This is a fabulous hotel just a minute's walk from the main square of Sarlat. Our room was at the top in the eaves but it was very modern and roomy and had aircon (which was very welcome as it was hot in the room). The bed was very comfortable, nice clean bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities and quiet. We had reserved a car parking space with the hotel which was located about a 5 minute walk away but it was secure and you could only enter with a code so the car was very safe. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The price of the breakfast was a bit steep at 17 euros PP, so we did not bother with that option.

Excellent location just a couple of minutes to the main square. Restaurant is very popular and food is very good. We had a spacious, comfortable room overlooking the front of the hotel. The hotel is made up of some very old buildings with a lot of history, it was interesting to stay somewhere which played a part in Sarlat's history. Whilst there is some space to park to drop luggage off, the hotel does have some spaces available in a secure car park about 300 metres away, do book ahead if needed. It is easy to walk to, but if driving back to the hotel, use a sat nav as there are lots of no entries/ one way streets, which are even worse on Saturday market day.

Nothing to dislike

The check-in process was easy and the front desk staff was very helpful and spoke good English. The room was charming and full of character. We were provided a fan because the first two days were very warm. We loved the breakfast and had dinner in the restaurant one night, which was excellent. The location was fantastic and we could easily walk to the free parking lot and to the shops and restaurants in the center of town.

The room was on the top floor wan it was 80 degrees F upon arrival. The room felt like a sauna and there was no AC. We were provided a fan, which was helpful, but we would have preferred a different room. We asked for a room on a lower floor not only because of the temperature in the room, but also because my husband is 6'2" tall and the slanted ceilings made it hard for him to stand in much of the room. Given the combination of these two factors, it would have been nice to have been moved, even if we had to move back later in our stay.

The hotel is located very close to the heart of Sarlat, but isn't at all noisy. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was lovely. Parking was very easy nearby (for a small charge depending on hours) and the hotel explained options for parking very effectively. Breakfast was great!

The room was very small. I considered asking for a larger room but in the end it was clean, comfy and did have sufficient space for 2 and our bags.

Hotel is ideal for car travelers - can be reached by car and has large parking nearby. At the same time it's located at the beginning of small old street leading to the very city center. Room was clean and good size. We have room on the ground floor, which didn't have proper windows, but instead had small front patio with a small table.

Like other travelers noted there was garbage collection noise which woke us up early morning.

Ideal location. Nestled just on the outer edge of the historic medieval town, it's a very easy 2 - 3 min walk to the center with all the cafés, restaurants and shops. Our room was charming, although a bit small, and comfortable even without air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent.

We needed a fan for air flow since there isn't any air conditioning, however the screen guard around the standup fan in the room was broken.

The hotel is situation almost in the centre of the town. Everything was within walking distance. The room was comfortable and compact but we only slept there so it wasn’t an issue

There was nothing we didn’t like. We had no noise from other rooms which was good. One small criticism was the shower screen wasn’t long enough but there was nothing that can be done about that.

Very smart and comfortable hotel with a good breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable, and the black out curtains made for a great nights sleep. It’s a two minute walk into the centre of Sarlat so away from the noise but so close to the action. Plenty of parking on the street around, or there is a free parking lot just up the hill. Perfect.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the location to the centre of town was excellent, only a short walk into the centre and using their private car parking was invaluable,

Due to the heat the room was very warm, but the hotel had sup[plier a fan which helped, but Air Con would be better.

The location is superb . The room was spacious . Historic building.

Can hear some street noise as bottle bins located nearby the front entrance and people walking late at night. The staff when we arrived queried we had a family room booked which caused some anxiety. He also criticised booking.com and said bookings often do not come through correctly. Not a great welcome.
