Previous reviews reported some difficulties with air conditioning in some rooms. Our room 112 the a/c was not working.  Ms Namchuk at the reception was terrific! She immediately had housekeeping check it for us and then assigned us to a new room where the air conditioning was Great!  Strong wifi.  Clean comfortable room and bed.  Great shower.  Safe garage parking for bikes.  Fabulous breakfast! Beautiful lobby offering free coffee.

This hotel was great in every way. The location was central. The breakfast was fantastic in every way. It is hard to have perfect eggs at a hotel, perfect bacon, individual pitchers of juice, fresh fruit, all sorts of yogurt, smoked salmon. The room was spotless, comfortable bed, good size, very quiet. The price was unbeatable.

This hotel was very reasonable priced with breakfast included. I had read some reviews on this hotel and was not looking forward to staying but what a surprise i got it was fantastic. Somewhere safe in the locked carpark for our bikes. very welcoming staff. Free coffee and chilled water in reception. Our room was very good and clean with everything we needed and i think there was coffee making facilities too. the breakfast the next was superb and one of the best we had all holidays with a great choice including smoked salmon, hot breakfast options fruit and continental options. we stayed in about 20 different hotels on this trip and this was our cheapest and pretty much the best especially for the money. would definitely like to stay again.

car parking at the back of our room and fire escape not particularly pretty but didnt cause a problem for one night.

The breakfast buffet was an absolute delight. Everything from the staff to the presentation to the cleanliness and atmosphere far exceeded our expectations. The rooms were extremely clean and updated. Very nicely done !!

Located in the centre of Karlsruhe minutes from the A65/B10 SatNav assisted. No restaurant on site as far as I could tell although pizze(Domino) and snacks /tapas were advertised in the lift, I assume sourced from outside. There are however plenty of restaurants within walking distance (Italian, Indian. Oriental). Very good breakfast.Very comfortable beds. Garage parking on the roof offered plenty of space and is free if a bit of a helter skelter to access. Lower garage(charged) has less space and has a steep decent. 2.0metre height limit with both. Even though the Santo has a popular late night cocktail bar this caused no disturbance.

The sign for the Santo is very noticeable from the access roads,though the entrance to the parking is easily missed and I did,so a P plus arrow would have helped.

Pretty much everything was good, I didn't try the breakfast though, but the main thing that I appreciated was the staff, very friendly and the check-in/check-out process was so quick and easy. They also responded to the call I made to tell them that I would arrive later than expected very quickly despite it being almost midnight.

The AC was quite loud which made it quite difficult to have it on while sleeping, and it was very warm without it. A friend who stayed at the same hotel said their AC was dripping water onto the floor, so I guess they might have some AC issues in general.

Everything! Terrific front desk ( the clerk even took our bags to our room while we were locking our bikes), secure bike storage, great shower, thirsty towels, extremely comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, very quiet room, generous and diverse breakfast, nice bar. Hotel Santo may cost a bit more, but it is well worth it.

there was nothing I did not like about the property. It is, quite simply, what all hotels should aspire to.

Professional, clean and complete. Good quality coffee in your room. A little treat for your dog when you arrive and some good cocktail advise at the bar. Breakfast was super clean and organized also the COVID rules were really professional handled. When we’re staying again in Karlsruhe we definitely book here.

No downsides.

The room was spacious for two people with a comfortable bed. The location of the hotel is close to the center. Markets, parks, and the zoo are just around the corner. The coffee corner at the lobby is a gem for coffee to go and water. Excellent cocktails at the bar with polite staff. Excellent, must try, breakfast.

The hotel bar is good but is usually overcrowded, but tables can be booked. The indoor parking spaces are not very spacious for large cars, and even though it is paid, parking spots are not reserved.

Classic hotel, with traditional bar and piano player in lobby. Staff in livery. Impressing coffee machines. Very good choice of breakfast items. Although one night the cow died suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving us without milk for our müsli, the staff (generally well trained and polite) did more than its utmost to rush to the next farm to borrow milk, thus saving our day - despite of so many things to organize in such miserable situation. Free parking, too. Close to, or within city center.

Room was rather small, and the mattress needs to be renewed, because a depression in its middle made us fall into it again and again while we slept.
