub without a Curtain.

We were very happy with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff really made a difference. Especially all the interactions we had with Mike at the reception, who made us feel valued as guests, and with Nicoleta and her other colleagues during breakfast who went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. The views from our balcony were wonderful!!
