Excellent location. This recently renovated, nicely decorated, clean hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the Gare de Lyon. My 6th floor room overlooking the side street was quiet, had no street noise, and had a charming French balcony. The bed was comfortable. There is an excellent French restaurant nearby that is a great value for money and that the locals go to: Le Bistro Lyonnais, 6 rue Michel Chasles 75012 Paris. The hotel breakfast cost 15 Euros, was convenient & had a good selection (fresh baguette, croissants, pain au chocolate, expresso/cappucino machine, fruit, yogurt, cheese, eggs, cold cuts, etc.). I would stay there again.

The room and bathroom were extremely small but this is typical for Paris. I had a small single room on the 6th floor (top floor). The room was tiny but I only used it for sleeping, so it was OK for me for a 3 day stay. The bathroom was extremely cramped. For taller persons and those needing more bathroom space, I recommend requesting a room with a larger bathroom.

The cleanliness of the toom , comfortable bed & pillows , the breakfast especially thd croissant , butter & coffee , and the location of the hotel so near to Gare de Lyon .

The bath is so nartow , although I sm not tall it was not easy to sit stable on the toilette , sitting by my side , the tub was so small the all the water falls on the floor while washing my face, the design of the bath is so weired, the most annoying point is the € 80 when I arrived as extra value over the booking as a guarantee not to steel something from the room or don’t abide by the hotel rules ! Which was not declared while I was booking in that hotel as it was non- refundable booking , the person in the reception told me I csn cancel the booking now & he will accept the cancellation for free which was not easy for me to search for another hotel at 10 oclock pm with heavy big two bags ! Non - welcoming non- presentable hotel staff even in the breakfast room !

I arrived late in Paris and needed a hotel near Gare de Lyon train station for an early start the next day. Hotel Palym was perfect for a number of reasons. Location is an easy walk of a few hundred yards to the station. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room, although small, was spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. Wifi worked fine and there was a large TV (although I didn't use it). The bathroom was clean with soap supplied and a very nice shower. I was concerned that being on the ground floor it would be noisy, but not at all. I left before 7 and so did not have the breakfast, but the dining area looked nice.

Nothing of substance. Some might find the room small, particularly for a long stay, but it was fine for me and other rooms may be bigger.

Location minutes on foot from Gaurd de Lyon station. Ideal form Metro and RER. Nice seating area in lobby (closes at 10pm). Water and pastries there on arrival nice touch. We were upgraded to the larger double which was v.big. Great bed and a good nights sleep. Double my sister had was a good size too. Nicely decorated. Clean and tidy. Reception staff were excellent. Very helpful. Aircon was quiet and worked great. Small balcony onto the street. Quiet outside. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Some shops nearby

Handing key in when out of room but a small point and understand the cost of replacing. Bathrooms are tight but great showers and nicely decorated again a small point. No kettle for tea and coffee but €3 for one made in the breakfast room wasn’t too bad.

I like the position of the hotel, very handy to gare de Lyon, the area is nice and the street is quiet. The rooms are smallish but very comfortable, just renovated, perfect. Staff were nice and helpful. Good value for money in Paris.. Very conveniently located to a Brasserie called l'Européen which I highly recommend for its atmosphere, style, not to mention the food, good value for money, go for the 40 euros set menu,aperitif included and good wine with dinner, incredible. Art deco style. Enjoy Paris.

There was absolutely nothing I did not like.

The room was clean, modern and with functioning aircondition and temperature control. Perfect for a couple. Could not hear much noise from outside, which was surprising as it is right next to the train station. Staff were nice and welcoming. Great location near Gare de Lyon. Good value for the price.

Some may have accessibility issues in the smallest rooms, especially the bathroom. We chose the cheapest, and it worked fine for a couple with not a lot of luggage, but something to consider when choosing the room.

I had a stay for one night, probably for this i got not the best situated room in the first floor , windows to the back side , when opening the windows i saw and hear and feel all the air from the big aircondition from the hotel, so i let the windows closed. Rooms and bath extremly small, good for 1 or 2 nights. Breakfast a little to expensive( i had it in my room)

Great location near the train station. Room was comfortable and quiet even though there are busy streets nearby. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage till check in. Would stay here again when we visit Paris.

Had to leave our room key with the front desk each time we left the hotel. Not a big deal but not really a fan of doing it that way.

We loved the location of the hotel. Next door to the Gare de Lyon station. Cleanliness was great. Staff was very friendly. Room was very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Not a huge deal, but I didn't like having to turn in my room card every time we left the hotel. The elevator was very small and slow. The bathroom was very small but adequate. Breakfast was a little expensive for what was offered.
