Location in the airport

We stayed here one night before our flight to Spain and one night after we arrived back to Germany and before a long drive. Marriot is the most obvious choice for us because it is situated just across the airport terminal and so easy and convenient to get to when you're catching a morning flight. The staff is very friendly and helpful all around, the rooms are always very clean and spacious (we always booked a King Bed with the Lounge access), the beds were comfortable and I love that they also had extra pillows. The hotel is easy to access from the train station and parking lot (which was amazing for us considering we also had a one year old with us and were carrying a lot of baggage). Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will choose Marriot again when we have to fly out via Frankfurt Airport!

The proximity to the airport, we just landed and walked to this property. Massive rooms and hallways. Lovely bathroom and really comfortable bed - it felt luxurious!

Lack of signage in the airport to find the property. We arrived at T1. Surely there could be a sign near baggage collection saying Airport Hotels this way. We went round in circles, up and down in lifts. There is a YouTube video showing where to find the airport hotels and the fact that this exists demonstrates there is an issue (we unfortunately found this after check in!).

The room was very well designed and furnished, and functioned well as both a work space and living area. Compliments to the designers: all details were very well considered, tasteful, and resulted in a pleasant and restful ambiance. It is also very easily accessible on foot by an enclosed bridge from Terminal 1.

The Marriott and Sheraton are physically connected, and share one breakfast room/restaurant, which is in the Sheraton “wing” of this complex. This results in the breakfast room being very busy, and it is set up with many tables for 8. Whether alone or with one or two others, I much prefer a quieter and less “busy” start to my day. The quality was very good, including an egg/omelet chef, but I found the seating situation so little to my personal taste that I opted to get in and out as quickly as possible. Had I realized that, I would instead have opted for the “Eatery” kiosk/bar on the Marriott side, or one of the many choices on the way to and in the Terminal.

Within the airport.

Once you hit the Master switch it turns off ALL the lights. Okay .. that’s acceptable BUT there must be a provision for a night light in the room and especially the bathroom. So at night you have turn on the Master Switch which turns on all the lights and kills the sleep. Also why have water bottles that need an old fashioned opener? We had to ask for one for the front desk since the coffee station in the room did not have one. Also the step into and out of the bathtub for a showers high and dangerous. Who are these people who design such rooms?

Very convenient for an early flight departure. Check in was quick and it was easy to get information. The room was nice and very quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was so easy to get to the terminal in the morning! The room had everything I needed, including a frig, free water, various amenities. The air conditioning worked well and the window opened. Overall great!

The only option to print the boarding pass was by downloading on the hotel computer. I didn't feel comfortable entering my log in information there. Only one of the three restaurants was open and the menu with a bit limited but it was okay.

Bed is comfortable and the room is dark and quiet. The location is right across the street from the airport and there are restaurants in the nearby train station.

We paid for a "club level room" but weren't informed of the benefits and failed to use them. The lighting is quirky, requiring that all the room lights be turned on to light the bathroom. It is extremely challenging to find the hotel after arrival at the airport due to lack of signage and information booths!

It is a beautiful modern hotel 5 minutes walk from terminal 1 very easy to find. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable and very clean. The staff were kind, especially in the Eatery for dinner when we arrived. The food was really good, and the service was amazing . Breakfast was wonderful, too. Oh, and very quiet rooms.

Everything was great

The location is amazing, very easy to reach within the airport indoors , also to go to departures as well. The room was spacious and even though is within the airport facilities is very quiet. The bed is very comfortable as well and the breakfast is great. Also many options for lunch and dinner there are 2 restaurants and room service. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really loved it for my overnights stay between frights.

the comfort of staying very close to the terminal, high level maintenance, spacious room, and a very friendly staff. I am sorry for not taking the name of our front deck person (he suffered from a broken finger, the poor guy), but he was SO friendly and professional. the bed is great

maybe the pricing at the bar downstairs, where the audience is practically captive and has no options (7 Euros for a tiny Popcorn package next to the 10 Euro beer?!)
