We travelled as a group of 9 and booked a 10 person room. It was great, spacious (we didn't feel crowded at all!), with all the things that we'd need :) The beds were really comfortable, the staff was very helpful, everything was clean. There's a wonderful kitchen at the hostel, equipped with coffee maker, pots and pans, electric kettle and utensils; as well as a great breakfast option (8 eur additional) if you don't bring your own food. The shared showers and toilets were also very clean. Definitely can reccomend this hostel!

It was a bit cold in the room, but not horribly so :)

Old and cozy building with a very modern interior, but at the same time comfortable. Had a double room, with large windows, most comfortable mattresses ever and toilet and bathroom shared with only one other room on the floor in the little house. Really good tram, S-Bahn and bus connection all within a few minutes walking distance and you get into the towncentre within minutes. Staff was super friendly and helpful with all my request for an extra blanket. Loved the little bee house!

I was missing designated bins for recyclable and non-recyclable waste.

I'm really happy with my stay at Blue Doors Rostock. While it took me a moment to find the entrance, everything else worked super smooth. As I arrived late at night, the keys plus instructions where already waiting in a lockbox outside the reception just as the staff had told me upfront. My room had everything I needed and even though the windows of this room faced the main road, they were almost completely soundproof, so it didn't bother me (and I generally have a very light sleep). Room and the shared bathroom were super clean and modern, everything worked well. Unfortunately never got to meet the staff as I had to leave early in the morning, but from the exchange through messages they seemed very kind and considerate. Thank you &wish you all the best!

Location - good, safe. Connection by public transport is excellent. Staff - very friendly staff. Shops - very close to Aldi store. Room - warm, good for a short stay. I was in a room with a bathroom, alone. Separate house, excellent. Kitchen - well equipped for those who want to cook. Internet - excellent.

Cleanliness - could be tidier. Especially the bathroom, the mirror needs to be cleaned, the sink had hair on it, the hair comb was dusty. Additional payment - I had to pay 11.10 euros for a stay in the city for two days. This should be written when booking a hotel. The email arrives when you have already done everything.

One of the best youth hostels I've ever been. Extreme friendly staff, very nice location in the city, decent rooms and sanitary, what more does one need? And secret tip: go to the bakery at the next corner to try their blend of a croissant and pretzel!

All was fine! We had a small misunderstanding and arrived at the wrong location (they have 2 blue hostels in Rostock), but that was our mistake - just pay attention you go directly to the right place.

The hotel is good, the room has a nice size, the bed is comfortable and the bath is clean. The check-in is easy with very friendly and helpful personal. It is not that far away from the center of Rostock, you can reach it by tram (15 minutes) or walking (25-30 minutes). Super markets and good restaurants are also nearby. It was a great stay and I would recommend it!

The vibe, the badroom, and the location. Also, there was a common kitchen, and the affordable breakfast with oat milk.

The room distribution. We stayed in P1 and if you sleep next to the window it’s too narrow.

Modern, nice and clean. Free parking and nice outside area to hang out. Friendly staff.

A big road and street train beside/behind the building, can be noisy if you like to sleep with open windows or are very sensitive for noise. Noise-insulated windows, so not too bothersome.

Almost every aspect is good, the staff is friendly and helpful, location is perfect, general cleanliness and comfort are very good. I didn't order breakfast.

The blankets were too narrow which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Also, not all rooms have a bathroom but that's expected for this price range

Comfortable and huge spacious room, with everything I needed. Late check in was easy, the kitchen was super well equipped, shared bathroom spotless, and staff were super friendly and very helpful. Thank you!
