Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and the location was fabulous. We were close to shops, bars and bus station too. The view from our balcony was absolutely stunning with our own fabulous view of the sunset !! Would definitely return 😊

The views are stunning! Other tourists from the island all gather near the entrance of this property to look at the caldera and especially the sunset each day. We can see all of this beauty from our rooms. Georgina is the most ideal hostess imaginable and will cheerfully take care of every guest. The breakfast is customized for each room daily.

There's nothing to dislike! Recommendations for future guests: if certain features are important, you should message to ask in advance which room is best for you. Some are quieter, have fewer steps, different views, more outdoor sitting space, etc. and you can ask which one to book to avoid disappointment or misunderstanding upon arrival. As with any popular destination, I recommend earplugs for light sleepers.

Everything was IMMACULATE!!!! Most of the time when you view properties online, they look nothing like the photos but Asteras Villas was an exact REPLICA! SO VERY PLEASED! Top Notch Service from Staff. The guy that assisted with our Luggage was UNBELIEVABLY STRONG 💪 We will definitely stay again and have already recommended this property to our close friends!!!!

brilliant view, location and staff

there are a lot of stairs to get to and from the rooms but such is the nature of the property being built into the cliff. we didn’t have an issue with it but for those with mobility issues this will be a challenge

We were on a Europe Tour as a couple. Goergina and Dino turned out to be the most welcoming hosts in the 10 countries that we stepped in. They do their best to make you comfortable and they pay attention to every details. No need to repeat yourself or remind them if you made a request. We had a surprise party invitation to celebrate the new year. We were even gifted Santorini souvenirs. Our stay was perfect 👌 Thank you for making our holiday so memorable. It was a lifetime experience ❤️❤️❤️ We were sincerely sad to depart from such nice and devoted people.

The view is simply stunning ! Our room was perfect as you get 360 view over the sea and the sunet, plus you have a private balcony with sunbeds and hot-tub that is not under a roof so you can really enjoy the view, however you dont have full privacy. The staff was very friendly as well and welcoming! The shower was also super nice, facing the window with the sea and the bedroom/bed was very nice, cosy, in the cave. The breakfast on our terrasse was really good. Everything with this view was so unique. We recommend for sure and we would come back !

The towels for the shower tend to smell humidity The rooftop bar above the hotel is really cool but one night they put the music very loud, we could hear it too much even in the bedroom, something to discuss with the bar itself probably but the other night it was quieter so maybe they were told off.

The towels were not dried thoroughly when washed. It had a smell of “dampness” when being used so it was not a pleasant aroma from the towels. Finding the exact location of the entrance and where the reception location are not obvious so took some time to look for them to be found with lugging suitcases around. This should have been communicated in email and described precisely on how to get to the entrance/reception location , also what to do while the reception is closed between 2pm to 6pm. ( not always guests have cell phone traveling from overseas, perhaps didn’t get a chance to get the local SIM card yet)

We stayed in La Luna Suite, which is the largest suite at the top of the caldera. Just amazing views and a huge room built as a cave. There is loud music from the bars all around the suite until around midnight, but we loved that aspect of the stay and were out late anyway. Its very quiet after that and the breakfast is very good, especially the omelette. It’s a magical suite and wonderful place so close to the center of everything.

Nothing, it was awesome

Breakfast was good and arrived on time. The location was good though privacy was a concern. The view and hot tub were amazing as well as the size of the room as it was the biggest one we had the whole visit! They weren’t offering candlelight dinners as advertised which was a bit disappointing but there were a lot of close restaurants!

We stayed in the la Luna suite which appeared to be the highest one. It was an arms length from this open air cafe that could look over at us on our balcony. This was the biggest negative of the suite as anyone there could just look over at us eating or in the hot tub. Even a make shift privacy divider would’ve helped. Also check in is at 3 but they close reception from 3-6? Which doesn’t make since to me so when we arrived at 430 from our tour no one was there. Our tour guide was able to call the number and the suite had been left open for us which was good. Also this is the only place that gave us champagne for our honeymoon which was really appreciated!

The outlook from our room was amazing. The room itself was good, the breakfast was great and the staff were exceptional. A big thank you to Georgina and her wonderful little team - so friendly and helpful. But the view....THE VIEW!

The many steps to our room (although we knew about this when we booked our room). We originally booked the Phoebe Suite, but when we discovered there were somewhere around 100 steps, we changed our booking to the Venus Suite - only about 40 steps to the main walkway. So pleased we did this.
