Upon arrival in the middle of the night, our host Maria left us the keys and sent us a video with directions to the room. Very kind of her. I slept worse the first night because I didn't know that the air conditioning starts working when the windows to the balcony are closed. The accommodation is close to Heraklion airport so planes fly by and it is very noisy. However, when the balcony door is closed, it is great to sleep. The location was quiet, no party goers or wild people. Not by and in the pool, not on site. The pool was clean, the location otherwise clean too. Host Maria extremely friendly, always ready to help! Also otherwise very relaxed atmosphere of all the staff there.

The only things that could have been better were the breakfasts, better bread and a little more variety, for example the option of cereals and baked eggs, but as it was, breakfast was identical every day. But it was nicely served :)

This amazing hotel is located 20 min away from Heraklion, you are surrounded by silence, yet there is everything you need in close surrounding (shops, tavernas, bars, etc). The host, Maria is a highlight of our vacation, she made us feel really like at home, everything was possible and nothing was difficult for her to do. Our expectations were more than exceeded!!! Our room was just the perfect size for the couple and a friend with just enough privacy for both sides. They were cleaned every day and everything was neat. The pool area is small, but not lacking and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is continental, however, just enough in amount, pretty well thought out, with home made pastries and sweets - Kudos for this small touch. Definitely planning on coming back and making this my go to location for a perfect vacation!

Very tasty breakfast (including bread, sweets, yoghurt, fruit, coffee, juice, eggs) and good location (close to the beach/airport). The pool area is great, it’s possible to order food and drinks which Maria or her mother will prepare. They are the best hosts you could ask for!! Would definitely recommend Anemos Inn.

The rooms have been renovated and are really clean. The bathroom/shower is a little small but this is the same everywhere in Greece, so it’s not really a problem

We liked everything from room service to breakfast. The owner was amazing, helped with everything we needed. Even greeted us with a surprise for our honeymoons. We loved absolutely everything. Thank You, Maria!

There is no such thing that we did not like.

This hotel was a gem of a find. It is attractive, clean, well designed with a lovely pool area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is good, within walking distance from the beach and tavernas and close to many attractions, especially if you hire a car. The owner, Maria goes over and above to ensure your holiday is everything you want it to be. As do Katerina and Carlos. Warm and friendly, I cannot praise this place highly enough.

Absolutely nothing!

We stayed there for just one night before our flight to leave Crete, and really enjoyed our short stay! Our room was nice, really spacious, clean, the staff was very welcoming. The pool and garden were a plus to relax on our last afternoon of vacation. Good location, parking in the front, short 10 min trip to the airport and some good restaurants near by.

Amazing hostesses - Maria and Kallia always got out of their way to accommodate any needs, and they are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I felt really looked after, especially being a solo traveller. The location was excellent for Heraklion as well as the beach (super close). The pool was very pleasant so I happily split my time between the two. The room was very pretty and very clean and the inn itself (minus the plane noise) was very quiet and peaceful.

The bed wasn’t comfortable but Maria has offered a good workaround (she’s awesome). Also, please be aware that there’s noise pollution due to plane traffic, which of course the hosts can do nothing about (price you pay for being so close to the airport).

There was nothing to complain about. We stayed with 10 people and the rooms were cleaned regularly and we were never unhappy about anything. Breakfast provided was beautiful and always slightly different which was nice. Maria and the rest of the staff were fantastic and we can't wait to go back!

The host and the staff were both so kind and helpful. They take good care of the guest’ comfort. Good location, the room was nicely designed and cleaned daily. The bus stop was at an easily reachable distance of 5 minutes so it was easy to visit Heraklion city center. Shops, restaurants and bars were nearby. Special thanks to Estia for being so helpful with everything; truly the kindest host!

Anemos Estia is a wonderful place to stay no matter the reason of travel. Maria and her mother make you feel like family from the second you walk in the door. You are taken care of in all regards and they are there to help you with anything you might need. The food was excellent and they love to interact with their guests. We spent a total of 12 nights at their estate and would have stayed more if we could. The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. The WIFI was also great and very fast which made it easy to work away from home. I recommend Anemos to anyone coming to Crete. It will exceed all expectations.

Everything was great. I loved every minute of my stay!
