The location was great just a few minutes walk to the centre of the Freiburg. It was in the very nice residential area and street parking was restricted to the resident only (a neighbourhood woman came to my car and telling me that we can not park on the street when we trying to find the parking of the hotel). The parking was located behind the hotel so, you might want to park hotel's driveway when you check in. The breakfast was very good. Room was very clean and charming. I would stay again this hotel.

The bed had an uncomfortable protective plastic cover under the sheet that slip off the sheet and sweaty on your back.

Quaint old villa hotel stuffed full of artworks and friendly staff. Nice decorative touches throughout, beautiful breakfast, great location close to the city centre or the Schlossberg. Three stops by tram from the train station, or a 15' walk.

Some rooms have shared toilet and shower, although they were kept clean and tidy on a daily basis.

Great lquiet location very close to old town. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms. Courteous staff, parking on location although our a tight spot was in a nearby building across the street. Room was big by european standards.

we were assigned a room on the upper floor. No elevator, should have known that before but hauling heavy luggage all the way up was a bit of a challenge. not an issue at the ti e of our stay but no AC in the room.

Small characterful hotel in an excellent quiet location barely 2 mins from the old town centre. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean and well equipped spacious room. Good, buffet style continental breakfast. Availability of on site parking is invaluable.

Not very much really. Minor issues, the in room refreshments not replenished during our 2 night stay. No drawer storage provided in the room, robe for hanging storage only. Reception only open until 20:00. This wasn't a problem as we made it with 10 mins to spare, and alternative arrangements are put in place in the eventuality. But it does put a little pressure on if you get delayed on the road as we did.

Staff were super friendly - on the phone and at the premise. Communication was easy and I really liked their breakfast room with the big windows. Helped to have a great start to the day (and a nice chat with the staff too). Breakfast was very good too. Easy check-in was super helpful - my train was late so I arrived past the regular check-in time. But

Lovely quaint hotel just outside of the busy area. Friendly staff. Easy walk into town, plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops to keep you busy. Lots of beautiful half timber buildings to see and admire.

What a perfect choice. Alleehaus provides old fashioned style in a beautiful period house. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was of a high quality. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location is great, close to an atmospheric part of the old town and restaurants, 15 minutes walk from the station.

The location at the edge of the Old Town was close to where our daughter lives. So the close proximity to her was perfect. We found the breakfast options were extensive. The staff were exceptional and were very helpful. When we had an early departure time the hotel made an early breakfast available which was gratefully received.

Beautiful old hotel, situated in peaceful area near the old town. Good night sleep.

I would prefer harder and thicker pillows. The weather was very hot and it was quite hot inside as well. But our room was upstairs and trees gave nice shadow. Because the street was quiet, we could keep the window open.

Excellent location (close to the old town). Very good breakfast. Very friendly stuff (Special thanks to Nadia). Parking at the hotel (with additional price - 9 euro per day). It is not disadvantage, but there is no elevator. The hotel in the old beautiful building, but without elevator. The first night was not good, but stuff helps us to change to the more comfortable and quite room and from this moment all was excellent.
