We have been for 14 days with our 6 month old baby in the Arlen Beach Hotel. Maria and Jannis made us feel like comming home from the first moment. With Melissa and Baris it felt for us like living in a small greek Familie. They took so much care about our child and gave us such a warm, lovely and pleasurend stay. We can highly recomend this hotel. Our room had a awesome sea view, the pool has been a calm and relxing area, the greek breakfast , the Café and the fruit drinks has been tasty and the first opportunity to swim in the ocean or to have dinner is just across the street. Literally everything, I don’t have any complaints just a big big thank you to the owners for the amazing time we spent at their beautiful place. It really felt like home, rooms are clean and have plenty of space. The view from balconies is something else. The background with a swimming pool is also very nice and clean. Our room was really clean and comfortable with everything we could need. Every day cleaning. Maria was extremely supportive and was ready to help any minute. We are very grateful. Beaches, restaurants and shops are really close. We’re so happy we decided to stay here, I can recommend it to anyone. Our holiday was amazing at this place. Thank you!

We have been to many places in the village, but we have never been to a hotel with such a nice family atmosphere! Many thanks to the hosts! The hotel is in a very nice location, everything is very, very close, a beautiful beach promenade, wonderful restaurants, shops. The apartment is nicely furnished, and the balcony offers a wonderful view of the sea. The pool is very pleasant, nobody takes sunbeds at dawn. At the reception there is a small bar and a self-service drinks cooler. Light breakfast and other light meals are available on request. We can only recommend it to everyone. We will definitely go back.

I loved the Arlen beach hotel! The view of the ocean was exceptional from the big balcony and hearing the waves falling asleep was wonderful! The very spacious room with kitchenette had a high ceiling and lovely Cretan charm, a rare find these days. The bathroom was very modern with a great shower. Maria and Yanis, the young owners, are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel like old friends. There were plenty of restaurants, supermarkets nearby and Maria gave us excellent recommendations. A jewel of a hotel with superb accommodations, view and hosts!

I stayed 12 days in this gem of a hotel back in August. The whole experience couldn't have been any better. Maria and Yannis are not only great hosts - always ready to help with directions, advice, many recommendations, you name it – but they are wonderful and genuine humans. In my opinion, it is precisely their approach that elevates otherwise a standard stay in a nice accommodation. I am taking the opportunity of this review to thank them again for their hospitality and their friendliness. The staff was also very gentle and caring (thank you, Melissa!). The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are spacious. The sea view from the terrace is amazing. Guests can also sunbathe by the pool, located in a well maintained garden or relax by the shadowed pergola. Like many others reviewers, I’ll emphasize the hotel’s location. Perfection. Some of the nicest restaurants in the area, as well as bus station, supermarkets, pharmacy – all within 2-5 min walking. I loved it here. Hopefully, I’ll soon come back.

Very spacious apartment and immaculately clean. I has all you need for a comfortable self catering stay. Maria and her family are so welcoming and helpful. Great location with a balcony to the front over looking the beach and the rear bedroom over looking the pool.the swimming pool is a great size and perfect as only guests can use it. Comfy sun loungers and outdoor showers. Close to water front restaurants but not too close so the place is fairly quiet. We recommend The Terrace restaurant a few doors down. Short walk to the high street for all your shopping. We would definitely return if we visit that part if Crete again. Thanks again Maria.

Lovely place and good location! Highly recommended. The Arlen is lovely; It is unpretentious (which is quite refreshing) but very functional and decorated simply but with taste. The swimming pool area was superb and the little café area at the front was very convenient for coffees and drinks. We had a very spacious room (303) with a large balcony and a seaview which was fantastic. The bathroom (with shower only) was spot on. The kitchenette had everything we needed. Maria & Yianis are charming people who clearly care for their spotless property and their clients.

From my point of view, traveling to Crete will be, from now on, associated with staying at Arlen Hotel. It was one of the best experiences that I had at a hotel. It is a family hotel, and Maria and Yannis put a lot of soul into their business, and this is felt by the tourists. They made an entire list of beaches for us to visit and also local taverns where we could have a nice lunch. They were always present and available to handle every need, or just to hang and chat about how your day was. The hotel is well maintained, the room was large, and very clean. The cleaning crew We had everything we needed in the room and the kitchen. The room had a balcony with sea view, you can see the sunrise each morning while sipping your coffee. There was also a pool that the guests could use, with sunbeds. And also a children pool. The water was clean. It was a perfect vacation, and most of this was made by Maria and Yannis. I would definitely go back to Arlen each time I would visit Crete.

I cannot think of anything that I didn't liked.

We were very pleased with both the location and the staff! We were able to enjoy the sound of the Sea of Crete while people watching from our balcony. Everything within Limenas Hersonissos was readily accessible from the property, yet we were the perfect distance from the night life noise to get a peaceful sleep. Maria and Yiannis are extremely caring and attentive hosts who welcomed our questions and requests for assistance. Melissa provided outstanding daily housekeeping and always greeted us warmly and with a smile.

The hosts were a super lovely and helpful couple. Their hotel is located right next to the beach. Our room was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We didn't get the chance to swim in the pool but the beach is just a few steps away. There are so many nice restaurants along the beach nearby. The location was great. They also had private parking which was nice. The view from our hotel balcony was amazing and it was really lovely waking up to the sound of beach waves every morning. Thank you for the wonderful stay :)
