It was like stepping back in time a bit with this hotel. I loved it. I loved how CLEAN the hotel and room were. The decor was interesting and it's fun to stay in a hotel that isn't the standard boring modern design. I was initially worried that my room would be noisy on the first (European floor) facing the main road. With the windows shut, I could barely hear a thing. I also loved the location because it was a 15 minute walk to the center on the Rhein River and the tram station is right across from the hotel along with the commuter train line taking you directly to the airport in minutes. The location is deceptively amazing because looking at a map may lead one to believe they're not near the action, but you are. It has been a long time since I have had such a positive reaction to a hotel stay.

The room was very spacious, clean and in the city center. Staff is super friendly and they arranged for our late checkin as we arrived pretty late at night.

I was a bit disappointed that the room I booked didn't have a bathtub although it was on the hotel pictures when I booked the room, Also there was no water kettle and tea/coffee bags and coffee machine in the room. Finally on the check-in day, the shampoo /body soap bottle was empty and we only showered with just hot water as it was too late to ask for anything at that time (after midnight)

Hotel is about 10mins walk away from main streets of shopping malls, bars and restaurant. It is a boutique hotel, small but looks very cosy with the unique antique looking interior with lots of paintings. Rooms looks really good and clean with plenty of space to put your luggages. Bed was very comfy. Toilet is a little small, but was sufficient for our stay. Breakfast was pretty nice with a variety of selection of cheese, ham, bread, fruits, ur preference of freshly cooked eggs, nicely brewed coffee.

Room was up a flight of steps but we didnt mind it too much as we got the top floor room with a balcony.

Cozy room, the hotel aesthetic was lovely. Good breakfast options to meet all needs. The location has easy access to public transports and is close to supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The room I was in was a single room, which was rather small but sufficient for my use.

Keep in mind there is no elevator available, and you might have to do quite some stairs to get to the room.

The hotel was as expected. I didn't have breakfast during my stay only because, the event I attended gave us free food. The bus and train station is outside the hotel making it easier to get around. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Receptionist was very helpful and let me know where to find a good restaurant. Room really clean and comfortable. Gluten free porridge supplied by me was cooked for my breakfast. Very friendly. Plan to stay again next time I am in Dusseldorf.

Some water and/or tea making facility in the room would have been helpful.

Superb choice of breakfast items, with freshly made scrambled egg to order. Best choice of fresh rolls and pastries that I have had. Lovely large bedroom with antique style furnishings.

If I have to criticise, I will say the pillows are not very supportive, but I am sure they would have provided firmer ones if asked, but as only staying three nights we never got around to it.

Perfect location, super freindly stuff, and a georgeous huge room/suite with a very large bathroom. Perfect Breakfast. Good location with good connection to public transport. Our room was located to the back, so traffic noise was not an issue. We really loved it.

Hotel building itslef is nice and outstanding - from immediate surroundings) Public transport and S-Bahn station nearby. Quiet.

Room on the last floor has low ceilings, so space is somewhat limited. No juice on breakfast (or probably only on request).
