Amazing location with a close walk to most Athens attractions. It is on a walking street with many cafes and restaurants including an attached cafe from the hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. Included breakfast was a great start for the day. Had an included lockbox and mini fridge. They offer tour packages as well as transfers to and from the airport.

I had some problems with the lockbox, but the staff were helpful and got me the instructions and it reset. The single person room that I had was very small. It was good for me, but some people might find it too small.

This hotel is a gem. It is so well located, especially if you are in Athens for a just a few days and want to do the major tourist activities. It is a simple hotel but has everything needed for a tourist in the city. The room was small but had a wonderful balcony with a view of the Acropolis (3rd floor, centre). There is a lovely coffee shop onsite. Nancy was wonderful. She was helpful, engaging and always up for a laugh. It may be o the expensive side, but definitely worth the money. SO many tourist attractions within walking distance - the Acropolis, the flea market area, the gas works (Gazi). Hop on and Hop off bus stops also close by. We would definitely stay again.

There is nothing to dislike unless you are looking for a beach hotel, a pool and a more relaxed holiday. This is definitely a tourist hotel in the true sense of the word. Every tourist attraction close by.

We loved absolutely everything at Phidias Hotel in Athens! Thank you to the hotel staff for arranging accommodation for us although we arrived late on the first night. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful- we didn't feel hungry until late in the afternoon. Special thanks go to Ramona and Stela who were extremely helpful, approachable and kind. They recommended to us very nice places to visit in Athens and Chania, Crete - where we went next. A wonderful experience! Many thanks from the heart, Daciana and Adrian

The location is beautiful, right on the paver road to acropolis that is lined with outdoor dining. Most things are walkable from here. The breakfast was quite good for us all, and there's a cafe/bar at the lobby as well with perfect cappuccino, Gelato, and wine. Our room had a small balcony overlooking this street as well. Everyone was kind there. Rooms had small fridge, enough space. It was a great price for all the positive things about it as well.

The air conditioning in one of our 2 rooms didn't work great but we never complained to ask for help either. I'd guess it cooled the room to 76 F maybe. The beds were rather firm and not padded, but after 1 night I adjusted to it ok. As a family of 4, we had to get 2 rooms throughout our vacation and this hotel was probably my favorite due to location and staff.

We liked the area so much. Very nice boulevard to the Acropolis (about 20min to walk), good restaurant with a romantic view to that ancient mountain city. The balcony was also very nice :) We had several problems with the room but they were all fixed within one day 👍

There should be a little bit more rack(s) for luggage and cosmetic item (especially for a woman ;-) ) One (black-hair) girl at the reception was not the firendliest one ... all the others were of course!! The coffee at breakfast was not the best - due to our subjective taste.

The hotel is located in a great location, within walking distance of most attractions, close to many nice restaurants and the subway. The breakfast was excellent and included a great variety of food, great coffee, fresh fruit and vegetables, traditional Greek bread and much more. The staff was friendly and smiling. The room we had rented was economy and indeed very small, but it included everything we needed even for a longer stay. It was quiet and warm, the bed was very comfortable.

Really low prices per night, especially during the low season (in our case it was €25 p/n) considering the location and the option of having breakfast. The breakfast menu isn’t large, but is sufficient, considering that it includes warm ingredients such as omelette and sausages, apart from the usual cold options of ham and cheese. Facilities in the room were basic, but in a good shape. Towels are changed daily (unless requested otherwise) and the room is tidied up on a daily basis too (unless requested otherwise). A mini cafe at the reception ensures that one can get a drink and/or snack without leaving the premises of the hotel.

The only inconvenience that we encountered was the relatively weak sound isolation from not just our neighbors, but also “neighbors” adjacent to our room on the floor, which were at times loud during the night and woke us up.

location was outstanding on a pedestrian street so it was fairly quiet. The room was clean and simple which is all we wanted and needed as we only slept in the room. Breakfast was wonderful with a great variety of items and the most lovely staff. The staff was helpful, kind, caring, and professional.

I wouldn't change a thing. It is a lovely hotel with great staff. If you are expecting fancy and large rooms this may not be the hotel for you. It was perfect for us and we will be back to stay.

The lady at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful with information and printing documents for my flight. But also the other staff are very nice and helpful. The (bath)rooms are very clean.the location is NOT on a busy car street but a nice park with pedestrian. It is very central and a great place to explore Athens from. The price we paid was very reasonable.

Maybe replacing some products with artificial flavours (like jam) from the breakfast for the real thing. But that is just a minor thing because the breakfast was also very good.
