Very good choice for breakfast. Clean and efficient facilities. Very comfortable and a great location close to facilities and transport.

Personally I didn't like the open shower which made showering a chilly experience.

The location was absolutely fantastic, the staff were all very pleasant to talk with. The facilities were great, and we really enjoyed the fact that the sauna was unmanned and available 24/7, as we were typically wanting to use it quite late (between 23:00 - 02:00)

The toilet door didn't really seal, so it wasn't particularly private. Hardly a deal killer, but it'd be nice if that could be addressed. Additionally, it would be great to have a short piece of documentation detailing what each switch did throughout the room. We spent our whole stay there figuring out what the dial did next to the bathroom! (we believe it was for heated flooring). The gym was pretty lackluster unfortunately, as it was just a few cardio machines. It'd be great to see some weights added in the future.

Magic location in Hamburg. Cafes nearby, interesting shops, in central part of Hamburg with the lakes and all other parts of the beautiful city at hand. Close enough to the train station that is in a easy walk and far enough away that the inhabitants of train stations are not all about the hotel. Lovely staff who politely handled the basic German I have and spoke perfectly fine English.

Cleaning staff could have eased off their schedule. I understand they have a job to do and are being assessed, but sometimes we needed to be in the room during the day.

Overwhelmed at the room upgrade to suite. Amazing location.

The hotel's restaurant 1790. It was the worst dinner meal we've eaten especially on our last travel itinerary stop. The food was overcooked and not presented well. It was terrible - the. Food from the mall seemed ten times better. We made a complained to one of the waiters, who then conveyed our complain to the chef. The waiter than came back to us apologising for the situation, saying that there was nothing he could do about it. It was big disappoint knowing that the chef did not have the courtesy to meet up with us after our complain on the quality of the Foodservice.

The hotel is well situated in the centre of Hamburg; an easy walk from the main Hbf train station. It has all the facilities expected of a four star hotel. All the staff we encountered spoke good English and were very professional. The breakfast was an extensive variety of Spanish products, with German and English style too. Everything was fresh and of a high quality.

The restaurant has a very limited lunch/dinner menu. It is also closed after breakfast on a Sunday AND a Monday, which was a little disappointing. This is reflected in our lower score otherwise top marks!

Hotel is located in a very central location with heaps of eatery options and public transport within walking distance. Rooms were very clean and beds comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to stay for a few nights.

The shower is part of the living/sleeping room and gives no privacy whatsoever. No blind glass or curtain, so if the other person wants to use the washbasin and /or toilet, you are in full view. Might be fine for couples though. Saying that, it was my mistake by not paying enough attention on the photos during the booking process. Apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Good hotel, about 5-10 minute walk from the centre (Rathaus) and 5 minutes from the trainstation. Rooms are modern, spacious, good bed.

The bathroom is not seperated from the room (no door) and the shower is a glass cabin in the middle of the room. No problem if you are alone or with your partner but if you are travelling with friends I wouldn't like it. Breakfast is ok but could be better. Bacon was dry and tough, eggs only lukewarm. Only two machines for jot drinks, sometimes long waiting times.

Very clean, pleasant helpful staff who were friendly at all times. The hotel is quite well located for access around the city and just around the corner from the main rail station which was very handy for getting back to the airport at minimal cost. Breakfast was great with plenty of selection to suit all tastes.

Only a minor niggle but a bit more thought into the tea/ coffee selection in the rooms and topped up when used would be great. Not essential though as it didn’t detract from a great stay.

The location was very good, Room was a nice size and the shower was very good, Bed was very large and pretty comfortable.

The rooms are nice but we were woken up by somebody having a conference call at 02;00 in the morning which wasn't great. We mentioned to the receptionist the next day and he advised that that person had checked out so not a problem after. The Hotel seems to be a popular business hotel as there are some large banks near by so can feel a little soulless.

The location was good, superior rooms spacious.

The AC was malfunctioning, there were weird smells at times. But the major inconvenience was the cleaning staff! Within the first day they rushed into the room unannounced with their own keys 7 times just to ask if we need more coffee or they can start cleaning the room. Also before 9 am. When I mentioned about this at the reception the cleaners started to give me attitude. Also no soap refills nor coffee was brought to the room. You couldn’t double lock the room or chain it but had to keep the don’t disturb sign on the door handle to keep the staff out.
