A lovely location next to the Park with the Rhine a short walk away, reception staff were excellent. The air conditioned room was very nice with a good view, the welcome pack for our dog was a lovely touch with a bed, snacks and a toy. The large bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. Definitely a place I would stay in again and deserves more than the overnight stay we had but time was against us on this occasion

If you used the toilet in the night when you switch on the light in the cubicle the lamps in the open plan bathroom area also come on flooding the room with light, not good when someone else is asleep. The bathroom/shower is pretty open plan as it is all part of the bedroom, which makes it spacious but leaves very little privacy when using the washing facilities, fine for some but maybe not for everyone. USB charging points would also be a nice touch for a room of this quality. Maybe we missed something but we only had 4 channels on the TV, none of which were English but that was not a major issue

The new spa is small, but tranquil and generous in its relaxation offerings. Situation of hotel with river view and park around it plus short walk into town ideal . Breakfast was ample and offered good views on river traffic while eating

Our room was spacious and comfortable, but wifi reception was only available from the corner of room that was to replace wardrobe or the bathroom

Beautiful location by the park and quirky seating areas overlooking same. Really great rooftop spa area and sauna. Very good breakfast and we had an excellent meal in the Weinbar

Couldn’t find the sauna etc on the new spa level and would be great if it was open the same hours as the pool.

I requested for a clean room with no carpets and new bed sheets. My requests were fully accommodated by the hotel staff. My room had a balcony and park side view, which was great, lots of trees. Also, spacious rooms, large/double bed, penthouse gym wasn't bad either - more free weights would have been great, sauna was also good. They have work stations near the reception with group seating and monitors; therefore, business trip friendly. Breakfast was great, topped-off with a nice view of the park. Overall, I can recommend it for business trips and short vacations. I will visit this hotel again, when I am in Mainz.

The lifts were a bit slow, had to wait quite long, unusually long.

The hotel was overall good but its age in a few places. The Michelin Star restaurant was truly amazing and worth the high price. The staff in the restaurant and at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Limited lunch options at the venue.

Maintenance issues and lack of lunch opportunities

I like the stuff. They were very polite. Activities like the sauna, pool, and gym were nice and comfy. The jacuzzi on the top floor looked very lovely.

I could say that the breakfast options can be a bit higher. The food was enough, but compared to other hotels with the lower class, sometimes it has more selections for breakfast.

Outstanding location, view from room, good choice of restaurants, courteous, helpful staff. Excellent communication with Hotel before our stay. Handicapped accessible.

Our stay was during a heat wave. Air conditioning in the room kept the temperature bearable, but would have been more comfortable if it had been a little cooler.

excellent sleep, great bed and bedding. Great shower and lovely fresh towels. The shower being visible to the rest of the room was strange to me last year so not a surprise this time anyway as a solo traveller it not a problem. Breakfast lovely and very helpful servers.

Perfect view, good location for walking, comfortable room.

Not clean, the toilet area is dusty and full of spider webs. The whole room is used a lot, and needs some repair. Some wooden pieces have fallen apart. A large minus is trains, it is nearby railway, so you can hear trains all night.

Very plush and understated hotel. Everything one needed was at hand. Breakfast Excellent. Beautiful surroundings in the park. Lovely Rhine views and convenient walks. Better than we had expected. Well done.
