Love the location - close to the bus stop (to/from the airport), close to the tram. We LOVE Glyfada, always stay there, however, if you want something closer to the city, you may want to look elsewhere as it takes about 40-45 mins to get to the city/port via public transport. The area is beautiful and safe, the view of the water from the hotel is lovely. There is a walking/jogging path by the water - excellent for morning walks. There are plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants; our favorite was the Apollonion Cafe. The hotel's RESTAURANT IS SUPERB. We had dinner there a few times and the food was fresh and tasty. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to go back - we will most definitely stay at the Palmyra Beach Hotel.

that our stay was too short....

Spent a week here with my wife. The hotel was spotless and staff were really nice. Lovely bar / restaurant and fantastic pool backing on to it. Pool service excellent .breakfast was OK. I only had 3 times. The room was top notch . Best shower I have ever had, think it's a Japanese shower.

1.The noise of the traffic. There is a 6 lane dual duel carriageway running right by the hotel. We were lucky we got room furthest away from it but was still very noisy.. the traffic was relentless. We were coming back from bar around 2am. Was still at it. Had to keep patio door.shut. Can just imagine what it's like facing the road. We were in room 103. 2. In the foyer where steps meet ramp, there should be a handrail . Floor and steps same colour as ramp. Worn out red strip to tell difference. Not adequate. Hard to makeout. Someone with impaired vision could have nasty accident. Wouldn't cost much to install

It's our second time in this hotel and I can't wait for the 3rd one :) Wonderful hotel, the price is really fair, we enjoyed staying there a lot. 1. Location is perfect. We wanted to stay in Glyfada and we got it. It takes about 10 minutes by feet to get to Glyfada city center. Area where hotel is located is super safe and nice, right in front of the sea. Tram or bus can get you to the center of Athens (takes 1 hour). Besides, a beach is right in front of the hotel, so in summer it's a plus. 2. The hotel itself is very nice, you feel very welcome. The staff is amazing, thank you guys a lot! There is also a gym and swimming pool there (we didn't swim though, it's cold now haha). 3. The room is spacious with all necessary facilities. It's very clean there. Besides, you have a nice balcony, a mini fridge, water. Bed is comfy. So it's just great :)

Everything is wonderful!

Very good breakfast with lot of choice of greek or international products. Very good location (Glyfada), not far away from the metro line 2 which go directly to the center of Athens (Acropolis, Syntagma,..). You can go to the center of Athens in the morning and relax at the beach or near the swimming pool in the afternoon. Beautifull vue of the Saronnic Gulf. Possible to eat at the hotel in the evening, very good Greek traditionnal food and also international (pizza, pasta,...). A lot of Greek traditional restaurant at walking distance from the hotel. A very good hotel with very professional and friendly staff !

We have just come back from our stay at the Palmyra and we couldn't rate it highly enough from the moment we first arrived all the staff we really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We didn't get all there names but From Vaggelis at reception and the other girls to the guy in the bar and the women in the morning who was in breakfast all were amazing. We use the gym and had some lunch at the hotel and the food was restaurant quality it was probably the best meal we had definitely recommend trying the food. The rooms we a good size and had everything you need and the maids were on hand to give you anything you ran out of and were really nice. We both really couldn't have ask for anything more from our stay in Athens and the surrounding area of the hotel has a lot to offer definitely head to the turtle santuary which is just at the bottom of the street. When we come back we will be staying here again. I would recommend hiring a car to get around but if not there is good transport links.

Nothing.

We can't say enough about this hotel and location. It's a 5 minute walk to Glyfada shops and restaurants. The beach is literally a 3 minute walk.....the staff was wonderful, attentive, willing to help with anything they could anytime. The linens on the beds smelt like they just came out of the wash and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast were great too, I believe it was $15 euro a day but you got fresh eggs cooked the way you liked them, fresh fruit, yogert and freshly squeezed orange juice along with coffee and tea. There were lots of options.

We went in April and the pool isn't heated but if you're Canadian like me it's like jumping into the Lake in June ....

The location was perfect. The hotel was the perfect size. The staff were exceptional - helpful in providing suggestions and securing transportation. The food at the waves restaurant was of amazing quality. We loved the pool area although it can get overcrowded at times. The hotel is sparkling clean and we definitely felt safe in and around the hotel. It’s in a great area of Glyfada. Oh, the spa facilities were great!!

The breakfast buffet wasn’t what we were expecting. And, it’s near a main road, so at times the traffic can be a bit much - but it’s Athens - so nothing really to detract from our experience.

Lovely place. Staff were so friendly. Rooms were really modern comfy and clean. We stayed here to follow my partner when doing Spartathlon. We stayed in a double room for a couple of days then we came back after the race with my partner and stayed in a family room for a week. The family room was an amazing size and perfect for us with the second room for my partners mum and room for our toddler to run around (plus glass on the balcony wall helped my nerves). Our room was made up every day which is really helpful when you have a small child. The pool was lovely with bar side drinks. Restaurant on site good and nice food. Easy parking on street outside. Beach just up a small road which was lovely. Tram stop to Athens just few minutes walk. Lots of restaurants and shops a 5 to 10 min walk away. I like it's Eco theme throughout the hotel and their values. We also liked being able to use the rooftop bar and pool of it's sister hotel The Emmantina up the road. Has amazing views from up there. Don't miss out.

Glyfada is a funny old place, it has these lovely hotels and beach but with a massive busy fast 3 lane road running through it. The road runs right outside the hotel. It's a noisy road at all times but you get used to it. The doors and windows are very good sound proofing, so not bad at night. Bit scary to walk along with buggy so we always went along the beach route instead. Just to be aware. I liked the eco friendly values throughout the hotel but thought this was contradicted by the hotel hosting over 20 high powered touring BMW motorbikes for a tour company between tours. They were kept next to the pool area. When the American and Canadian riders came back from the tour some of them had 'We love oil and gas' t-shirts on. A bit of conflict of interest and upset me a bit.

It was a pleasant experience. It is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Europe. Location is perfect. It is 2-3 mins away from beach. 1-2 mins away from the bus stop to airport line and 3-4 mins away from the tram station which connect the location to the city centre and Pireaus. Very near to Glyfada shopping complex as well. You can order dinner from variety of options and drinks from the restaurant bar of hotel. Breakfast was also good in just 12euro pp. Cleaning staff was very quick and efficient. Other staff members were very helpful and pleasant. Next time I am again going to take the same hotel for stay. Really worth the money spent.

In the night traffic noise was a bit annoying. Doors of balcony should be noise proof.

The stay was absolutely fabulous. The location was sooo close to the beach. The rooms were big and the staff was amazing. Also the food was so tasteful. We both had dinner as well as breakfast, but it was both soo good. At the breakfast buffet there is a lot of choice. Unfortunately we were only there for two days and one night, but we certainly will come back when we are in Greece again. The matrassess were also so good! We slept great at night. We also received a free upgrade, which was a nice addition to a short stay.
