Location is very convenient, especially if you need to commute to Munich. The city Hotel is located in is very nice and quite. The personnel was absolutely fantastic, very friendly and supportive (special thanks to Martha on the reception). Breakfast with vast variety of food selections, including raw and vegan stations for those who interested. We were family of four with a pet - thus, rented a 2-room apartment - absolute value for money. Highly recommend this place for the short stay!

You need to consider the church nearby, as the bell rings every quarter. If you are bothered by the bell sound - keep this in mind.

I liked everything, I was very surprised by the big room - we had a beautiful family room where the 4 of us had a great time! (By the way, it's hard to find a shared family room around Munich.) Very kind staff, clean rooms. The breakfast was excellent - I really appreciate that the hotel is focused on healthy eating - there is a continental breakfast and also an offer for vegans (I'm not vegan, but the food was great), delicious coffee, etc. It also offers information on healthy eating. Oh yes, free parking is also available. Very good location - shops, cafes around, if you have a car - there is a lake near Planneg where you can swim. Everything was great!

We liked everything, the staff were so friendly and nice, such homely and welcoming atmosphere, we were really pleased with the whole experience. There’s a free parking in front and you can get a train (10 minutes walk to the station) to the center of Munich which is much more convenient than driving there and thinking about the parking. Breakfast was also very nice and there was variety for everyone’s taste.

It's a very nice family-run hotel. The location was very convenient. Their breakfast is amazing, with lots of choices including home-made smoothies, organic eggs and vegan options.

Upon arrival, I was told that their pricing would have been better with direct booking. It would have been nice if they would have offered their lower pricing. But I guess that's on me for not checking in with them directly before booking.

The best i liked is Breakfast , today it is very few hotel offer such hometaste food and fry the egg themself, most of breakfast they offer have BIO certificate and the TASTE ...... you will remember it many many months or even longer, Thanks for hotel management to offer high end breakfast location in small street and beautiful residential area, rooms are big including sofa,

if they will make the rooms more Bayern style then the hotel will be perfect place to stay !!

Loved this charming hotel , with big spacious rooms and exceptional breakfast. There are many delicious restaurants nearby and a short 10 min walk to the train. It was about a 25 min train ride to the centre. The staff were so kind and helpful, always willing to help!

So glad we chose this hotel for our first visit to Munich. We drove from Memmingen airport and it was very easy to find. We loved the experience of staying in a quiet residential neighbourhood, and the short train rides into the city centre felt like part of the adventure. The hotel itself was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and the staff - especially the young man on Reception when we arrived - were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and with a good range of options (including vegan and gluten-free). We would happily stay again.

There was a slight odour of cigarette smoke in the hallway/our room, but it was a very minor issue.

Our room was on the underground floor, so the windows were rather small. It was not critical for us as we stayed 1 night only. But normally I would not like such a setting for a longer stay. Also the glass shower cabin is facing the bedroom, so if one person go to the bathroom and switch on the light there - the bedroom is lightened as well. Which can be annoying in the middle of the night. Again not critical for a short stay. And was quite entertaining for the kids :)

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast! Planegg is a lovely, peaceful German town! Not knowing anything about Munich, we booked this lovely hotel as a home base to discover Munich, which was not very convenient for that purpose - it met the need by having a train station in town though but we did spend a lot of time on the train! The rooms are all a little different with windows, bathrooms, size, bed configuration - the front desk staff was very accommodating getting us a room that worked for us.

Not really a complaint, just a heads-up - for us the rooms were a little warm so having a room with doors and windows (or multiple windows) allowed us to get a little better airflow.

Everything was really nice, no complaints, interior is as in 4star hotel. Some rooms (as ours) are at the level between groundfloor and basement, with a window, but very clean and nice.

Arriving later at night in l October we would expect that the room was preheated, it took 2 hours to get a cosy room temperature...
