The location of the hotel was excellent, short distance from train station and also within 5 min walking distance from the Garmisch center. Room had very nice bathroom with roof window, and the balcony with two big doors allowed the air to go through the room on the warmer weather. Area of the hotel was among local houses and it felt very safe and quiet neighbourhood.

Reception was friendly and efficient. Street parking was available at no cost. There were also a few spots directly at the door of the hotel. Our double room was large with an en suite and a large balcony. Breakfast was pre-ordered each day and was fresh. Egg was cooked to order. Beds were large and comfortable. Location was perfect! Around the corner from the Eisstadion (we attended a hockey game), Therme (Spa), and you could catch a ski bus to the nearby lifts. The center of town and the train station were less than a 10 minute walk. Very doable without a car.

Instant coffee packs in the room would have been nice. Tea bags were provided, however, and a coffee machine was available at the reception for €2, so this was a minor issue.

Very cozy, home like spirit with a very friendly host giving great tips. Very clean and quite, though very central, close to the main train station and city centre (5-7 min walk)

The location is absolutely fantastic for using public transport, we didn’t need a car. The property was so spacious, beautiful views and spotlessly clean.

Nothing not to like, we loved it. Didn’t want to come home.

Hilleprandt is a lovely little guest house near the foot of the Zugspitzbahn. Christiane is a charming and attentive host, the room was spacious and clean with a beautiful balcony view and full bath, breakfast was a perfect complement, and the price was far less than most chain hotels. I highly recommend staying here when visiting G-P!

Absolutely nothing!

The hotel was very clean, our room was spacious and light. Breakfast was tasty with good selections. It was very quiet at night and we had good sleep at night.

We arrived in the morning on a very rainy day. We were aware that check-in is at 3 pm. and did not ask to check in earlier. We still expected to feel welcomed, but we did not. This was a bit disappointing......

'The Chalet' apartment was both beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The location was 5 minute walk to both the centre and also the 'Zugspitzbahn', the mountain train that links the town with nearby cable cars & Eibsee lake. We only used the car once. The service was also excellent. Will definitely be revisiting.

Convienent location near the train station and was very walkable. A nice location to get to restaurants as well as a bike path! You could easily get to the Zugsptize train from here. Porch was a great amentity!

Upstairs was a bit cumbersome with our bike bags.

The owners were so wonderful and the breakfast was abundant, you could fill up and really wait til dinner before you eat again.

No elevator/lift, if you are staying in an upper floor pack light, or if you have any mobility issues, see if you can request a first/ground floor room.

The location was perfect! A few minutes by walk from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station. The hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained and in a quiet location. The front desk manager was very polite. She made sure that our needs were met and the breakfast spread was excellent!
