Everything was as expected. A comfortable, unexpectedly spacious room that also contained a table with 2 chiars, which was much appreciated. A cooling box/fridge was also provided.

There was nothing I did not like but I missed tea/coffee making facilities. However, I know that this is not a standard feature in German hotels.

- The room was on the top floor and it was hot - The shower wasn't working properly - There was a slight smell of smoke in the room (I do not smoke ans I smell it immediately)

The hotel felt familiar and I loved the location in a beautiful and central green area close to the Stadtpark. What I loved the most was the hospitality from Frau Limpert. She was very warm and friendly, taking the time to give me many tips to visit the city and providing a free covid test so I could go visit the city museums. Also, I booked a room with a single bed. Even though it was a small room, it had everything that was needed (desk, fridge, toilet, tv) and even a spacious balcony. Everything was very clean and tidy. Lastly, the price was very affordable, compared with the other central hotels in Mainz. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely book it again! Also, I'm happy to support a local, family business.

Good, clean room, excellent breakfast, helpful staff, excellent location close to the centre and railway station “Romisches Theatre”, good price.

I’d like to have a soap in my room. I hope it wouldn’t be big cost for the hotel to accommodate it in the room.

Location was quite convenient, close to train station Römisches Theater and connected to the Hauptbahnhof with a direct bus line (62). Simple lodgings for a reasonable price.

The mattress was clearly very old. It had a large indentation and should be changed!

I liked that it was a pretty spacious room for me, and the bathroom was great! Lady at the reception only spoke German and I don't, but we tried our best to communicate :)

Doesn't have an elevator so it's kind of complicated staying at the 3rd floor and carrying my luggage

Good location for us to visit friends. And about 20 minutes walk to the main market square and the cathedral. Good value for money

Hotel is a little tired in decor

Very welcoming staff, very clean, lots of space, vintage feeling, nice view, lots of storage, thick double windows.

The bathroom was comfortable but could use some refreshment and more decoration.

WiFi is not really stable. Had to use mobile data several times

Staff friendly and helpful even though they must have been under stress of closing for Covid-19. Hotel is in a great location: center within a walking distance, nice neighborhood, italian restaurant attached to the hotel, bakery, groceries shop nearby. Room and bathroom were quite big, beds not super soft, but we had a good night's sleep. Would definitely stay again 🙂
