Great sized rooms abs the staff were fantastic - some of the best customer service I have experienced. We arrived very late, but had starving teenagers. The receptionist was super helpful - he rang a local takeaway for us and helped us to order. Definitely above and beyond. Breakfast was €6 euros, which was good value.

We knew we’d hear the planes and we did - but it didn’t really bother us. If you stay close to an airport, you always will hear them.

Had a wonderful stay at Marvel rooms. The staff was friendly, the room was very clean and there was plenty of free parking around the hotel. It was rather refreshing to stay in the suburbs of Heraklion as we got a taste of the local lifestyle, and walking/ driving into town at night was also very nice and romantic - the hotel is around 25 minutes walk from central Heraklion. Would highly recommend this place, would definitely return! and thank you to all the lovely staff :)

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in July 2022. It was a small hotel at the end of a road in Heraklion, but was very surprisingly beautiful and clean inside. They didn’t have a twin room for us when we arrived, so they upgraded us to a room with 2 floors/beds in it. I was very happy with the room that has all the amenities needed including morning coffee. Continental breakfast was served in a rooftop restaurant with absolutely beautiful views of the marina and sunrise. Reception personnel were incredibly helpful and cordial. They even packed a breakfast bag for us to take to the airport with us because we were missing breakfast. All COVID protocols were adhered to and place was immaculate. I would most definitely stay here again…5 stars…great job Marvel!

Hotel was directly in the flight path from the Heraklion airport, so it was a little loud.

Our room was situated on the ground floor and as we were told it was one of the renovated ones. It was spacious, clean, equipped with a modern furniture. The bed was comfortable. Both the air-conditioning and wifi were working fine. There is a rooftop terrace on the 3rd floor where you can have a breakfast or relax in the evening. Parking is possible in front of the building. It's a good choice if you need to spend one night close to the port or to the airport.

Rooms in the ground floors have a common outdoor sitting possibility together with other rooms which might be disturbing for some guests. You feel a little bit like in a cellar as there is no view from a "terrace" and you are surrounded by other rooms and walls. Planes departing from the airport are very noisy even if you close the window. The neighborhood of the property is a bit scary, especially in the evening. Breakfast is very simple (packed toasts, a piece of cake, butter, jam and boiled egg). Property is a bit far from the city center (20-30 mins of walking).

Perfect location to the airport. We had an early flight so it was great to be 5 min from the airport.

We booked 2 rooms..1 for my husband and me and 1 for our 3 kids. The kids’ room was fine. My room wreaked of smoke. As nonsmokers, we are very sensitive to the smell of smoke. I woke up with a headache and scratchy throat. That ruined our experience.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms and facility was spotless. The breakfast offered was very substantial and pleasantly appointed on the roof deck with a view. They were all kind and responded well to my requests.

Location although convenient to the airport, its has its occasional flights overhead but it never bothered us for sleeping.

The room was way better (and bigger) than we expected. Everything was really clean and nice. The staff was really friendly and we were able to get late check-in and check-out. This was great place to stay one night during our trip to the next place.

The location was good for us as we were just staying one night and we headed to the airport the next day, but it wasn't right at the airport and not right at the city center. If you are light sleeper, the noises of the air planes might keep you awake (not a problem for us).

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment that still has the feel of a new build about it. The room was spacious and light and very comfortable. The walk to town is perhaps about 20 minutes but it is OK. You can take the frequent bus no1 that passes by. There was plenty of street parking for the hire car.

In the bathroom despite there being a screen the water from the shower leaked out due to it not draining properly and flooded the bathroom. We had to use a towel to try and stop this and hang it out afterward.

The hotel is in the direct flight path of Heraklion airport, and the planes fly low over it all night long. That said, we were only there bc our flight got in too late to pick up our rental car, so it served its purpose just fine (with earplugs, not provided, so bring them!)

There was no one at the desk when we arrived and we had to pound pretty hard to get someone's attention, but once we did it was fine. Breakfast was odd, but I guess there was something for everyone in the end.

The hotel was lovely, clean with helpful & attentive staff. It was close to the airport as we needed to depart early the next morning.

The downside of being so close to the airport is how loud the departing planes from HER are. Our sleep was definitely impacted, but i guess it was worth the 4 minute drive to the airport. :)
