Ile St. Louis is an isle of relax just a short walk from either La Marais or St. Germain or the still closed Notre Dame. Full with small cafes and cute restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and other shops. The Hotel is beautifully decorated in all public areas, with subdued lighting and old wooden beams, a fireplace, a library, tapestry, Our room (standard double) was roomier than most Parisian offers, cute and cozy and so non-standard. Bathroom (with towel heater) and toilet are separated

Breakfast (we tried it once) is a buffet with limited but tasty offers. Much overpriced.

The location of this hotel is excellent and very easy to reach by Metro from Eurostar-Gare du Nord. The welcome was warm and professional. Nice to have your luggage taken to the room. Breakfast was very good with fabulous cheese. The building is quirky as it was once, a long time ago, a royal indoor tennis court. It is a great blend of old and new--and say hello to Citron the dog if she's about. Staff were excellent and made very good recommendations for restaurants--all of which were just a very short walk from hotel. It is a great base for exploring Paris.

We ate breakfast elsewhere since we love to people watch. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of both the right and left bank. Close to batobus stations which we used all the time. The island is a hidden gem. This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this location which is worth every cent. We save both time, money and grime by avoiding the metro and being on the river every day. Bliss!

We loved the hotel and it’s lovely historic feel. There was nothing we didn’t like. We loved our two external windows that opened. We could sit in one and picnic if we didn’t feel like eating out. The tiny local Boulanger is in the street is fabulous. Cash only.

Indeed one of the best hotels you can stay in in Paris. The location in Île Saint-Louis is dream like. You walk out to the river (2 mins) along a gorgeous old quarter with cheese shops, artisans, art galleries and more (there is a still life gallery next to the hotel with the paintings looking extra beautiful in the night light). You cross the river one way to the Marais and the river another way to the Latin Quarter. The interiors are artsy and eclectic and the rooms have a Parisian nostalgia to them (it's also very quiet and I'm a light sleeper). Overall, an incredibly memorable hotel.

I had such a good time staying at this hotel. Everyone who works there was genuinely concerned about my comfort. They are people I would like to know as friends. The decor and design of the building is marvelous, a perfect combination of history and modern amenities. The room was comfortable, classy and felt like home. Having a dog on staff helped - very low-key, yet a nice touch for a weary traveler. The location of the hotel was perfect for my visit. The Ile is charming and accessible.

Such a unique and special hotel with a wonderful, welcoming staff, comfortable beds, a perfect location for exploring Paris. We had three rooms for our family and each was very well laid out, attractive and unique. You can leave your room and be immersed in multiple national monuments,lively cafes, fabulous restaurants are just feet away. This place is a gem.

Location is good situated on the island and convenient for all tourist spots whether heading to St Germain or the Marais or just enjoying the local bars and restaurants. staff are very helpful and converse in both French or English.

Rooms 1-5 open direct into the bar/breakfast area which could be noisy. we had one of the garden duplex’s which are beyond the courtyard corridor. these are nice but the lower room feels like it is not really used and only the bedroom area above is air conditioned. facilities all very clean and good range of toiletries and comfortable beds. yea/coffee making facilities provided as is a stocked fridge/bar but has no room for personal items.

The location was great,near to Notre Dame and the Left Bank.The interior was stunning and our room was comfortable with every amenity.We slept well each night.There were plenty of power points and a great courtesy tray.The room was a short distance from the main vestibule so was quiet.Staff were so helpful and polite

Bath was a little on the small side if you were quite tall

Great hotel on the Ile de Louis - building is historically impressive and the rooms very clean and comfortable, staff super friendly and all in a lovely stay. While the hotel may be basic to some (not really a bar as such, breakfast only etc) it is the location you are paying for - the Ile de Louis is its own little bit of Paris, away from the bustle and super central with great restaurants on your door step. Would easily come back here.

île Saint Louis is a fabulous location. Easy walking distance to so much that Paris has to offer, plus the island itself is a wonderful place to walk and eat and shop. Staff also arranged for a room service dinner on my first night when I was extremely tired. Made me feel welcomed.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The drain in the shower was slow. And the breakfast was only so-so, especially for the cost. There are options in the area.
