location note that half board does not include drinks and NO water ! the amount of restaurants is misleading because with half board u can only eat at the main restaurant and with a discount at the other restaurants pretty sterile. some candles at dinner could make it more cozy pool bar closed at 18 pm.. whilst we had beautiful sunsets. missed opportunity

The rooms were amazing, especially with your own pool. The hotel pools are wonderful with one salt and one sweet ( as they call fresh water ). The hotel is unique in the respect that the pools stretch the breadth of the hotel and look especially nice at night. The Spa was worth a visit and for once the massages are really powerful if you choose them to be and are carried out by those that know what they are doing.

I didn't mind, but there is no beach and the sister hotel beach over the road is not to be recommended. We hired a car and drove to Episkopi beach which has sun loungers with drinks service, umbrellas and a nice beach restaurant. This beach is also out of town and uncrowded. The lift to the rooms is a little slow, a funicular with only one train so you can find yourself going up when you mean to go down! Perhaps having a cinema evening would be nice as there appears to be a space designed for the purpose and themed dinners in the buffet would be nice too?

We love the stay at the Royal Senses - we booked two grand sea view rooms and with Hilton membership we got an upgrade to two top floor villas with big terrance and private pool. That made a great start of the trip for us! The breakfast was exceptional with lots of varieties and plenty of fresh fruits and drinks. We loved the public pools too with one heated and one saltwater pool of sea water temperature to choose from. The kids pool was nice too and properly heated in the afternoon. The staff were really helpful and kids friendly. The service we received there was beyond expectation.

There are three restaurants for dinner - so after a few days we would crave for some change.

Our recent stay at the Royal Senses Resort & Spa in Crete was nothing short of extraordinary. The resort's commitment to cleanliness added an extra layer of reassurance, allowing us to relax and enjoy the great facilities such as the pools, spa, restaurants, small aqua park and even the children's club. In summary, Royal Senses Resort & Spa Crete exceeded my expectations. From the luxurious accommodations to the impeccable service, every detail was thoughtfully curated. I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a memorable and indulgent getaway in Crete. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

beautiful, well designed. the staff, especially Stella, we gave us personalised service and make us feel top priority. all the staff were present. the Villa room is more then amazing. best view. the food, especially the breakfast, is the best we have ever had. very clean facilities. i hope we can spend more time in the hotel. thanks for everything!

beautiful hotel, stylishly decorated, friendly staff. Our family suite was spacious and comfortable, with a daily gift in the form of fresh fruit and sweets. beautiful swimming pools with comfortable sunbeds. Breakfast buffet is very extensive and we always had lunch at the pool bar, which has a small but excellent menu with plenty of vegan options.

the beach is not attractive, a kind of surrogate bay has been created with concrete blocks, without any view over the sea, only accessible by shuttle or 5 minutes walk on a road that is not suitable for pedestrians. The dinner buffet is mediocre, especially considering the price. But the towns of Panormos and Rethymons are easy to reach by taxi and offer plenty of restaurants

use of indoor pools is at an extra charge, staff are not trained to give good customer care and the lifts are annoying it takes so long to get to your room. this is more of a volume tourist resort. dinner prices are exorbitant compared to other far better restaurants around for half the price.

The Royal Senses Resort & Spa in Crete is a stunning resort! We were truly fortunate to spend a memorable vacation with our family there during July 1-7, 2023. Our only regret was not booking a longer vacation. The amazing sea views, the AMAZING infinity pools, the spa, the beautiful spacious rooms, the excellent food, the atmosphere everywhere! I could go on and on about this amazing resort and the thought invested in every aspect of it. However, all of these are just a backdrop to this hotel's unforgettable stars - the resort's team showed us what true kindness is. This kindness was met everyday with the most dedicated service to their guests. Wow, they made us feel special with their kindness and left an unforgettable impression on us. Thank you!

We appreciate every aspect of the resort and our stay. We loved everything! If you are not renting a car, we advise to rent private transportation and take day trips - we took a taxi to Rethymno and spent there half a day. We also rented a mini van for a day trip to the beautiful lake Kournas and Chania old city. We enjoyed the hotel's private beach.

My Partner(Abonde) booked this Resort for our sons 3rd birthday & Everything about this hotel/resort was Fanstastic. From Check in with assistance from Atheni(Love her so much) & another guy at reception till the last very day was Special. We felt well taken care of, Safe & they went above & beyond to make our first family trip special. We had a free upgrade to the villas on one of our last nights & it was juat absolutely stunning. I really didn't want to leave & i am the type that is always ready to be back home in my comfort zone after a few days away. We cannot wait to be back🙏🏽
