Friendly staff, beautiful and kept grounds and building. Comfortable beds, spacious room and nice views over the gardens. Generous breakfast spread and delicious dinner. Staff at breakfast and dinner were helpful and very friendly

- Lack of bath in the room. - Lack of a proper coffee machine in the room, rather only a kettle including instant coffee and tea. - Coffee at breakfast could be better. Automatic machines with commercial coffee is meh.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean throughout. Nicely appointed room. Very comfortable bed. Nice shower. Quiet location off the road surrounded by forest. Still close enough to walk into Oberusel for dinner, shops, etc. Hot water pot and instant coffee in the room.

On site parking garage costs Euro 22 for less than 24 hours! Spa facilities were closed. Breakfast would have been appreciated for the price.

Location. Breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. But at the Bar they were very kind to take care of us since we are vegan.

We loved everything. We usually book at Dorint Oberursel and we are always super happy and looking forward to spend time there; however last time the quality of our overall experience was a little bit less. Small details that usually were taken into account, this time were not.

The Dorint is (almost) everything you expect from a first-class hotel: peaceful location in a large, well-kept park, top-notch amenities and decoration, large comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast.

There were a few oddities: Charges for parking were quite high, at €19 for the garage and €9 for the open lot. There was a refrigerator in the room, but it was missing a cord. When asked, the front desk staff said this was "to conserve energy", even though he didn't look like he believed that either. And there was no hand soap in the bathroom, and only one small tube of lotion for two people. Minor points, but quite obvious given the high level of other amenities.

An oasis of tranquility. I have never stayed in a hotel at Christmas, but this was a great first experience. Staff exceptionally cheerful and helpful. Rooms and facilities impeccably clean.

Location is a bit of the way, but was ideal for us, as our family Christmas was 10 minutes walk away!

minor thing: parking is at least 9Euro/day, and a walk, although a beautiful but a walk, there was no parking right next door to the property. during our very busy visit with a lot of driving back and forth this was an occasional inconvenience. staff generously allowed us to leave the car near the entrance for short amount of time, but this was not so always possible as other cars were often already there.

Rooms were superb and location of hotel ideal. We will definitely come back to the Dorint on our next visit to Oberursel. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just one discrepancy occurred on our stay and that was when I asked for my eggs to be poached rather than boiled or scrambled , the chef said it would cost me more money to cook it that way! Needless to say I declined on principal especially as each breakfast was already in my view quite expensive at 24 euros for each individual breakfast daily. Such a shame he let your hotel down because everyone else was so very polite and accommodating.

Everything was perfect. I love this hotel. Very clean, staff very friendly, responded to requests quickly. The mattress was comfortable and the A/C was very good. The hotel very quiet in the forest with great view towards the trees. I really felt comfortable during my stay

Perfect mix of old and new, history and modernity, without the grime associated with older properties. I have germaphobic tendencies and I usually avoid old properties like the plague. This place was pristine and well maintained. I can’t wait to stay here again one day!

The hotel is nestled away in a quiet park. The wellness package included a late check-out, an exceptional breakfast option and a wonderful dinner. The hotel's spa has numerous treatment options available and a beautiful and peaceful sauna and steam room. The hotel room was generously sized, tastefully decorated and all the facilities for work and leisure. The pillows were a bit too soft and so two were needed for support. very clean and comfortable. The help from the front desk was wonderful and they had a good selection of papers available.

The Taunus Therme included in the wellness package was horrible. The facilities were past their prime, loud and substantially overcrowded. There was nothing relaxing about the facilities and the food cannot be considered 'wellness' food. A substantial let down and not worth the trip. It is not the same clientele looking for peace and quiet. The hotel would be better off taking this OUT of their wellness package. Include a spa treatment at a discount in your own spa instead.
