This was a clean and very comfortable stay in a well-located apartment, one of several in a complex. The pool was small but enjoyable to use. Our room faced a "garden" or courtyard overlooking the pool area. This was a lot nicer than those facing the road. The place is generally very good but is badly let down by having no staff on site when you arrive. Location good for Elbe, next to National Park Centre, near local shops and a Lidl, easily walkable to ferry to station, historic elevator, Toscana Therme...

Check in procedure!! We had not realised a code would be issued. This had arrived by email that morning and we had no connection so hadn't received it. Had to go to Tourist Information where they helped us to get connection ("Bad Schandau" is free). Having found the code we got into the locker with the keycard but then couldn't open the main door! It turns out there is a button to the right of the door and you have to hold the keycard against it to get in. It's not labelled and it's not at all obvious, being small and set back away from the door. Five other people were having similar issues so it was not just us!! Only one keycard for the room, which makes it tricky if you want to do different things.

Very nice and spacious room, rich breakfast, central location of accommodation, friendly staff etc. - everything was OK. We very much appreciated the guest card, which could be used for public transport, including the historic tram and which was included in the price.

Even though there were home-made jams and local honey, I was missing a sweet breakfast - a piece of cake or something like that.

We stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment which easily quite spacious, it was clean, well equipped and the location very central. Also a very convenient parking There is no reception and all communication was done via booking/email

The upstairs bedroom has a very steep stairs which was a bit scary for small children therefore we all had to sleep in the same bedroom.

Everything here went great! The staff was so friendly when we asked if we could leave our luggage there early to go hiking, and they sent our luggage straight to our room. We got upgraded to a beautiful 2 bed room apartment which was very well equipped and comfy. The check-in was very smooth and the breakfast was so great. All in all, really recommend!

The apartments are situated at a great location in the middle of Bad Schandau which is great for discovering the many gems of Saxony. The children enjoyed the plunge pool and the sauna was lovely. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Our apartment had no balcony or outside space and only one bathroom between 5 of us which I wasn’t expecting.

Our stay was great: beds are comfortable, apartment is nicely cut and clean, location is good and parking is very convenient. Breakfast was tasty too.

WiFi is not very reliable (we first had trouble connecting because the hotel was at full capacity, and then it was slower than usual)

Poor parking for bicycles as it was very difficult to find place to securely lock them. Staff was quite rude about options. They need a bike lock up room or at least some racks that are fastened to floor or walls in parking garage.

the property was amazing, very clean and modern. the rooms are huge, and you have a terrace or balcony space which was amazing. there’s a sauna for when you arrive back from your hikes, and the breakfast is so good 🥰, and the staff are amazing. honestly, cannot wait to come back

We stayed in 3-bedroom apartment with kitchen. the apartment was very clean, cosy and comfortable. Kitchen was equipped with the dishwasher. The breakfast was good and nourishing. The location of the hotel is just perfect to explore this part of Saxon Switzerland - 10 min. to walk to the tram that brings you to Lichtenhainer Wasserfall and a road to Kuhstall, 5 min to walk to Toskana Therme, 5 min to walk to ferry station.

Lack of equipment in the kitchen: - neither oven nor microwave. We were specifically looking for a hotel with a good equipped kitchen because of kids and were unpleasantly surprised. - no normal knife, only a bread knife The heating didn’t function in 2 of 3 bedrooms. Maybe because the temperature outside was not cold enough. The selection of wurst for breakfast could be better.

A very large room with balcony, walk-in shower, mini fridge and very good beds. Outside there is a shared sauna and swimming pool. Booked with a end-of-season discount, which made it terrific value for money. Key card was stored in a coded locker, so no reception or check-in deadlines.
