This is a great hotel offering comfortable facilities and services. In particular, the receptionist, Rafael, is very competent and and friendly. He responded promptly to our requests and explained exactly what we needed to do when we had questions. I am very grateful to him for making my stay so pleasant. The rooms and the entire hotel is clean and modern. Many of the rooms have bathtubs, perfect for relaxing after a long trip, and the amenities are perfect. The hotel is conveniently located whether you are using Gare de Lyon as a base to travel to another city or to explore central Paris.

The hotel mention airconditioning, but when we get there, they said no aircon, because it was Spring and it will be cold enough at night. Coming from tropical Asia, we demanded aircon. The room has window that can be opened, but it was covered with white paper because there's construction outside. Again, we complaint. After a few arguments the lady in the receptionist offered a higher bedroom upgraded to double room so we can open our window. And it was okay for us. They accommodate our request very well.

As I am often in the situation of having to take a TGV home to the South early in the morning, after a business stay in Paris region, Mercure Paris Gare de Lyon is always like coming home. Its unique location, right next to the Gare de Lyon, ensures that nothing can go wrong between getting up, having breakfast and catching the train. Moreover, rooms are small but comfortable, and breakfast is hearty. The hotel doesn't have a dinner restaurant but that is not a concern : the Gare de Lyon station square is surrounded by plenty of decent restaurants.

The only thing that could be better is the price. The hotel's unique location has a price ticket.

the location Is amazing next to Gare De Lyon, the main station that connect Paris and have direct train to Disneyland. the room size is ok for Paris, it can feet only two people. the bed where comfy. for security, only you can use the elevator by using room card, which is great. the people at the reception are great and helpful, however felt they need more staff at the reception withy such big and busy hotel.

the house keeping need an upgrade, they skip to clean corners or under bed, they are trying but i think they are understaff for the number of rooms. but they do clean the toilet and bath very well and replace the towels and the clean the bed daily.

The cleanliness of the hotel is very good. But the room space is very small as in very small that you can’t event moved already. The location is very accessible for everything. Before we reach in Paris we had a plan to take bus on and bus off but when we get there we changed because it’s all accessible metro to metro and from metro to your destination is just walking distance.

Location awesome for connecting TGV

It was critical to be able to store the suitcases to the TGV departure on check out date, check in staff said no problem and morning staff said we could not unless we were members. In the end all was fine but it caused some unnecessary discomfort (we attended an Olympic event last day and the secure storage of bags in the day was the most important, we picked the hotel for this). I have stayed with the hotel before and never heard anything like this (in any hotel in the world)

Room was large enough and had USB plugs, breakfast was good, and the co-working space was excellent, I used it one morning. Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is very comfortably located if you have a train at Gare de Lyon, and it is a nice neighbourhood, nearby you'll find a wonderful market, good local shops and artisan galleries and workshops, and good bistros, too - all just a few steps off the beaten track and the busy square. Plus metro lines to the rest of the just outside the door.

They could give hotel guests a discount at the co-working space, it is a bit expensive if you only use it for a few hours. it includes coffee and water, but you also have free coffee and water in the room. The shower screen is stylish glass, but it is almost impossible to take a shower without flooding the bathroom.

The room and bathroom are on the small side, but the comfort is surely up to Mercure standards. And so are breakfast and reception. The main trump card of this hotel is its exceptional location, right next to Paris's Gare de Lyon, which makes it the perfect overnight hotel to take the morning TGV to the South of France.

The room is a bit small for the price paid. The hotel doesn't have a dinner restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood, at walking distance.

We stayed 2 nights and chose this for the location next to the Gare de Lyon as we were catching a train to Annecy early morning. If you venture out towards the Bastille there are plenty of bars and cafes with a lovely vibe and you can walk to the Ile de Cite and all the attractions very easily.

Great hotel that met expectations about regular new age hotel with normal wide selection breakfast. It was clean and there was great scent around public facilities of the hotel. Hotel was easy reachable with metro from different sightseeing spots, so this is a great choice if you want to stay a bit away from the center, but enjoy great comfort and non-typical breakfast for Paris. Staff was also very nice and welcoming!
