Needed better pillows Very cheap blanket I have chosen the best hotel in Kassel to stay but it wasn't good enough. Generally (it not concerns Fischers) it's big challenge in Germany with hotels. Middle level - very bad. In rich country - bad hotels everywhere. If you traveling a lot on the same price level in Netherlands or Poland you will get much better product..

The check-in was super quick and the rooms were very neat and clean. The location is nice, not directly in the city center in case this is important for you, but close to the mountain park and the train station if these are important factors to you. Breakfast was also really nice and the staff was very friendly.

This was our second stay here. Excellent accommodation and restaurant. Good, free on-site parking. Comfortable and well-equipped, spacious, modern rooms. The extensive UNESCO Bergpark is a very short walk away. Kassel is an excellent stop-over on the way to Poland from the UK. It is a very green city.

Lovely hotel with great personal service. Location is perfect, a 10 minute walk to the Bergpark. Dinner was great and the breakfast choice was good. Staff are great.

I would liked to have had the option for dinner at the hotel on Sunday, but that seems to be a Germany issue.

Clean, neat, functional, quiet, nice and professional staff. Good restaurant. Close to park and walks. Streetcar and bus to the center nearby.

Great "easy" and dog friendly hotel with fantastic location. Good breakfast, friendly staff and neat and clean rooms. I loved the availability of on-site parking. Will book again if passing through Kassel again :)

It is 20 minutes walk from the Kassel Wilhelmshohe train station. There are small restaurants and shops nearby. Tram stop to the city centre is right outside too. Swimming pool is great. Staff at restaurant were nice - Thank you!

A bit noisy early in the morning. Sounded like there were construction works going on nearby.

Loved the quality of the hotel. Location just beside the park was great for us.

Most parking spaces were too tight for my car, although a very nice staff member freed up a better space for me.

the breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly! the swimming pool was awesome and quiet. The beds where very comfortable.

the sauna didn't work when we stayed there (and something very specific: I kinda disliked the weird carpet in our room, would have liked the normal 'flat' once more, but I know that's personal preference)

It is quite far from the Documenta venue, but can be reached by tram which is free with documenta ticket. It takes about 25 minutes and the trams stop next to the hotel and come about every 10 minutes. Outside seating area is right next to a big road.
