- The location is very good, on a quiet street, near the police station, so it is also safe, also really close to the canal and nice restaurants; - the room is cozy and clean, although a bit small, but this is standard for Paris; - you have a lot of place in the studio if you want to work; - very good soundproofing, even though you still hear noise from neighboring rooms from time to time.

- breakfast was really poor (one type of cheese, one type of ham, some scrambled eggs that were tasting awful and pastries that would finish very quick, so you pay 17 euros per person for almost nothing. Instead of paying for breakfast, I suggest checking nearby restaurants (1-2 mins of walking) because they all offer breakfast and brunches; - the older lady in the restaurant was constantly irritated; - weird smell in the corridors.

Superb breakfast - amazing choice and eat as much as you like ! Convenient location in the 10th Arondissment not far from Gare du Nord and the canal area to the east with a wide choice of bars and restaurants. Walking distance to Place de la Republique and access to Metro . It was cheaper than an hotel we had originally booked and much nicer - also the original had reduced its prices and we would have ended up paying £150 more for booking ahead !! We stayed an extra night at Le Grand Quartier we liked it so much .

On departure we had to go out to the main road to get a taxi

The location was good, very handy for Metro stops and there was a great little restaurant around the corner, which the check-in agent recommended after we arrived quite late. The food was excellent there. Breakfast at the hotel was really nice too. Decent coffee and lovely pastries. Great cheeses too - as you might expect from Paris!

We weren't told at check-in that the air conditioning wasn't working in the hotel, and it was super-hot. We asked for a fan for our room, which was provided quickly, although it wasn't ideal. Service at the bar was a little slow in the evening - we tried on two evenings to get drinks, but the bar staff hadn't arrived and we had to wait for them to open after the advertised opening time.

Room was good, shower excellent, bed comfortable. It's an artist loft decor, nice but a slanted drawing board 2' long was totally unnecessary and took up horizontal space that could've been better used for unpacking.

The breakfast buffet was mediocre. I was disappointed that they used a Keurig for coffee--in Paris!

We had never stayed in that area of Paris before however it was very convenient due to being near Gare due Nord (we got the Eurostar there). It wasn't a very touristy area but it was very easy to get to all the touristy areas of Paris that we wanted to visit! The bed was SO COMFY and the room was lovely light and spacious (despite being called a cosy room)! Had everything we needed during the stay and we had an amazing trip!

There were some ants in our room (maybe due to it being hot and the window being open) however this wasn't a big issue for us as there wasn't many! It was also a little too hot in the room for us personally however we are used to sleeping in really cold rooms and I think this is more of a cultural thing - the hotel kindly gave us a fan to use for the duration of our stay and this fixed it!

Room was pretty newly renovated and both the room and the bathroom were clean. Bed was the best hotelbed we've ever had! Also towels were big and soft. It was quiet at night times. The staff at the hotel was friendly, glad and helpful. The city center was on the walking distance, only ~2 km. Metro stations were just 200 m away and Gare du Nord only 1 km away.

Air condition was on the heating mode, so it wasn't possible to cool down the room. It was pretty warm, but luckily the windows could be opened, it helped. Mini-fridge was warm, but the staff gave us a tip to take it out from the closet to get it cooler. 😉 The surroundings were a bit restless, but we still felt safe there.

This is a fantastic hotel - we've stayed before and will do again when we're next in Paris. Its only 10 mins walk from the Eurostar/Gare du Nord which is so handy for travelling. It's in a really nice area, close to restaurants and 20 mins walk to the Pompidou/le Marais etc. The rooms and bathrooms are beautifully designed - the nicest bed, pillows, lovely big windows, great shower and a bonus to have free branded toiletries, water and tea/coffee. And it looks great - a nice design hotel around a central courtyard.

The design of the hotel and the rooms is very cute and quirky. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area in which the hotel was located was also very vibrant.

There seemed to be a problem with the air conditioning in our room. We weren’t able to cool the room down and as a result we had a very uncomfortable night’s sleep. As we were only staying one night and we had to get up early the next day to get to the airport we didn’t report this, but this did negatively impact our stay.

Great location. Nice and quiet but in close proximity to lots of restaurants. Excellent bed and pillows. Very clean room. Quality tea in the room is much appreciated. The hotel's courtyard and lobby area are a great place to have breakfast. We went on one of the most expensive weekends due to the Fashion Week and Rugby World Cup but the price was still very competitive for Paris standard. Highlt recommend.

The room was spacious, lovely and clean with lots of toiletries & coffee machine. The bathroom and shower were great. The room was quiet. The location was near to metro and the lovely canal saint martin area. Friendly staff and great facilities at the hotel.

The surrounding area feels a bit sketchy at first but it was not as bad as it first seemed and everyone keeps to themselves.
