The room was so spacious and comfortable. It even had 3 TVs, one in the living area, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom! The bed smelled like flowers and helped me sleep comfortably (although I did not like it that they had put two single blankets in a king bed. That was odd). The location is perfect as its right in the middle of the old town. For the nights you spend in the room you will live like a king. Disclaimer: I did not use the gym and fitness center so I can’t comment on those.

The breakfast was pretty average but very expensive. Also if you stay for several nights you must be aware that this hotel does not have a proper lobby with lobby bars and restaurants like a real 5-star hotel. Their lobby and bar is beri small and honestly I never saw a barman there. Not an issue for most people but just so you know!

I'd ordered a cake and flowers for my husband's birthday and they prepared both of great quality. We had a car accident near the hotel and staff at the reception desk helped us out a lot. We're so grateful for everything they've done for us!

The level of service combined with it's location and traditional luxurious finishings, makes this boutique hotel an under-appreciated standout at its price point, in one of the best spots of the Altstadt. Check in was a simple process. Reception was uber-friendly and delivered unforced smiles all around. Paid parking is €25/day at an underground storage about a block East of the location. Valet parking is available for €45/day. Free streetside parking can be found not far from the area, near the police station. Staff was helpful in suggesting dining options and letting us know of the activities around us. The location is so well positioned that nothing feels like a long walk. Trams and busses are close, and there's more shopping and food options than most people are probably used to. The food is great and everything is so well organized that you come to appreciate it, quickly. My wife enjoyed the bathroom's deep soaking tub, and the towels and bathrobes were soft and fluffy like you would expect from a high end hotel. The water pressure was great, the finishings were well done, and the toiletries were higher quality Noir Collection from The White Company London. Breakfast was well worth the additional cost. The buffet was well staged, well organized, and the staff was multilingual, eager to help in any way possible. At no point did any of the food appear dried out and it was all delicious - a first for me to experience. The general finishings at this location were a modern luxury upon walking in, but quickly became more traditional, however, not in a way that would suggest it simply being dated. The carpeting and warm lighting give everything a premium polish and everything felt clean. The bed was firm and consistent, but not overly so, and the covers were soft and smooth.

It was a little difficult to find and driving through the city square to get there made us a bit nervous, but once you do, park in front, head to reception, and they'll give you the option to handle the rest.

The hotel is located just off of Neumarkt where Frauenkirche is located. There are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity and plenty of sites to see, all within walking distance. So the location is really about as good as it gets. The room was fantastic. It's big, the bathroom is big, the beds were comfy, etc., etc. I booked the hotel for the location, not for the room and I guess I didn't realize this was a 5-star hotel when I booked it. I live in Seattle and I paid the same price that I would for a hotel on a weekend trip in my neck of the woods, but this was so much better. Honestly I would have expected to pay $300-$400 for a place like this, with the location and staying during the summer, but I paid half that.

I only have a couple of minor complaints. The room has a lot, probably too many, switches for various lights, dimmers, etc. And it's not always obvious what they do. Like one will turn on a light, but then if this other button is on then it is a dimmer. A little confusing. On top of that, after spending a few minutes figuring all of that out, I still couldn't get the light in the nook above the fridge to go off. It didn't bother me and I could sleep just fine, but if any kind of light in a room prevents you from sleeping then this would be an issue.

Excellent location, comfortable and well appointed room, spacious bathroom, spotlessly clean. Good value for money at the time of our booking.

There was a construction site just across the street, meters from our windows. After booking the room we received an email from the hotel informing us of the renovation and stating that works won’t start before 10.30am. That assurance was the reason we didn’t cancel the booking straight away. Unfortunately, that was untrue - the hammering started at 7.30am and continued through the day. We didn’t get the restful stay we were hoping for.

I recently stayed at a hotel that I would highly recommend. The location was excellent and the staff was very professional. They even provided a bed, bowls, and treats for my dog, which was a nice touch. Before my arrival, the hotel sent me an email to inform me that there would be an additional charge for bringing my dog and that there was construction going on nearby. The room itself was well-equipped with slippers, robes, a small bottle of sparkling wine, chocolates, and a bottle of water, all included in the room rate. The room and bathroom were both spacious and well soundproofed, providing a quiet and comfortable stay. Overall, I was very impressed with the hotel and its amenities. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a great hotel experience.

Location is perfect. In the middle of the heart of Dresden. Breakfast was good. Car was parked for us upon arrival and on the day of departure parked in the right direction and on the right time. Perfect service.

When we arrived it was very busy at the check in, so this must be taken into consideration. However the reception of the guests could have been more warm in my opinion. Especially when I compare it to the several hotels we have been in the last weeks. There it was busy too! Furthermore great hotel with great services.

This is just an amazing hotel for a great price. The location is just perfect, right next to the town square and Christmas markets. The hotel has lavish shower and bathtub, heater where you can hang your clothes or towel to dry them, a comfortable king size bed (single mattress), wardrobe that has motion detector for lighting with compartments for shoes and different types of clothes, and a full size office desk. I was so comfortable in this room, and the bath was great to relax after walking all day.

I decided not to get the breakfast as it was very pricey for basic buffet in a small crowded room. Fortunately, there are plenty of breakfast options nearby. Other than that, I cannot find anything negative to say about this hotel.

We especially loved the location of the hotel, amazing view from our window, the comfort of the room and a very good price! Our room wasa standard confortable room and we felt very good there. But the location made us consider returning to Dresden one day just to stay there again because it was amazing! The bathroom was juge and very luxurious compared to the size of the bedroom.

That we did not stay longer in Dresden and this hotel and could not experience it fully. We were there just for a night. That is why we are considering revisiting Dresden. :)
