We stayed for two nights with our two children (9 and 13 yrs) after our holiday on Naxos, we came to Athens for the weekend before our flight home. The accommodation communication was good, everything clear and well explained. The apartment is in a good location a few mins walk from Monastikiri square. Access is clear, key box was easy to use. Inside the communal area is clean (lift was fine up to the 5th floor). The hallway is clean & room was easy to find. We appreciated that a/c had already been set running prior to arrival (it was almost 40 degree temps in athens that weekend) so that was kind of them to set it going for us, also the black out blinds were down so the room was nice and cool, this was a nice touch. We were tired after a long and hot ferry back from naxos and a taxi ride from the port, but as soon as we entered the apartment we felt refreshed and comfortable, the sofa bed and extra bed already made up for the kids. There were two big bottles of cold water in the fridge and milk sachets and tea and coffee as well as snack bread and jam etc for a snack. The kitchen and bathroom were very well equipped with coffee etc in the kitchen and toiletries and wipes etc in the bathroom. The room felt secure with excellent double-locked door & safety deposit box. The beds were VERY comfy and everywhere was super clean. No noise heard from the street or other apartments. A/C unit is modern and worked efficiently. Debbie, was super responsive/very kind and the lady who cleaned the apartment was friendly and caring - when we left for our day sightseeing she was advising our sons to wear hats and drink plenty of water etc because of the heatwave, which was sweet ( also - we did not expect daily cleaning/ beds made so this was a lovely surprise!) The area is fine, as usual for central athens there is graffiti & some buildings around appear run down but this is normal, in our experience, we felt safe walking around at night.

nothing, it was great and good value for money

The room we stayed in was huge. (kind of like a bachelor apartment) It had great lighting and the decor was very modern and upscale. The bed was super comfy. The location is around 5 mins walk from the main station (Monastiraki Square), so it is very close to most of the major spots in Athens. The hotel is just off the main street so it felt pretty safe to walk even at night. The manager was super helpful and even arranged for a taxi transfer for us to the airport. She was very responsive to any questions I had about the room and even Athens in general. The check in and check out process was also very easy.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Athina Apartments. Debbie is a wonderful manager. She was easily available and able to answer our questions. In advance of our arrival and departure, she called me via What's App with necessary information and sent texts when I was not on line. She arranged transportation for us to and from the Apartments (from the ferry and to the airport; the driver was timely and courteous.) We were able to get into one apartment earlier than the normal check in time, and we were delighted to find coffee and snacks available. When a coffee machine did not work, she replaced it immediately. The apartments were nicely furnished, with bathroom amenities, dishes and utensils, lots of electrical outlets, full length mirrors, etc. The apartments were clean (we met the woman who cleans and she is capable and hard working) and very usable (great shower!). The apartments are located around the corner from a market (where we could buy food) as well as outdoor restaurants. Our 20 minute walk to Archeological Museum took us past a wonderful bakery. I'd love to go back and spend more time!

The apartments are a little hard to find since it is on a small street, but the taxi driver found it easily. Because my personal internet access was not easily accessible until I was in the apartments, I missed some of Debbie's earlier What's App messages. But we caught up!

It's location was perfect, just outside of touristy areas but within walking distance of everything inc. Acropolis. Parking (expensive) just across the road. Lovely light studio for 2, comfortable bed, great shower and well equipped. Good communication with the manager who was extremely helpful and friendly.

There are some design faults eg the air con is under the window so people on settee get cold quickly as do people in bed. The one shelf is above the wardrobe area and at 1m 68 cm I couldn't reach it. So although fine for 2 you need the extra sofa bed for storage.

Very spacious room with everything you may need. Space for coats and luggage. View to the city and the Acropolis. Good A/C, water heater, bed, lighting and facilities, modern look. Just few minutes walk to Monastiraki Square. In the room will find a book with a lot of info of places to visit, transportation, near restaurants, etc, vey helpful. Definitely will consider staying again.

The only thing I see that can be improved is the shower door. The water scapes from the shower to the bathroom floor. Not really a problem for me but maybe for others.

1. Quite a few restaurants/grocery stores as well as the circle/open market and the subway were within a short walking distance. Our favorite restaurant was ATH.ER. Grill House which also has rooftop dining. 2. Elevator was very nice to have. 3. Lots of charging outlets in convenient places. In addition, a variety of lights such as small bed reading lights, lights for TV watching, etc. 4. Nice complementary shampoo/conditioner. The rain shower head was great. 5. Staff very friendly and helpful. Provided good information about transportation options

1. Although we had a reservation for three, the third bed was not made. However, I contacted the manager and someone came fairly quickly to make the bed so not a big deal. Loved that they were so responsive. 2. You must be very careful in the shower otherwise the spray goes into the toilet/sink area.

Great location to all key sights, short walk to Monastiraki metro station and nearby restaurants. Well kept apartment with a bit of view to Parthenon, cool and functioning AC for the hot summer 👌 Very proactive and thoughtful host who tried to let us check in earlier when knowing us traveling with a toddler in a hot day.

The bathroom door couldn't be closed properly. A step inside the studio that separated the living and sleeping area, we've to remind our toddler not to run in the apartment.

The property is one of the best property you could stay in Athens. Location is perfect. It’s in the city center. Close to shops and restaurants. The kitchen is Perfect you can find anything you needed. Very very clean apartment.

Nothing was bad. It’s just the air conditioner for me was a bit noisy at night but I am sure for many people that’s not the issue.

The shower is luxurious, the bed is comfortable, the people are lovely and helpful. We absolutely loved that they'd started the air conditioning for us before we arrived -- a wonderful touch during a heat wave.

The bathroom door doesn't close completely. Almost there, but it seems like the door itself is too big for the opening, so it just sort of leans. We were fine with it, though. Also, the building looks sketchy from the outside -- but inside, it's great!

Very modern apartment and a great size with great facilities should you wish to cook which we didn't. Very big comfortable bed and great view over athens.Very central location close to all amenities.

Nothing we loved this apartment and would definitely stay again should we visit Athens again. The host was lovely and got back to us straight away with any questions.
