On the banks of the Rhein and close by the Marksburg Schloss it was very well located. Only a short drive into Koblenz to the north or drives along the beautiful Rhein valley to the south. Hotel Bellavista is run by the very welcoming and hospitable Roberto, who also presents very enjoyable Italian cuisine. He is well supported by friendly and accommodating staff. The outdoor spaces were lovely and a nice place to enjoy a late afternoon drink or dinner.

A bit old hotel... but.... never a negative. So so charming...

Lovely hotel to relax and chill.. Right on the Rhyne. Watching the boats go by. Food Lovely Roberto and his wife were lovely. Very clean hotel pretty garden with sunbeds and deck chairs to relax on. Jetty a few minutes walk away . There's a lovely out door bar on the jetty. Serves chips and German sausages. Live bands play outside .

Everything is closed till three pm . Not your average holiday spot if your looking for excitement. But great for relaxing . Stairs no lift . No air conditioning but we had a fan

The dinner menu included excellent home-made pastas with excellent flavour - far better than other we ate in Germany. Salads were also better than elsewhere.

1. We were ripped off €5.90 for a bottle of water at dinner! This alone almost made us score the venue very poor. It is crazy business policy to spoil an otherwise excellent meal with such stupidity. 2.Unlike civilised hotels, there was no complimentary water in rooms. 3. The breakfast was OK, but quirky: a mixed plate of meat, factory cheese and salad items on a plate for each table.

Right by the River with views . Very quiet clean and friendly reception. Manager . Very reasonably priced.

Strange thing to complain about but the bed pillows were odd and uncomfortable. Huge pillows but not able to form any decent shape

The location and the river views it offers are the main selling points of this hotel. We were reluctant to leave the room and its terrace, so breathtaking were the views of the Rhina and the ships. Just make sure to book and get a room with "river view". The large free hotel car park was a great bonus.

Sooner or later this hotel will need some refurbishment, and in places it shows a little already.

The staff, view from the room and location are excellent. Outside dining was very nice. The breakfast was very good even though after 5 days it was a bit monotone.

The menu could be expanded. Again, it was a bit monotone after 4 evenings. A refrigerator in the room would be welcome. More attention to setting the breakfast table needs to be made…something was always missing.

Wonderful location! We loved the view from the balcony. The food was excellent. The service was friendly and very good.

We didn't have time to explore the interesting castle nearby.

The welcome from Roberto and his wife was lovely. The room and the view from it is exceptional along with the surrounding area which is so beautiful. The food cooked by Roberto was exceptional in both taste and texture. We will definitely be returning!

Smaller size hotel but at stunning location and very good terras and restaurant, and very friendly owner what is also the chef
