The room

I arrived at the hotel before the check in time. The room was not ready, which is perfectly acceptable but reception could not tell me at what time the room would be ready which was very disappointing. They didn’t bother call housekeeping or make an effort knowing that it would have been very helping to me. Instead, all they could say is that they will send me a message when the room will be ready.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is awesome. Irina, the maître, welcomed us every morning with a smile and our favorite coffee. Marcus, the bellhop, was super attentive all the time and very helpful. Location was great, walking distance from the subway and other tourist locations. The room is quite small, but it is ok for Europe standards. They offer all the amenities of a 5-star hotel, and everything worked fine.

The sofa bed was really uncomfortable to sleep and accommodate only 1 child. Room temperature was a bit hot, we believe the air conditioning wasn’t working.

Partly very attentive (Ms Gosselin; the Gentleman doing the Valet service) - partly could be a little better.

In particular for a 5* charging >600€/night would expect immediate luggage service outside.

The location of the hotel was exactly where we wanted to be, surrounded by facilities such as restaurants, bars, shops and access to other areas of Paris, either walking or by Metro. By walking you see how the French people live.

Nothing really. We have been going to Paris for many years now and we love the ways of French people. They have the attitude of live and let live and are no trouble at all. Everyone we meet wants to speak English because it means a better employment.

Our stay at Hyatt Paris Madeleine was nothing short of fantastic. Situated just a short walk or drive away from Paris's iconic landmarks, it provided the perfect balance of accessibility and tranquility. The concierge service was exceptional, offering invaluable recommendations and assistance to make our visit truly memorable. The surrounding area was a culinary paradise, with a plethora of wonderful restaurants to choose from, catering to every palate. Despite its central location, the hotel itself exuded a peaceful ambiance, allowing us to unwind after a day of exploring the city. Our room was comfortable, well-appointed, and offered a serene retreat amidst the bustling city. Overall, the Hyatt Paris Madeleine exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

nice staff and good location.

The interior design is shake N Elegant, although maintenance work may be needed for some rooms. for example our bathroom doorframe was worn out because of the persistent spilling water from the standing shower.

main issue I have with this Hyatt is the room design, decor and atmosphere. I’ve stayed at many Hyatt across the globe and this one just leaves something to be desired when you walk into the room. room is boxy with little interior design flare. furniture seems old and dated. bathroom seems more like walking into hospital vs relaxing modern vibe. Everything just off and needs to be completely re-done from my perspective. I’ve stayed here twice now and impression the same.

Room was very comfortable, still big enough to stay with 2 small kids (they slept in a bed sofa). Breakfast was very complete, with tasty food and very pleasant and willing people, trying to make sure we had everything we wanted. Remaining common facilities of the hotel were also very comfortable

It's not something bad, but a possibility to allow guests to go the Gym or Complete spa nearby (as hotel does not have it), would be good. Other then this, our stay was very good

I highly recommend this hotel. It's a perfect combination of quality and money. The location is great - Place Vandome or Gallery Lafayette is only a 10-minute walk. Wonderful breakfast that can be served to your table, nice free glass of wine in the evening by the fireplace makes you feel welcome in this hotel. Excellent stuff, always ready to help and advise. Gourmet restaurant makes your dinner very nice

Our standard room was very tiny. And the bathroom needs renovation

Really loved this beautiful hotel especially the rom which was super spacious, clean and comfortable Also loved the daily apero! the staff is super nice and friendly :) the location couldnt have been better i would definitely stay again there whenever in Paris!

Minor detail as i believe this happened by mistake; we ordered room service twice, and one of those times we ordered the Jambon platter which was literally 3 small slices of ham without bread / butter / cornichons or anything (and it was 15 euros if i remember correctly)
