Location and staff

At the booking link we try 3 times for 2 persons and the book still push for 1, we got an extra fee at the hotel

A fantastic and spacious room, really big and comfortable beds. The look of the hotel hallways and reception and the decor in the rooms is… very special… but fitting to the area on the Reberbahn where the hotel is located. Despite the fact that we had a big window facade on the second floor towards the Reberbahn, it was completely quiet in our room, and we slept fantastic! Toilet and shower was small, but everything worked. The receptionist was very kind and helpful upon check-in.

My daughter and I knew nothing about Hamburg when we booked the hotel, so we were very surprised to find the hotel amongst the many stripclubs, bars and arcades ;-). Thus we felt somewhat insecure walking around the area. We had hoped to be able to get an early check-in, but as the hotel reception is only manned btw 15-22, that was not possible. Also, it would not be possible to pick up the key after 22. That fact should be clearly stated on booking.com when you want to book this hotel.

Location was excellent, right on the Reeperbahn (a very lively area, so you have to be able to appreciate that - we did). The room was really clean, bathroom was nice and spacious. They have absolutely amazing black-out curtains that we really appreciated.

Bed was very narrow. I travelled with a friend and we wanted to book a room with two twin beds - only after booking did we get the notice that 'they couldn't guarantee twin beds but would try their best'. We ended up not getting twin beds (and I wonder why - it didn't seem particularly busy when we were there). We don't mind sharing a double bed but it was a very narrow bed. I wish the bed was as spacious as the shower in the bathroom...

It had a lot of character and the decor was well-thought out, like a boutique hotel would be but at a much lower price. I really liked the dark furnishings. It was also in the middle of the Reperbahn but was secure and not as loud as expected, which we appreciated. The bathroom and the room were spotless and the bed was comfortable.

It would be great to have some safe luggage storage and check in beyond 10PM. Some way to have breakfast would also be great. In general some more staff and to have one person there after 10 and before 12 would go a long way.

I’m not sure breakfast was available but I had an excellent coffee and kuchen a few minutes walk away. The neighbourhood might be challenging for some but the hotel was easy to find, offered excellent value, was a clean and easy bed for the night and a location close to the port. Great choice for me.

Inevitably, the nightlife and demographic of the Reperbahn creates its own dynamic (until the early hours) and noise but I found the whole experience entertaining and easy.

The staff was very welcoming! The room was rather big and had a lot of windows. I was lucky to get the (only) room with a balcony which was very nice. The location is great, there is public transportation in front of the door and a lot of animation.

- Cleanliness was not perfect but ok. - If noise is disturbing to you this is the wrong place. Or you should bring earplugs 😊. - The hairdrier wasn't working.

We loved this hotel so much we tried to extend our stay (which wasn’t possible because it was booked out). It’s an absolutely perfect little slice of Reeperbahn experience, but cleaner and classier than you’d imagine. We saw reviews here saying it’s not a family vibe. That’s true. It’s fun and sexy and a beautifully designed spot for grown ups. The room was so good (fun art on the walls, everything well put together, a much better bed than you’d expect in a hotel at this price point) and the view so good (3rd floor looking directly out to the Reeperbahn with lots of windows), it was more fun to stay in than go out.

Kitch red light there but spacious and clean. Cleaning staff did a Good job. This is No five star hotel, but you get noisy immersive st. Pauli experience in a very decent and Secure hotel Room.

The receptionist was the most unfriendlt i have met, but is probably just german Way - she upgraded us after lecturing us. Didnt see her since check in nor did We need it.

Excellent service, excellent location, very clean room. Room is small but everything is manageable. Property exceeded my expectations, not a noisy place and I was afraid to come when I read other reviews, but everything was very good.

The bathroom was too small, the lack of coat hangers, the bathroom sink..those were a minus

The hotel is located right in the heart of all the action which the Reeperbahn has to offer. The decor is funky and rooms are named after playing cards, in keeping with the Casino name. Loved the giant peacock picture in our room.

The accommodation was perfectly suited to the nature of our stay, and exceeded our expectations. The room was on the smaller side (1 dbl bed plus 1 single bed), but we didn't mind. As the hotel is in super close proximity to many late night bars, those looking for a 'quiet night in' might struggle with the noise of late night revellers and music. If you are wanting to be smack bang amongst all the action, then this place is for you!
