Hotel des Bains is a lovely, small hotel in a wonderful neighborhood. Our room was fine for two people, and had big windows onto the street. There were many restaurants, cafes and bakeries in this location. The neighborhood has a spectacular farmer's market and the occasional flea market too. Metro stops are close by too. The neighborhood and surrounding area is great for walking with lots to see and do.

It got noisy there in the early am and then quieted back down.

Good sized room with great balcony. Location was nice n the middle of Montparnasse so you could easily travel to two metro stations, many restaurants and the Gare de Montparnasse. The great Musee Bourdell close by.

The staff at the check in were not welcoming and we're very surly. Door banging late at night. Walls very thin that you could hear a sneeze from the other room.

Good location right next to restaurants and metro stations. Cool little market on the weekend to look around for food and art

Room was a little small but functional. Ac did not work which was fine for when I stayed but could imagine it being difficult in hotter temps Was rather noisy at nights with motorbikes etc but was fine with earplugs I always carry when travelling

Excellent location right next to Metro with quick access to attractions and airport. Beds were comfortable and good large shower/bathroom. We only stayed 1 night so didn't even unpack but great to have the 2 adjoining rooms for the kids as well as I know space is a premium in Paris. Luggage storage no issues before check in and after check out. Staff very accommodating with that.

Toilet seat broken. Only socket on 1 side of bed. For the cost of the room, a minifridge to keep things cool would have been nice.

This hotel is ideally placed in Paris. Close to three separate metro lines. Line 4 6 and 12. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. We had a pretty our room but was moved the very next morning with no complaints from the management.

All was good. Though some noise due to renovation work going on next door to the property but this was around 8am in the morning whilst we were there and only on the morning we were leaving. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and would stay again as it's very good.

(1) the boss is very nice. When we got there, it was hot and humid (room temperature was 29C, but centre AC didn't turn on. Contacted to the boss, and he turned it on, we had very comfortable nights during staying there. Thanks! (2) location is good, many metro stations near by (especially Edgar and Vavin). there are Carrefour city and Franprix on the same street, we buy a lot of fruits there.

Room is a little smaller

Price was fair. There are many restaurants around of the hotel. The location is good, with two different subway lines near by the hotel.

The elevator is too small and fits only two person. If you have one big baggage probably you will need to use the elevator alone. The stairs are short and it is difficult to climb up with big baggages. The bathroom should be better looked after. There was a lot of moisture on the ceiling.

Was traveling solo for first time, hotel is perfect budget friendly given , safe location , its close to metro ( takes straight to Eiffel tower), beautiful bars restaurants all around many options to eat, montsparsnne tower is walkable , hotel is beautiful, aircondition, windows open. I want to specially thanks the staff who were super friendly and even went out of the way to help me when i was about to miss my bus.

Pretty decent for the two stars rating. Good location in a vibrant area of Paris with lots of bistros around. Close to a train station with trains to Versaille.

Lack of any basic hotel toiletries and the soap in the shower room run out but was not replaced.

Good breakfast for the value. Good location, near to the metro and nice to walk around.

Bed clothes a bit old, specially duvet covers. Rugs a bit old too. Shower wasn’t very isolated so the floor always got wet. The checkout time on booking.com said at 12h and when I went to checkout they said it should have been at 11h.
