The staff, the cleanliness, the location, the beds, the breakfast, the pool area, it was excellent, everything. The staff everywhere were exceptional especially Monique and Nicolette who could not do enough for you. The communication before arriving was excellent and during the stay were knowledgeable and helpful friendly, warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious freshly baked bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, tomatoes to name a few plus excellent coffee and the best homemade cake. The rooms were spotless beautifully decorated with air conditioning, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. The beds huge so so comfortable. The pool area again immaculate and inviting you would be mad to miss this gem it was like a 5 star stay. Thank you sooo much we will return.

Having to leave

The location is central. You have nice organised beaches around, restaurants, bars and coffees shops around the hotel and anything you'll need is in a walking distance. The staff is really friendly and helpful and they speak many languages so it's easy to communicate. The rooms are lovely and the place is really clean. They were cleaning our room every single day. The breakfast has anything you need to start your day. They also have a small but nice swimming pool and sunbeds and tables around. Just a lovely place.

There's nothing I didn't like about this place

Great position at a walkable distance to the center, with free parking in the area and easy connection to the main roads. Rooms are cleaned and very nice, breakfast is not bad but it could be improved in quality and variety. Inside the building there is a patio with a nice shared pool where you can have your breakfast, which is great because it creates a nice and relaxed atmosphere even if the hotel is in the middle of other buildings. The hotel has also a mini gym and a sort of Spa where they do massages. Great value for money

We enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. It was super clean and nicely decorated very convenient location (very close to the heart of the city, steps away from the beach and a 2 minute walk to a huge municipal parking area) The staff were all very kind! The lady who welcomed us, Monique I think,made our stay so personal and warm. The beds were very comfortable The breakfast was nice In general I feel it was very good value for money. When we ll come back to Agios Nikolaos we will definitely stay here again

Breakfast was fine, location was good. Like everywhere in Crete, parking was a challenge, but got great advice from the staff and found paid parking close by that worked perfectly. More towels would have been nice and the bathroom all gets very wet when having a shower, but that is easy to manage

Air conditioning needs servicing as it’s noisy and leaks a bit. The bathroom floor get very wet and can be slippery because of the way the shower is designed. Floor towels fixed that though

The location is very good, close to everything but not a busy area. The swimming pool is small but perfectly adequate considering the beach is just around the corner. Breakfast was a typical cold buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, everything I needed was available. A very nice hotel and a relaxing stay

The cover of the housing of the electrics for the mini pool was loose so possibly not safe especially if the weather was wet. The bed was way too soft, too much pressure on my back getting out of it and it wasn't a double bed as requested, two single beds pushed together are not a double. The room needs upgrading

The hotel is located very close to the beach, restaurants and caffès! 5 minutes away from th city centre and the famous lake of Agios Nikolaos! I enjoyed the breakfast and the clean room! The staff in the reception desk were polite and always willing to help on everything!

Due to defect in the bathroom sometimes it was a bad smell if you left the door closed for too long!

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center. Upon arrival, we immediately received many great tips on restaurants. The Taverna on the corner, Portes, comes highly recommended! The staff was incredibly friendly, they were always interested in how things were going and had lots of tips. Therefore, we will definitely recommend it!

The shower has no shower curtain or screen or anything. As a result, the bathroom floor gets very wet. Breakfast was fine, but the same thing every day. So after a few days you have seen it.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was very clean and the bed was huge and super comfy. The location was perfect - 3 mins to the beach, easy to walk to the marina, and a lovely restaurant Portes 1 min away! The staff were so kind, friendly and really helpful sorting our onward plans. Really great value for money and including breakfast! Would highly recommend.

The bathroom was a little bit small.

Loved the jacuzzi on balcony with seaview (but too hot at 40.5 degrees C and couldn't regulate temperature). Nice toiletries complimentary. Friendly staff with good local restaurants suggestions. Great location near seafront. Quiet rooms. Very clean.

Odor in bathroom of sewage. Difficult to change temperature on jacuzzi. Bathroom gets wet as shower door was too small.
