It's not a hotel with modern architecture but the operating team and quality of services are excellent. The Housekeeper is very informative, respectful and able to understand five languages so your room and stuff in there are in very good hands. The hotel is close to the metro station and shuttle to the airport. I'm giving 10 out of 10 because you would have zero problems here. they will completely fulfill your confidence and satisfaction.

Big rooms and beds, decent breakfast, clean. Location is near the metro station and Lufthansa airport bus stop.

The style of the hotel is a bit old fashioned already. My room was next to the room of the cleaners space and it was bit noisy in the morning. The cleaners start their daily tours early in this hotel and after the basic tour, there is another person who knocks the doors and comes to ask, if everything is ok and if your room was cleaned today... So if you want to take your afternoon nap in peace, put the "do not disturb" sign to the door.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was great. Shower worked well and bed was comfortable. Good selection of drinks at the bar. The hotel is very near a stop on the Lufthansa airport bus route. There is also a cycle path right outside (Munich is very cycle friendly). We spend a few nights here at the start and end of our cycle trip to Venice. The hotel kindly stored our bike bags in the meantime. We were also able to keep the byciles in the garage. Bonus: There is a nice restaurant called Guerickegarten at the nearby sports club and great coffee at the Café Eisenrieder next door.

Excellent personell, receptionist very patient, helpful in the middle of the night, kind and caring, not loosing track of all special wishes and beforehand changes and incorporating more family on the spot, also the bar right in the entrance very good, perfect and quickly serves draft beer, even had food, good area for our big group to get organized and meanwhile chat and have the little kid occupied happily

anyway, cant have everthing, - tha car space downstairs was a little un-spacious, but served for the two nights to have the car safely tucked away, we moved to town by U-bahn, very good connection!

we wanted a location outside downtown, near the English Garden, short walk to Lufthansa airport bus and UBahn subway and near shops and taxi cabs. IBIS Munchen met all criteria. Very modern and clean inside. Modern plumbing and electrical. Good lighting in the room; I could actually read a book at night! And all this for 75euro? Wow, thats a bargain.

The hotel is a little worn and tired on the outside and we were not sure what we would find inside. no problem, once inside it was a wonderful modern hotel the staff was warm and welcoming and multi-lingual. The modern facilities, generous dining area, large lobby and efficient elevator were all appreciated.

Nice, cosy room it was for 1 person. Super clean, the bed was amazingly comfy, the pillows aswell. Location publictransport vise is very good, with subway u can get anywhere quickly! As I wasnt interested in pubs, restaurants I can not tell, but not seen almost nothing while I was walking around. Breakfast was yummi, and just about right for this price.

Room could of have a little fridge. Staff members..well, some of them was kind and helpful, but some of them just couldnt be bothered. After my check out hardly said bye to me, and not an other single word. Rude.

Excellent stay at the hotel, would highly recommend the staff extremely helpful, nice walk into the city centre but the underground at the doorstep. will be going back shortly. i stay at this hotel every time i visit munich, absolutely wonderful!!!

I have no faults nor complaints always feel well looked after. Staff speak excellent English although i speak fluent German. Very helpful, held my baggage until my flight was due early evening. thank you

I tested positive for covid the day i arrived. i isolated in my room for 5 days (ibis extended my stay for 2 days). during the isolation period ibis provided an espresso machine for my room, and access to an extended breakfast also delivered to room. That, plus wifi and internet, allowed me to rest and get healthy without concern for myself and others. thank you The manager for the rooms (Wiki(?)) was especially helpful. (this was under staff above - but think it's appropriate here as well)

Very good location, near by subway and LH airport shuttle bus. Walkable distance to supermarket so easy to buy some snack or water. Staffs are friendly with happy to help you. Breakfast is fine. Bed was comfy, room was clean nicely. Air con was working well. Wifi was also woking strong and smooth. Fast check in and check out. Not far from English garden.

The position is optimal, a couple of minutes from the Ubahn stop. The breakfast is very good. The room had all the essentials, it was clean and with air conditioning.
