Very nice hotel. Exceptionally clean and tidy. The lady on reception was very pleasant, chatty and friendly and spoke excellent English. The room was huge - a very large double bed, two sofas, desk, table and four chairs, wardrobe and two windows, and lots of space between them! Breakfast was typically continental, with cereals, bread, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurt, cake and so on. Free parking on site, free WiFi and free tea/coffee in the downstairs lounge. I would certainly recommend it and be happy to stay there again should I be passing through the area.

The only VERY minor "problems" were (a) the fact that there did not seem to be any air conditioning - no problem normally, but as the weather was exceptionally hot, even at night, this would have been a bonus. (b) the shower room was very small in comparison with the huge size of the room. The shower itself was also very small. It might have been more sensible to have originally made the bathroom larger and the bedroom smaller. But for a one night stay, it was not too difficult.

The location is excellent , rooms are big and comfortable. Food is super . The hotel ambiance is very warm and friendly , it felt like home . 💕 The manager and hotel staff were absolutely wonderful and very helpful and friendly. I loved it so much and will come back again.

There was no staff assigned in the evening to assist . Needs elevators to transfer luggage

I was excited because of the familiar feeling of this place. For me, this hotel has a good ghost and charisma. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is a very pleasant place to stay. The rooms are clean, the place is calm, no rush from the street and the windows could be completely darkened by the outside roller. I appreciated a very warm blanket (probably with a natural fabric inside - feathers?). I´ll come back if I have an opportunity to travel to this location. The tea and coffee were available for the quest for free in a small lounge. Very nice host.

The mattres were a little softer than I need, but it is just my personal problem.

This was a fantastic gasthaus - there was a great system for a late night arrival, which we SO appreciated. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There was a fridge in the hallway that guests could get beverages from, also a nice touch because we were thirsty after our flight. (Guests report on what they took, so the hotel could charge appropriately.). While we did not have opportunity to enjoy breakfast due to our schedule, the breakfast area was large and the breakfast itself looked marvelous! (Coffee was delicious!) The owner was lovely and gracious - we so enjoyed the stay!

No AC, but that is the norm so it’s NOT a complaint. We did just fine even though it was very warm when we visited. ;)

We had a very spacious family room. Very comfortable beddings and shower, even when the interior looked dated. Shutters were great to block out light. The Key Boy system to collect keys when the reception was unmanned worked really well.

There was no water cooker. Shower room was quite small.

The most easiest way to check in. Very good communication with the Manager/Owner. Room very clean, beds really comfortable, quiet over night. Breakfast was a delight. Staff really friendly. There is. a Pizza restaurant in walking distance.

Very helpful and courteous staff let us check in early - we were travelling by bicycle and wanted to avoid the rain. Dry, secure garage to store the bikes. Clean, comfortable room with good shower. Excellent breakfast buffet. Within walking distance of several cafés and restaurants.

Breakfast selection was very good. Fresh fruit, cereal, hot coffee, scrambled, eggs, an assortment of fresh bread.

I'll try a room on the back side of the hotel the next time. It should be quieter as the front side rooms are subject to noise from passing vehicles on the main road if the windows are left open. Also, if your room is over the main entrance and you leave the windows open, expect cigarette smoke to find it's way into your room from smokers below.

Very clean, modern, and comfortable. Very welcoming staff throughout stay. Good breakfast. Great secure bicycle storage available and they allowed us to do some general bike maintenance on site.
