The staff were very helpful, and the location was great for sightseeing and for being close to the picturesque canals and parks. The facilities were good and there was free luggage storage, which was a great help to us on our last day.
We missed not having a kettle and hot drink-making facilities in the apartment, and for us oldsters, the beds could have been a bit firmer. There was also some noise outside late at night, although none of this was significant enough to not stay there again. It is largely aimed at young backpackers and students, and caters to them well.

There are lots of things to do in the lobby area. The location is easy to find as well. We stayed in a private room and it was very clean. The room was a bit small, but it's priced fairly for Berlin and the cleaning staff are wonderful. Within walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. Close to U-bahn and S-Bahn. The street can be a bit loud, but it's a huge city, it's expected. I'd recommend it to people staying in Berlin, and I would visit again.
Not a huge deal, I just want to let other people know- private rooms didn't come with a kettle or a mini fridge. I think there is a shared kitchen, but the buildings are quite big, and I probably wouldn't want to carry tea or coffee all the way back to my room.

My friends and I booked two private twin rooms to extend our stay in Berlin, having been at a different hotel before. We weren't looking for too many amenities, so the hostel made sense. What we liked: - Affordable rooms - Self check-in and out - Lots of vending machines and facilities in the reception area, including the luggage lockers which were a godsend - Great location
What could've been better: - Cleanliness (the sheets and towels were clean, but one of our two rooms could've done with a deeper vacuum) - Bathroom size (drying yourself off after a shower without hurting yourself can be tricky) - Soundproofing (it didn't get too loud at night but during the day you could hear different floors, and in the corridor I could overhear conversations taking place inside the rooms, which isn't great) - There were only thick blackout curtains in the room, would've been nice to have some lighter ones that let in some sunlight

Location was great, bed super comfortable, outside space to sit, coffee machine always available, happy hour, it was generally quiet but we also got back really late. Security had the teenagers mostly under control.
Bathroom super small, and we were friends of mixed gender so not exactly ideal to try and get changed in the bathroom. Also the shower didn’t drain really so it turned into a bathtub. Staff confused about happy hour. Card only at reception but cash only at the bar?! Doesn’t make any sense. Sometimes the bar staff were just nowhere to be found.

The room was very clean. Breakfast is very good and varied. The beds are also comfortable. What I liked the most was the crowd and fun in the evenings in the lobby, bar, coffee and snack machines, football screen, you didn't feel alone. And all this not only for young people, but for people of all ages. 15 minutes by foot is the famous east side wall with its famous wall painting. I am happy to recommend it
It is a bit far from the center, 25 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz. But this is not a problem either, because there are many transports nearby and also the station from the airport is a 10-minute walk away

This is a place for travellers who need a comfy bed and a shower. The hotel is walking distance from Berlin Ostbahnhof, East Side Gallery and also the Museumsinsel (this is a longer walk, about 25min). The staff is super friendly and helpful. Even though most guests we've seen were (very) young, the nights were quiet, everyone met with respect, I can only recommend it. Good value for the price.
Could be better connected by public transport, but it is still manageable, even with a kid.

Good location, the other side of the Spree from the East Side Gallery and the Ostbahnhof station (direct to/from the airport). A few minutes from Heinrich-Heine-Strasse U-Bahn station, a couple of stops to Alexanderplatz. The bar is open till 4am serving drinks and snacks, which is handy if you arrive late. A 0.5L draft Pilsner was less than 4 euros, so great value too. We requested a quiet room and it was nice and peaceful. I get the impression other blocks/floors are quite noisy though.
It's a very busy place with lots of teen groups milling and lolloping about blocking every entranceway they can. The twin room was super-compact: much smaller than the example room in the pics. Clothes storage could be improved: just two hangers and two hooks. There's only one lift up from main reception, so be prepared for a wait or a walk. Minor complaints - overall, the place is fine if you're not too bothered by kids being kids.

The hostel is quite conveniently located, it was easy to get to town from there via public transport. Breakfast was nice and inexpensive. The room was basic but spacious enough and, most importantly, clean. You can have a drink or a meal in the lounge at the reception, and there are a lot of settees, tables and some games so that guests can spend time and have fun together at night. It's ideal for youngsters, and was full of student groups.
The shared places were not always clean, breakfast tables were left in a mess by other guests, so it was difficult to find a clean spot.

The room was super clean, comfortable beds and were clean. In my room i didn't hear my neighbors who speaks, watching TV and so on. Only the girl stuff were nice and helpful. The bar was good and lobby was clean too.
About noise: I could hear people when they are walking near my room but it didn't prevent me from sleeping or didn't annoy. In Hallway I could hear someone was watching TV, talking or something else, but for me it wasn't a problem. Near to the second bed, one socket didn't work, but under TV there are two more sockets so it wasn't a problem too.

The hostel was clean in general (it was one of the most important things for me tbh) rooms were cleaned well and even the common toilets were hygienic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was pretty close to U8 metro. The general atmosphere and my stay in the hostel was so chill. If I came to Berlin again, I’d definitely stay here. Thanks :)
The breakfast I think it’s a little bit overpriced and the other food options (or snacks) for dinner was only edible, not tasty :D But bar staff were really kind :)
