This is a very nice hotel. Of course, small room, but well-fitted. They put me in a different room when I commented on the elevator noise, very nice staff.

Room with some view, not the inner windows.Very comfortable hotel, but room was a bit too tiny for my taste. Would have liked enough space for a real chair (there was a boudoir chair and a very cheap desk chair. But for central Paris, very quiet, nice bed.

The hotel is in a somewhat quiet neighborhood, even though Bon Marche is right down the street, there are no other touristy attractions close by, so you get the sense of a real Parisian neighborhood. There is an excellent bakery right next door, we were able to do a take away pizza across the street and tons of other little bakeries, coffee shops and markets right on the same block or a very short walking distance. Although not walking distance to many of the tourist attractions, except for the Jardin de Luxembourg, the bus and Metro can take you to all the different parts of Paris very easily. There is a public bus close by that takes you directly to and from the Eiffel tower. I also liked the fact that the hotel was tastefully decorated. I find so many hotels in Paris have really garish décor, but the lobby and the rooms were decorated with an elevated décor. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I did have one strange encounter with one of the front desk people. My husband left a day earlier than me and then I walked back in the front desk man looked at me strangely. The maid was cleaning my room and I was working in the lobby and he finally came up to me asking if I had checked out. I told him no, I have a reservation for one more night. He thought I had left with my husband. It turns out that in Paris or maybe all of France, you are taxed per person per night, so he had to make sure that I was taxed for only one person that last night. Wish it had been explained from the beginning before the random questioning, but good to know for future stays in France!

Pillows could be a little more comfortable, but I find in France, hotel pillows are generally very uncomfortable.

The location is comfortably located in a neighborhood with many popular shops, patisseries, and picturesque Parisian cafés. We left the window open at night and were able to sleep without too much noise from the street. The room itself was comfortable, more spacious than I expected in Paris, and we even had a bathtub!

The coffee machine in the room was not clean. We wanted to use it to boil water for tea, but we couldn’t clean it. We also noticed that the water they provided in the room was not a fresh bottle, but rather a bottle that they refill every time. I understand if they wanted to be environmentally friendly, but it’s not sanitary.

A lovely boutique hotel in a quiet area of St Placide. While not the most exciting area, the lack of sirens and crowds that can be found elsewhere in Paris was very nice. Location near Le Grande Epicure was very nice. The Prestige rooms are very comfortable offering more space than what you might normally find in Paris. The AC was very nice and worked well and the staff at the front desk were always very friendly and helpful. The metro stations were not far and a Bolt to Montparnasse station cost about 12 euros on a very rainy morning. I'd stay again.

It's less about what you don't like as much as knowing what to expect in Paris. Spaces are tight including elevators, bathrooms, corridors, and stairwells.

The location of the hotel was great. The attractions were walkable, if you like walking, otherwise using the metro was very easy to access nearby the hotel. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. The room was a bit on the small side and bathroom was small but adequate. Had everything you would need in a room and bathroom.

The tap didn't quite reach into the basin as plumbed in behind the wall, so water would go everywhere. The hairdryer is not great if you have very thick hair to dry. It kept cutting out, so ended up with damp hair!

The greeting when we arrived was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a lovely location with wonderful food shops and restaurants close by. It’s well connected and you can walk to a number of the tourist attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. It had everything we needed for a weekend city break!

Unfortunately our Eurostar train was cancelled 24hrs before we were due to travel and so we couldn’t come the day we had planned. We arrived a day later, we asked if we could cancel the first night but this was denied. I understand this decision due to it being so late notice however this was disappointing.

The location is great, would definitely stay here again. Very clean rooms. Rooms are compact but great if you are travelling alone or as a couple. Very comfortable bed. Peaceful place, not a lot of traffic noise.

Breakfast is good, but not the best for people with food restrictions. Maybe more gluten free or vegan options would be great.

Very nice hotel, well decorated and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We checked in quite late at night and there were no issues at all. The neighbourhood it is in is very nice. Lots of good cafes and restaurants near by, and very easy to get to sights on foot

The room is not big (Paris style) and the bathroom is very small, but it wasn't an issue since we were out most of the day. It would be great if the water was complementary for the whole stay, rather than capped at 2 bottles.

Hotel location was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was quite small but well appointed and you sort of expect smaller rooms in city centre hotels. Free water and wifi was a nice touch.

As mentioned the room size was pretty small which made moving around a bit tricky for 2 people. There was free water but you had to keep taking the bottle from your room to Reception to get it topped up - which they were really willing to do. It would be better to have stations where guests could just help themselves. When we checked out the lady on Reception was inexperienced and got the bills for both rooms quite wrong, we pointed it out and it was not problem amending but you need to be aware.

The location was near the metro and walking distance to eat, shop and enjoy the neighborhood with a flea market pop up and open air food market. The hotel smells wonderful and the staff make you feel at home .

The rooms are very small as usual for European rooms, and could be noisy outside certain times of day. I felt the breakfast option is expensive and is comparable to the free breakfast buffets in American hotels .
