Great location, friendly staff, lots of space, cozy beds, and overall a safe atmosphere. And the balcony was a lifesaver for rewinding in the evenings!

TVs were on the older side, no streaming services available. Watching MTV was still a nostalgic throwback though ;)

Although the building was a bit outdated, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable, everything was working properly. Even though it was in the city center and near the train station, it was quiet and rooms had great sound isolation. Plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes around. It's home for elderly people and I read that for some it was big dissapointment, but this fact didn't bother me at all. Contrary, it meant it was really quiet and for me it is important to sleep well. Plenty of space in the room (I'd call it rather apartment), there is a kitchen with all necessary apliances, even a balcony. Staff was helpful as well.

The only downside was very poor internet connection, one of the poorest I've seen recently. Fortunately, I had plenty of mine.

The location was great, 5 minutes of walking distance from the central train station and the Kölner dom. The room was spacious and clean. I was there with my elder mother, so the place was a perfect choice for us. Everything was really comfortable. The use of sauna and the pool was free, and it was really good for a nice break when my mom was tired of walking around the city.

There were only two of everything in the kitchen, two forks, two spoons, two glasses, two plates etc., nothing for serving. No coffee machine, only a kettle. They did not replace the tea, coffee, salt etc.

was there anything to not like? we absolutely loved this hotel. the staff are simply lovely, cleaning staff were sooo nice!! the room was beautiful 😍 clean, comfortable and homely, just like being at home. The pool, gym, sauna and dance studio were all easy to access and always quiet! the food in the restaurant in the atrium was lovely and the location !! just a few minutes walk to the main train station, and you could see the cathedral !! just lovely, we will book again!

This was our second stay at this property. It is very conveniently located in the heart of Cologne, just steps away from the DOM and the train station. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and there is 24hour front desk service who were very helpful and friendly. The residents who permanently live there (retired people) are also very friendly and it's always fun to chat with them in the elevator! There are many restaurants and shops within an easy walk.

This time we had a car and although there is a parking garage under the property, it is first come, first serve and we found that it was full a few times when we wanted to park. There are a few other parking garages within an easy walk, but we found this to be pretty inconvenient, especially when it was raining.

This was an excellent apartment and I had a wonderful stay! Reception was so helpful, able to communicate with me in English, and was helpful in answering a question I had about trains for a football game I was going to during my stay. The apartment itself was impeccable, so clean, comfortable, and with daily housekeeping to sort out the bins and towels, which was really appreciated. All self-catering facilities provided as well. The location is perfect, as it is a very short walk to the main train station, and also to shops, eateries and of course the cathedral! Despite being close to the city centre, I slept well every night with minimal noise disruption, and the apartment was cool during the warm weather. Would highly recommend this place!

There was nothing I didn't like. It was perfect.

The apartment is spacious for two people, everything you need to cook is there. The room is quite warm. Being around elderly people adds to the nice atmosphere. Swimming pool and jacuzzis were top notch. There is even a dance studio. Location cannot be better, near the cathedral and the train station, with lots of restaurants around.

We wanted a two people’s bed but it was actually two seperate beds put together. Not as nice, but still ok. We can also hear sounds from the streets, as it’s located in the center it can be quite noisy at night still.

Location is great. There is a great sauna and lap pool. The hotel room was big with its own kitchen, a living room and a balcony. Great if you have to work remotely. The restaurant and all facilities were wonderful. Nice outdoor garden. Note that this is senior home on some levels which I found lovely. I wish I could stay there! The stuff is absolutely amazing. It is a spacious but very homey place.

When I first called the main number of the hotel there was an incredibly rude women (twice) who told me to stop calling "without reason". The reason I called was to confirm my confirmation (I arrived from NYC in Frankfurt and wanted to make sure that the room is indeed available) and subsequently to change a spa appointment. I never had anyone be so rude to a guest. Whoever this woman was she does not work at the reception desk (otherwise I would have left the hotel) and everybody else was absolutely wonderful.

Fantastic apartment with a spacious bedroom, a large living dining room and a balcony. It was perfectly located five minutes walk from the Dom and the train station. The apartment block had an excellent swimming pool, gym, sauna and restaurants/bar. Kitchen had all the utensils you may require and ample seating and x2 televisions. There are full time elderly residents there as well and they were very friendly, as were the reception staff.

Could have had air con as it was very warm in Cologne. The fire alarm went off during in our stay and the reaction of staff and residents was concerning. No one really reacted and two policemen were walking around when we evacuated and they asked us if we could smell smoke! We could and when the fire brigade arrived they identified a toaster that was the cause. Thankfully it wasn't more serious!

The location - it is within walking distance of the train station and the historic square, including the cathedral. This means eateries and supermarkets nearby. The apartment is big, with bedroom, separate living/dining room and adequately stocked kitchen. The apartment is clean and bed / pillows comfortable. We did not use the pool, sauna, whirl pool or gym, but these are available till 10pm. There is even a laundry / dryer room that is well maintained. The staff is friendly, and generally helpful.

The room has no airconditioning, but the staff provided a fan when requested. Cleaning staff could be more careful to check that soap dispenser is filled. Would be good if there could be tissue paper in the room, and have tea and coffee refilled every day.
