Great location, just few steps away from the old port and the old part of the town. You can find everything you need in a walking distance. Friendly owners/personnel. Typical buffet breakfast. Nice rooms with air condition and modern equipment. There was hot water all day and with good pressure. Some of the rooms have side sea view.

It was hard to open/close the sliding doors of the balcony. We had 2 rooms. In one room you could not lock the shutter sliding door. In the second room you could not lock the window sliding door. The room with the side sea view was facing a busy road so you couldn't stay at the balcony for long because of the noise.

The hotel is well located, close to the port and ferries. The staff was exceptionally nice. They met all our special requests and helped us with whatever we needed. Our plane was 5 hours delayed and it was too late at night for a bus to town. Still - after a phone call to the hotel - a taxi that was already at the airport came and took us to Kos town - without additional charge. We got a nice room on top of the building where we were completely on our own - with a table and 2 chairs outside in the wind and a lovely morning view of the port! The room (with fridge) and bathroom were modern and new. At check in we received breakfast coupons as bonus - although we had not booked breakfast. The breakfast was superbe with a huge variety of food and coffee/tea - the atmosphere in the breakfast room was very peaceful and the staff attentive. The lady at the reception was very nice and helpful for getting tickets for our onward trip by ferry.

The beds, the mattress.... The twin beds were quite narrow... Ok, we could have lived with it.... but the mattresses were so soft that we both got great back pain - during the night and in the morning (and the two of us are of very different shape and weight).

I stayed here overnight twice, either end of a trip around the Dodekanese. The hotel is conveniently located for the ferry port (15 mins walk) and the bus station (10 mins walk). The rooms I stayed in were each quite small but look to have been recently refurbished with a modern bathroom and were spotlessly clean. Private balcony, good wi-fi signal, A/C and constant hot water. A buffet breakfast was also included.

A slightly larger room would have been preferred for a longer stay but perfectly adequate for my single night stopovers.

We loved the fact that this family owned and ran hotel had everything we needed and a little bit more. Relatively renewed facilities and great service. The breakfast was modest, but consistently good. Very practical for investing most of our time touristing and going to the beach.

The only think that could have been better is the light smell of sewage coming from our bathroom drain. Besides that, everything was flawless.

Location is inside Kos harbour, walking distance to everywhere. Family business running own Hotel for many years keeping all facilities up to date. Open buffet with many fresh choices. Hotel is located on a quite street within the center

Everything was above my expectation for and old family hotel. Owners keeps investing for renovation and improvement of rooms and facilities. Its more than 2 star. Budgetary price. Maybe more open space

This hotel has our highest recommendations. It was excellent value for money and was the perfect hotel for us. Close to the harbour, so it was a very easy walk from our ferry. Beautifully situated, and near to many lovely restaurants. Lovely view from our bedroom, and possibly the comfiest beds we have ever had on holiday. Staff were very friendly and we felt very well looked after.

Booked as an overnight pit-stop from plane to ferry. Staff were very pleasant on check in at 1am, and the room was clean, secure and had all we needed (including a balcony) for our very short stay. Very close to the harbour and exceptional value - we would have stayed longer if we'd had more time!

We only stayed 1 night, before taking the ferry to Astypalea. Catherine Hotel was perfect - it was within walking distance of the port. We were late arriving, but were greeted and checked in by a friendly member of staff (and cat 😊) Breakfast was a welcome bonus, with plenty of choice - toast, eggs, hot plates (meats and omelette) fruit, yogurts and pastries. We would definitely choose to stay again, especially if we needed the port.

Hotel Catherine was close to bars & restaurants. Our room was cleaned daily by a very lovely woman. There was a fridge in the room too. The cats were friendly 🐈🐈‍⬛

A kettle would have been handy to make a herb tea.
