We arrived by train, it was only a 15 minute walk from the train station. The city centre is not too far either, and easily reachable by foot. The receptionist was friendly, he gave us a map with all the major sights and good restaurants in Nürnberg. Our room was comfortable. Good shower. We could hear some noises from other rooms, but besides that it was a quiet hotel.

The neighbourhood isn't the best introduction to Nürnberg. The area seemed a bit dilapidated at first, there were people loitering near the hotel ... But it was perfectly safe, it's just not the most vibrant part of town.

I didn’t expect that I would like this hotel so much, now I will try to choose this hotel chain on my trips. We traveled with a dog and it was allowed. They were able to place the car in an underground garage for 9.5 euros per day. The central square is just a 15-minute walk; the old town starts across the road. I was pleased with the varied breakfast - fresh fruits, vegetables, as well as the opportunity to make your own waffles. In addition, an early opportunity to have breakfast! And very nice staff!

We knew in advance that there was no mini fridge or kettle in the room, so this did not come as a surprise.

I liked the central location of the hotel (just a 10-minute walk from the central station and it takes just several minutes to get to the historic city centre). U-Bahn station is also nearby. The staff is very helpful; the rooms are neat and clean; beds wide and comfy. Great variety of meals for breakfast (I always appreciate vegetarian options) in a spacious dining hall.

The closest neighbourhood of the hotel is not that pleasant, mainly due to the busy road. It can be loud at night (but the room air-conditioning does not make you open the windows at night in the summer).

I like the location and the receptionist guy that we met was funny :)

They charged me 17€ for the breakfast on the last day before i leave the hotel which was weird. I suppose to stay until 12 pm which i left 8 am in the morning. Before i give my room card back the guy who was at the reception said “ pls have to pay for the breakfast “

I stayed for one night at this hotel, and everything was fine. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the basic amenities I needed. The location is very convenient, situated in a nice area. Overall, a pleasant experience for a quick stopover!

It's a 20th century economy hotel, but with a redesign done right: clean room & bathroom, big tv, soundproof-ish walls, all you need in one place. Good staff at the reception and nice cleaning personel that greets you in the hallways. Has parking on site (underground garrage). It would be a 10 if the view was towards the old town...

The entrance at the parking garrage is a steep cornering slope... Downhill is ok, but uphill gives you an adrenaline rush. Also, the garrage door doesn't automatically open when you get there, be aware to get down and press the ring button close to the door.

I had not used Ibis before and very pleasantly surprised. We had a small issue with one of the 2 rooms when checking in - but this was quickly resolved by the staff. The rooms were comfy, the showers good. Teh two men working on the night we arrived weer so friendly and really put themselves out to sort out our issue.

Nothing wrong at all

The rooms are spacious compared to other hotels. Great location for restaurants, and access to trains. Rooms are clean. Restaurant and bar is available. You get value for your money and the hotel and room is just as it appears online. I have stayed there 5 times within the last three months. Go there because I know what I am paying for.

Wish there was at least a mini fridge and microwave

A simple, modern hotel which is just fine for a short city break. Room is simple but fuctional. Air conditioning was good - much appreciated on a hot summar day. Check in quick and friendly. Room perfectly clean. Large and comfortable double bed.

No tea/coffee facility in the room. The room is really on the small side - I would say a single room with a double bed, which occupied at least half of the room :). Furniture is really minimalistic, e.g. no cupboard or wardrobe, only some small shelves. I would say, just fine for 1-2 nights but not ideal for a longer stay.

Very convenient location, a few minutes walk away from the Plaerrer station and a few minutes walking from the walls of the Old City. A small mall is also nearby, in which among others, a super market and a bakery are located. the staff of the hotel is very friendly.

The room was not that spacious, however it's ok for a few days. The breakfast was OK, but expected a bigger variety as it was 13 euro /person/day. The one elevator was out of order during our stay, and all residents and staff had to use the one elevator left. . During morning times it could be a small challenge to use the elevator, but I believe that this will be fixed soon 😊
