I liked everything, I was very surprised by the big room - we had a beautiful family room where the 4 of us had a great time! (By the way, it's hard to find a shared family room around Munich.) Very kind staff, clean rooms. The breakfast was excellent - I really appreciate that the hotel is focused on healthy eating - there is a continental breakfast and also an offer for vegans (I'm not vegan, but the food was great), delicious coffee, etc. It also offers information on healthy eating. Oh yes, free parking is also available. Very good location - shops, cafes around, if you have a car - there is a lake near Planneg where you can swim. Everything was great!

So glad we chose this hotel for our first visit to Munich. We drove from Memmingen airport and it was very easy to find. We loved the experience of staying in a quiet residential neighbourhood, and the short train rides into the city centre felt like part of the adventure. The hotel itself was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and the staff - especially the young man on Reception when we arrived - were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and with a good range of options (including vegan and gluten-free). We would happily stay again.

There was a slight odour of cigarette smoke in the hallway/our room, but it was a very minor issue.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast! Planegg is a lovely, peaceful German town! Not knowing anything about Munich, we booked this lovely hotel as a home base to discover Munich, which was not very convenient for that purpose - it met the need by having a train station in town though but we did spend a lot of time on the train! The rooms are all a little different with windows, bathrooms, size, bed configuration - the front desk staff was very accommodating getting us a room that worked for us.

Not really a complaint, just a heads-up - for us the rooms were a little warm so having a room with doors and windows (or multiple windows) allowed us to get a little better airflow.

Nice stuff. Big and comfortable room. Great breakfast! All in all is a great hotel !

Our room was on the underground floor, so the windows were rather small. It was not critical for us as we stayed 1 night only. But normally I would not like such a setting for a longer stay. Also the glass shower cabin is facing the bedroom, so if one person go to the bathroom and switch on the light there - the bedroom is lightened as well. Which can be annoying in the middle of the night. Again not critical for a short stay. And was quite entertaining for the kids :)

This hotel is a gem that we will likely return to. We stayed there one night only because it was on our way to Switzerland but we were really surprised by the hospitality (the receptionist and also the owner were very friendly and helpful) and warmth of the place altogether. The room is was not the most spacious but we really enjoyed how cosy it was and even with out baby for which the cot was already prepared we didn't struggle for space. We also had a nice view into the garden with big trees on which a squirrel was running around - an important asset when travelling with a baby. Breakfast was absolutely worth it - selection was sufficient but most importantly everything looked freshly prepared and arranged. On top of that there was a raw food/vegan selection that my wife absolutely loved. And I almost forgot to mention that once the owner found out that my wife has celiac disease, they prepared gluten free bread for her.

Not something that could really be changed - but our car is quite long, so it was not really possible to turn around and we had to reverse into the street when leaving. Luckily our car has a lot of cameras but it was a little bit stressful.

Everything was wonderful. The room was large, and was well equipped. The staff is sincerely friendly and extremely helpful + efficient. Huge thank you to Florian: you truly went above and beyond and made a hurrying business traveler like myself feel truly welcomed and appreciated. I've stayed a few places around the area over the last year and this was without a doubt the best, no competition! All my future scheduled stays in Planegg will without a doubt be here. Thank you sincerely!

Amazing room, 2 bedrooms, super bathroom with tub and shower separated, baby changer, diapers. Living room, 2 TVs, sofa and 2 big closets. It was really more than expected. There is a safe parking inside the hotel. Very good breakfast. The staff (Erik) was really helpful and nice.

The only downside was that the apartment did not have a fridge. Location also is a bit far from Munich center, but for me that was not an issue because I had a car.

The breakfast was perfectly in order, with a lot of choises. Planegg is a nice village, but with the S6 [on 8 min. walk] the center of München is easily reached. Several nice shops present in the center. The bathroom was beautiful, with a nice natural stone floor.

The bed was very hard, could have been a little softer.

Large,spacious room. Breakfast buffet good with range of mainly cold continental items, with exception of scrambled egg and boiled egg. Short walk to Train for Munich, a 20 minute train ride. Planegg lovely suburb.

It would have been nice to have somewhere in the hotel to have a drink in the evening.

I mean, nicest place we stayed on our 10 day trip - and it wasn't even close. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. It was very easy to find with plenty of off street, free parking. Check-in was great with tea or coffee offered from the really nice machine near the desk. The room was huge with a large bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Temperature in the room was good. Breakfast was simply outstanding ...I'd rate it 11/10 if I could. The covid precautions were excellent with gloves required to handle anything in the breakfast room. There was good amount staff. There were classic meats and cheeses, excellent yogurt, specialty smoothies, incredible scrambled eggs, a good coffee machine, and everything else you could possibly want. The breakfast room was comfortable and spacious. We only had a 2 night stay but both days we ended up driving right into Munich. The first day was a Sunday and we got free parking just 3 blocks from Hofbrauhaus. However, we could have taken a nearby train, which looked very easy. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It was just slightly on the high end of our price target but it exceeded our expectations. That very rarely happens.

The approach to the hotel from the street make you think you are in a residential area until you find the place and realize you are in a quiet, hotel heaven! Nothing not to like.
