The hotel is perfectly situated right in the heart of Agios Nikolaos with nice view both on the lake the port and the pedestrian road.Many shops and restaurants all around. Clean and minimalistic in decor, but efficient infrastructure, perfect for budget travellers. The kindness in the face of the girl in reception welcoming guests with a broad smile. Free parking available near by, in the port. All available transportation means in Agios Nikolaos within reach. Would recommend for sure.

Little noisy during the night, but no problem for me really.

Really great view over the lake - I had a room on the third floor and loved to sit on my balcony in the evening sun. The room has everything it needs, including a kettle and some nescafe/tea. Big, comfortable double bed. The staff were very kind. Lots of restaurants and shops around, you are in the middle of everything. About 10 mins to walk to the central bus station to get a bus to/from Heraklion.

The hallway feels quite near to the bed and the door lets sounds through - I didn't have noisy neighbours, so it wasn't a real problem.

A wonderful hotel right in the center of the city. The view over the lake and the cliffs is breathtaking, and there is even a little balcony where you can sit and enjoy it. The room was large and clean, the bed very comfortable, and the staff friendly. There is a nice cafe next door where you get a discount on food and drink, also with incredible views. Highly recommend this charming hotel!

The view facing the lake is the best! Morning and night you will see the change from quiet to buzzing with the surrounding restaurants. It's located by shops and restaurants and close to the beach too. Very well situated. The room with the kitchenette is very spacious and comfortable.

The kitchen backboard needs fixing up as the board paint layer was peeling off. The toilet cannot flush properly for some reason even though the water was very powerful, else everything was great.

Reception was very helpful from the start. From luggage storage, giving directors to the bus stops/how to get around Crete, to beach club and restaurant recommendations and tours to take. The aircon, Netflix and accessible restaurant and coffee shops around make this also an ideal place to work remotely. There is also a gym a 10 minute walk away and a bus station a 15 or so minute walk away.

Clean, location, Staff outstanding. The restaurant underneath is truly excellent. Bar out front great for post beach drinks. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Location perfect for everything. Gets cleaned and made up daily. Will 200% be staying again.

Great location in the centre and very clean and spacious rooms. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Overall would recommend staying here!

We didn’t like that the bathroom door had a gap at the top (you could hear everything if you’re in the room) and was made of frosted glass, meaning there was light pouring in if someone used the bathroom during the night. Cleaners came late to clean the rooms some days, one time even at 5:45pm when we had just arrived home from the beach and were using the room. In this case we had to skip the cleaning as they were unable to wait until later when we had left for dinner. Another time when they arrived late they cleaned the room with us in it, but it was a little awkward. I’m sure they’re just very busy, but it was just weird timing for room cleaning.

The major selling point of the hotel is for sure the super nice view over the lake where you can find all the restaurants and bars. The structure is clearly from around the 70s or 80s and it shows but the rooms (at least the suite we booked) are decently large and clean. You also get a discount for the restaurant at the first floor of the building.

Brilliant location overlooking the calming lake and amongst the lively restaurants and pretty shopping alleys that cater for all. The stunning clear waters of the beach and more vibrate bars and food options are only minutes away as you walk pass the small serene chapel nestled near the harbor front.

The view from our room was a city one, giving us a busy and entertaining aspect of the pedestrian walkway below. Not having a Lake view was a slight disappointment, but the size of the room made up for this. The toilet / shower room looked new and felt very clean. Beds where comfy.

Could be slightly noisy outside first thing!
