The location is great. Hundreds of different shops, restaurants, bars & cafes to choose from all within walking distance. The Edgar Quintet market & Metro stop is right down the street. I love the history of Montparnasse. This is where the very essence of Modern Art was born. The Montparnasse Tower is also close by & it has an observation deck on the 56th floor with a 360-view of Paris that should not be missed. The staff at the Hotel were very accommodating. The rooms are quaint & dormlike, perfect for 1 or 2 people. The large french windows open to the outside so you can lean outside. The hardwood floors are clean, the bed is long & comfy, I'm 6'4". It has a mini fridge, TV, free WiFi & a small closet. The shower was awesome. They offer a decent breakfast, although we skipped out to take advantage of all the places close by. Also, the cleaning staff was on point they did an excellent job. No Bed Bugs! 😃

The elevator is small. The lobby decor is a little dated, & the dim sum restaurant right next door was horrible.

I booked a room at Apollinaire because I thought the location was good and also, I really liked the way this hotel looked in the pictures they posted on booking.com - but I didn't check the reviews. Before arriving, I read some reviews and to my surpise, they weren't really good and they made me a little bit nervous about my stay there. The truth is , the hotel doesn't look exactly like in the pictures. The decor of the rooms is the same, but what you don't see in the pictures is that the walls and the furniture are a little bit old and degraded and there is some dust here and there. But in my opinion, this were minor downsides. The location is absolutely great if you plan to visit Paris, it is very close to 2 metrostations ( Vavin and Edgar Quinet) and you have all connections that you need to get around the city. The breakfast is simple yet qualitative and delicious. The staff is really nice and helpful. The room was actually really cosy and warm , the bed was super comfortable and the pillows were soft , bathroom was ok too. Towels were changed whenever it was needed, the bed was made everyday. Overall , the hotel was nice and I would definitely come back . If you book early ,it's a good value for the price.

Pictures on booking should't be edited, they should show the reality of the furniture and of the walls- it was clean but a little degraded / old. Dust should be cleaned up better. Another minor inconvenience might be the fact that in the rooms located next to the elevator you will hear a lot of noise when people are using it.

Hotel is centrally located, 2 minute walk to Edgar Quinnet station, 5 minute walk to Gare Montparnasse station, 10 minutes to Eiffel Tower. I loved the area, very safe, variety of restaurants to choose from. Friendly/warm poeple. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay, we even made friends on Rue Odessa pizza restaurant. I will definitely book this hotel again when Im in Paris. Staff on the hotel are very accomodating and helpful. Daisy at the front desk is such a sweet lady. Always ready to help.

Nothing. It exceeded my expectations.

The room was clean, comfy and not noisy at all (located on the back of the building). The staff was friendly during our stay and responded to our demand. The bed was big and confortable, the bathroom window was appreciated.

The room was not very well soundproofed-we could hear the stairs, the elevator, people coming and going from the inside of the building. The bed could be a bit more comfortable and the furniture could use a little renewal. Bathroom floor a bit slippery when wet and there was a step to get in the shower. Overall a good experience

Breakfast was quite ok. I was missing the fruits and maybe some nuts, but other than that it was great. The room was more than enough for 2 people and everything was functional. The kettle and the tea were one of the reasons why we chose the hotel. There is an air heater in the bathroom and that's absolutely amazing.

The ventilation of the room and the bathroom could be improved (not that is absent, but I like to feel it) and the elevator could move a little faster (not sure this is something bad during a vacation...). Coffee should be available BEFORE breakfast for those who wake up early. At 5:30 the hotel should have coffee available for those who bookes breakfast or those who are ready to pay for a cup. It can increase revenue... This is a must.

Very clean and the location is in the heart of Paris. I love how it is surrounded by restaurants of varied cuisine. Across the street there’s a very Thai restaurant . Also I want to give an applause to the staff who are friendly and helpful. Shout out to Daisy, she’s the best.

The breakfast was was good however, they served the same food for the 6 days I was there. Specifically the sausage links and the scrambled eggs. Although they have raw eggs to boil but meat to me should be varied each day.

Great location, lots of restaurants nearby and Montparnasse Tower with panoramic view on Paris. The room were spacey with separated bathroom and toilet. Beds are very comfortable and large enough. Breakfast is simple, but decent. Metro is is near that allows connection with all main city attractions. Not far from Paris Montparnasse train station where you can get a rental car if you plan to visit outside of Paris.

Some electrical sockets in our room were not reachable easily.

We stayed here in June 2023. The staff was very helpful! We got there ahead of check-in time, and they let us check-in a little early. They also stored our luggage on the last day. The room was clean and well appointed. The bed had a great mattress and we slept great. Plenty of comfortable pillows. It was a very hot week in Paris, and the air conditioning kept the room comfortable. Loved the location! Very close to a pharmacy, the subway, several patisseries, that were amazing, and a grocery store with fresh-squeezed orange juice. We would definitely stay here again!

There were no USB charging ports.

Antony and Daisy were excellent. They always had a smile and were very helpful. The location was good, right between Metro Lines 4 and 6 and a short walk to Gare du Montparnasse There was a farmers market nearby on Saturday. Lots of restaurants around and the area was very clean..

A refrigerator and microwave would have been a welcome addition.

Great location, not only well connected through metro but the area itself is also very nice with Jardin Luxembourg just a stone's throw away. I arrived early and was accommodated and given a room that was ready. Though it was probably the smallest they had, it saved me half a day and was well worth the sacrifice. The reception team is very helpful, professional and speak English fluently. I was able to borrow an iron for my room as well. All in all a great experience.
