Breakfast was OK - and compared to some french breakfasts in fact, it was very good. Room was very good, and it had small working space as well. Bed was comfortable, and cleaning faultless!

Paris is expensive town, and even more expensive with tourist tax - but it is not hotels fault...

Excellent location, clean and welcoming. Staff spoke English which helped my rusty French. Comfortable seating in the lobby and complimentary drinks / snacks available. We didn’t opt for breakfast so cannot comment there. Overall, great location - 25 minute walk to main shops, 35 minutes to Louvre, 20 minutes from Gard du Nord, fabulous. Bonus of a Boulangerie next door, fabulous pastries and welcoming staff too.

The only slight negative comment was about the air-conditioning unit running all the time, a background hum that some could find mildly irritating 1/2 in our room!

The room was small but comfy, large enough for all your stuff and the bathroom was nice. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Overall, the hotel left a charming impression. It's in a decent neighbourhood, very close to the Place de Republique, several metro stations and restaurants.

Getting to the hotel using the Chateau d'Eau metro station (as suggested by Google Maps) at night might not be the best idea, as it tends to be a bit scary for tourists with lots of suspicious looking people. The walls are a bit thin so other people in the hotel are easy to be heard, but it's not that big of a deal.

Double room a bit more spacious than expected, renovated up to good standards (modern charging plugs, Parisian mood pic, bathroom). Nice staff, I like to have a 24/24 reception like here. Valued the complimentary snacks area as well as the hot drinks in the room. Was lucky enough to have silent neighbours and courtyard side. Thank you! Already booked my next visit, 402 please ;).

Happened to be very warm in the room and I managed to switch off, all sorted. The corridors are very narrow and doors noisy but again, bless my silent neighbours this time.

Our stay was great! We only stayed for a night but would definitely book for more next time. The location is ideal for Paris; very close to the two main train stations and next to many metro lines (thanks to Republique). The room was comfortable, not the most spacious if you have a lot of luggage but great if you’re travelling with your cabin size bags. We were on the 5th floor and had our own little Parisian balcony with a street view which was perfect. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they also have a system when you leave your luggage before the check in and after the check out where they put numbered labels so no one can take your luggage.

There was a little stain in the sheets but we didn’t make a fuss because we only stayed for one night. It might have been a stain that cannot be removed, because the sheets were clearly washed. Just a note for the staff to be more careful, someone could have been very upset.

Thé room was bright and light with an impressive picture - bathroom with shower were fine. Excellent number of charging points and other sockets. Sufficient hooks and hangars for clothes. It was very welcoming to have drinks and pastries in the reception area and breakfast was fine. Great location with two metro lines nearby.

For two single beds each bed was rather narrow. It was difficult to regulate the temperature but it was nice and warm, almost too warm.

The bathroom shower, powerful, big and clean. The bed was large and comfortable, fresh air from a window. The welcome wine, drink and water was very nice touch.

Carpet in bedroom felt unclean, wooden floors are best. The noise from inconsiderate other customers late at night or early morning was annoying but it was a large group so understand their excitement to communicate. School kids screaming during the day was “ interesting” but that’s how kids are so didn’t really bother me as such as was out all day but for one afternoon. The coffee machine was broken and no instructions, The rooms should have their own kettle Night front desk man was curt and rude.

Decent place. Decent transportation.. It was the best location, facilities , budget location we could find..

Area is not very friendly.. in fact, while they claim its a safe area and nothing bad happened to us, they keep the hotel door closed 24/7... Around there are many places where people stay all day in front of stores or shops and aproach you with different proposals. We just said no and walk away, but did not enjoy the experience. Also, walls of the room had some infiltration. Main problem was that at 5 AM the guy in the room next to us decided to have a call. The walls were so badly isolated that we couls also hear the guy our neighboor was talking to 🤦😁

The balcony of our room on the 5th floor provided us with a place to enjoy breakfast in the morning and a bottle of wine in the eveving.

A bit pricey/expensive. Mediocre bread and pastries at breakfast.

We arrived here after fleelng a disgusting Airbnb. The hotel had everything we were looking for - clean sheets, comfortable beds and kind staff. The bathroom was spotless. We had 2 rooms. The one facing the street scored extra charm points The canal district neighborhood is greatt, super convenient to République metro or a nice walk to the Marais. Skip hotel breakfast and find one of the great brunch restaurants nearby (Immersion). Du Pain et Des Idees and the boulager on the corner of Rue Lucien Sampaix are among the best in Paris.

This is a typical 3 star hotel.
